CHAPTER 33 - Go For Back (Part 1)

Shankara smoked her 4th cigarette that night in the middle of the dark sea she was only accompanied by lights from a cruise ship that had not docked for 2 weeks. Shanka as soon as people call her, a senior staff on the cruise ship, it has been 6 years she survived on this ship, from 1 country to another.

Not without reason this 29-year-old man who looks like an Indian actor works on a ship and always feels lonely. Like now, his friends are partying because 2 more days their ship will return to the beloved country of origin and 1 friend will give up his single period, but Shanka instead looks very sad. His employment contract had expired and he decided to return after 6 years of wandering the high seas.

"Shanka... Let's celebrate, aren't you happy to see me getting married in a week? Come on, man." Said one of her friends there but Shanka remained silent and enjoying her 5th cigarette now, she was starting to fear, she was afraid of meeting someone she had been avoiding.

The ship finally docked, it has been 6 years he did not set foot in his homeland. "Gatian!!!" Shouted a woman from far away to come pick her up, she was Prithika.

"Thika.wah it's getting so cute." Said Shanka so approached Thika who picked her up with her sister Kula.

"Yes dong.. Thika is that." Thika won't lose.

"Wah Kula uda gede nih.." Shanka punched Kula's shoulder which is now as big as hers.

"Bang Shanka is getting more handsome, like Hrithik Roshan when he was young." Praise Kula to Shanka who is very handsome more than Bollywood actors. Even on the ship many women who want to just spend the night with him for a fantastic fee but he refused.

Finally the rich women were only content to look at him from afar but still gave tips for him if he came to bring something they ordered over and over again just to see it.

Thika and Kula take Shanka to her former home but the house is badly damaged and can't be lived in for a while, because it had been a night they invited Shanka to stay at their home which was only 2 houses away.

"Sorry, we can't take care of your house. While living in our house." Thika said she felt guilty because the house was the legacy of Shanka's parents.

"What's wrong, I really want to rebuild this house, please find a handyman who can be finished quickly and the work is neat."

Thika immediately nodded and told Kula to call Mr. Parmin the top craftsman in the area. Just 5 minutes, Mr. Parmin was in front of Shanka and was negotiating to build this house, after a long debate but not using veins, Thika takes Shanka to her house to stay, but Shanka chose to stay at the hotel only.

"Are you sure you're going to the hotel?" Thika and Shanka asked.

"Ehm. well when only 2 different houses.." Thika pointed at her house.

"Yes you know, I haven't forgotten." Said Shanka and finally they decided to go to dinner first because Shanka was starving.

The two of them are looking for food near the house because Shanka is very long for kampung snacks such as tek-tek noodles, fried rice, satay sold by the roadside, meatballs, soto carts and others.

"How much more do you want to eat? This is the menu to 3.." Complaints Thika and Shanka still need their energy intake because they miss this food.

"Please, this is the last one.." Shanka said but she still ordered 10 more skewers.

"CK. basic, you eat like this but your body can be stocky.." Thika stabs Shanka's arm muscles with her finger and Shanka just laughs.

"You think it's instant? Because there is no entertainment in the middle of the ocean and there is only a tv with a blurry screen no signal yaudah I gym aja every day, mayan be macho." Obviously Shanka but Thika instead looked at him with disdain.

"Don't try to enter the gym here\, you're out of the same temptation *******." Said Thika and Shanka goosebumps for a moment.

"Ohh ok ok, thanks for the info." Shanka said and continued eating.

"Hey when we get back, I'm so sleepy.."  Thika complained, they were on the bike and it was almost 11 pm but Shanka still cool to ride his bike Thika to travel around his hometown.

"Yes, come back, borrow your bike tomorrow, I'll take you to work.." Shanka shouted so that Thika could hear her.

"Yes okay, now go home, tomorrow I go in the morning at 8." Shouted Thika and Shanka speeding back to her home area.

After driving Thika home, Shanka returns to the hotel and tomorrow she will look for a contract to hustle until her house is completed, maybe about 2 months.

As usual if Shanka felt lonely she would smoke and this time she spent 3 cigarettes on the balcony of her hotel room, while thinking about the mass and what he would do now with the huge money he had accumulated for 6 years.

At 7 am Shanka was in front of Thika's house who was still sleeping, Shanka did not want to stay silent, she instead helped her mother Thika in the kitchen. Living on the ship made Shanka learn a lot of things besides house keeping he also worked in the kitchen and ended up in the Bar.

"Don't eat any more.You're a catfish when you eat, I'm ready to put it in the box." Shanka pulled Thika and got out of the house so she could quickly deliver her because she had an appointment to see her friend this morning.

"Stop stops..." Shouted Thika and fortunately Shanka had time to ngerem before delay, Thika immediately ran in but he was forgetful with supplies that had been made by Shanka, who was not the best, shanka had to park the bike first and go down to catch up with him.

"Good morning we haven't opened yet...." Sapa Flo and she immediately gaped to see Shanka who was in front of her.

"I'm looking for Thika mba, she forgot to bring this. Please give it to her yes.thank you." Shanka then turned around.

"YRINYA!!!!" Shouts of Flo and Thika who were in the cooling room immediately panicked and came out.

"Why Flo why??" He asked with an anxious face and Flo glanced at him sharply.

"Who was that handsome guy?" Flo asked still squinting her eyes suspiciously.

"Where's the handsome guy?" Thika is confused by Flo's question and she remembers Flo lifting Thika's food box.

"Ohh that's Shanka my friend since kindergarten, uh since toddler, I forgot. she's older than me anyway.." Thika replied as she retrieved her lunchbox from Flo's hand which was still looking at her suspiciously.

"He's too handsome to be your friend Thikaa... "

"Yes, yes, I was considered his servant, satisfied!" Upset Thika and Flo laughed very satisfied hearing that.

"Thika.. Which one did you work for?" Tanya Flo looked at the booking record Thika had written this morning.

"Oh that hotel first, 'cause it's gonna be taken this afternoon."Thika replied while working on the hotel order.

"But it's already afternoon Thikaaa..." Said Flo reminding and thika just realized.

"Campus, the guy's coming in 10 minutes." Said Thika who had just seen the clock, FLo just shook his head because Thika today was very unfocused after receiving a call at lunch.

"Excuse me..." The voice of a man and Thika started to panic and looked towards that direction.

"Shanka.. what? I haven't come home from work." Thika asked as soon as she saw Shanka come in.

"Sheena... !!! Ahhh the handsome when did you come home?" Mala screamed glad to see her cousin's best friend here.

"Yesterday night, you work here too Mala?" Shanka and Mala asked with very wide smiles.

"Don't be flirty.." Tegur Thika because Mala is used to flirt in front of Shanka who has been her idol since childhood.

"I'm coming to take Raju's order.." Said Shanka and Thika just realized, yes Raju is the name that pesen her snack bouquet.

"Wait, I'll finish it again.just 10 minutes." Thika panicked and Shanka shook her head to see Thika's panic.

Flo even smiled at Shanka's good looks that he thought fit to be an actor, a model and what is important is famous.

After the bouquet was finished Thika handed it to Shanka without asking for what and who ordered it and why she took it, because in Thika's mind at this time it was very chaotic to think of something.
