Critical Time
Blood was still pouring from Meryn's stomach as Orlando carried her out of the club building where Javer was prostituted. Frantically Orlando held Meryn running towards the car.
“Meryn, hangin. I beg you, hold on.” Orlando nodded slowly to see the unconscious Meryn in his arms. They got into the car that Paulo was driving.
“To the hospital now! I won't forgive anyone until Meryn dies!” orlando shouted full of emotion. In the passenger seat he sat holding Meryn. His right hand pressed Meryn's stomach with his shirt cloth to prevent more blood from coming out. Meanwhile, Paulo drove the car at maximum speed.
At the same time as Paulo stepped on the accelerator in the car, the man pressed a button***** that he held in his left hand. Instantly, there was also a big explosion coming from the building of the club owned by Javer. It was part of the plan that Orlando made with Paulo. Where they put the ‘kelet’ bomb on the top floor of the building Javer building. That floor that was currently exploding and giving rise to a rumbling sound. Debris of the building fell along with Orlando's car that was walking away towards the hospital.

An hour has passed. There were still no good signs of the doctors who were operating on Meryn's stomach due to the shots he got from Jessica. The emergency operation is still under tension. Outside the door, Orlando waited full of panic. While hundreds of his men were on guard around the hospital, maintaining the safety of the hospital where the operation was carried out against Meryn.
“Who operates Meryn? Why so long?!” Impatiently, Orlando moved from the waiting chair in the operating room hallway. He looked at Paulo sharply and began to doubt the ability of the surgeon who was operating Meryn's body.
“He is Doctor Yanuer, one of the best doctors in the city, Boss. You need not worry,” replied Paulo calmly. Since having a bride-to-be, Orlando is often irrational.
“Review if Meryn doesn't survive! I killed everyone in the operating room. Everyone!” ketus Orlando's.
“You must be patient, Sir. Lately you often act irrationally.” Paulo.
Orlando silent. He re-thought his attitude. Then he sat back in the waiting room. He has lost a lot of things now. He lost the casino business his father had founded decades ago. And almost lost Meryn. If Meryn doesn't survive, Orlando's whole life won't be able to forgive himself. All this happened because of his mistake. Had he not been withered by Meryn's persuasion and allowed the woman to remain on a private island, Meyrn would have been fine and her casino business would have been fine. He's stupid. Orlando started to blame himself.
“You're right, I'm in charge of everything. Meryn should never have returned to Mylan. There are many people who are after him because of his bond with me.” After saying those few sentences, Orlando raised his gaze. He looked at Paulo who was looking at him seriously, as usual. “Now I have to give it all back. Meryn .. and my business.”
Right after that a doctor came out of the operating room. Hurriedly Orlando stood up from his seat and met the doctor who had finished Meryn's surgery.
“How are things, Doctor?” ask Orlando to panic.
“Operation is going well. But it's gonna be hard for Miss Meryn to recover like before. The bullets hit various vital organs. Miss Meryn will take a long time to recover,” explained the doctor.
Orlando's face furrowed furiously. “You've had a good operation, but why can't Meryn recover like before?” tusky.
“Bos, you calm down first,” jolts Paulo who immediately calms Orlando who looks angry at the explanation of the doctor.
“I mean, the bullets we have lifted and organ problems have also been handled well. But we can't be sure yet when Miss Meryn will be able to make it.” The doctor explained.
“Hah.” Orlando's long breath was heavily blown. His steps back to hear that the doctor could not be sure when Meryn would wake up. In his astonishment, Orlando stared at Paulo.
“How, Boss?” ask Paulo.
“Do as per our plan.”
“It was best for Meryn than she kept here and increasingly threatened,” Orlando replied straightforwardly.
“Good. I'll prepare the equipment.”

Things change when Meryn lies unconscious after a bullet penetrates her stomach. He was not sure how long he had been lying on this soft bed. But I don't think it's a short time.
On the bed, Meryn's eyes blinked. He is still lying limp with various media hoses that help optimize the performance of his organs. The surgical incision wound was dry for a few weeks ago, as well as the bruised former Javer chain was gone without leaving a mark. It has been a month since the day of the shooting. Meryn was taken back to the private island of San Dominic to get maximum care from the team of doctors who were here and to stay safe without any threat from Javer who was angry that day because of his part of the building it was destroyed by a bomb.
It was so rough that day. Two days after the operation, when Orlando had reopened the airstrip on his private island, Meryn was taken back to the island on a private jet with the full supervision of doctors. While Orlando lagged in Milan with Paulo to complete business affairs.
Two weeks later Orlando finally returned to this private island and looked at the state of Meryn who was still the same as at that time. Still lying unconscious with two doctors and three castle nurses guarding her.
Today Meryn begins to open her eyes after one week of her critical period. His eyeballs moved slowly behind the crackers. Slowly, he opened his eyes.
The doctor standing by her bed immediately examined Meryn's pupils after they opened. Meryn still doesn't know where she is. The last moment he remembered was when Orlando shouted his name as soon as he was shot by Jessica for blocking Orlando's body. He was still in the shelter at that time. And now, he wasn't sure where it was.
“Nona Meryn, you hear me? Try twinkling your eyes once if you hear me,” said the white-haired doctor.
Meryn blinked her eyes once, very slowly.
“Hh, thank goodness. You are already aware.” The doctor was slow.
Meryn is still trying to gather her consciousness. His eyes moved around. Look at the interior type of the room and also the gold-colored carvings that fill almost entirely. He knows this place for sure. Dominic Castle. Apparently he had been brought back to this place after he had painstakingly gotten out of here.
“Orlando ... where?” It was the first word that came out so softly from Meryn's mouth.
“He is still meeting virtual on the first floor. For a moment, I call.” The doctor said.
Meryn watched the doctor step out of her bedroom. He recalled that day, when he was confined to Javer's place. And all the facts he heard from the man. About his father, about the cruelty of the Patrizian family. Also about Henry and Jessica betraying him. All those facts were so bitter to Meryn. But not as bitter as he saw Orlando almost shot by his own best friend—traitor.
That day thoughtlessly Meryn blocked the shot from hitting Orlando's body. Only Orlando has Meryn. He knows who his father is and all the truth about Henry. Even his entire family no longer cared about him being just an adopted child. It needs Orlando to survive. He needs the man who knows all the ins and outs of his family, and even his identity as the daughter of a mobster.
Before long, Orlando walked into Meryn's room in a hurry. It seemed that the man left his meeting and immediately found Meryn who finally woke up after a month of unconsciousness. The man walked closer. Sit on Meryn's bed. Meryn looked enthusiastically and so warmly.
“Meryn, are you okay now?” the man clasped Meryn's left hand.
