“Bos, our cocaine container is being banned in the port.”
While listening to the report, Orlando was sitting sweetly on his chair. He looked at the financial statements that had just been submitted by the manager of one of the cocaine factories he managed.
“What do they want?” sahut Orlando's. As if he knew that the one who banned his cocaine in the harbor was the person who wanted a bribe.
“50,000 euros,” reports one of his subordinates standing across the table.
“Tell them 50,000 euros I sent to the port. And send my men there after taking the money in the emergency funding section,” explained Orlando without taking his eyes off the financial statements.
“Ready, Boss.”
After the subordinate left, Orlando took out a glass filled with espresso and sipped it slowly. Then the phone rings. He saw a name on the screen. It was the name of the bodyguard he was assigned to guard Meryn, because he knew Meryn wasn't safe here.
Without a second thought Orlando picked up the phone.
“Halo.”
[Boss, department. We accompanied Mrs Meryn to the spa salon. But Mrs Meryn did not come out even though it had been more than three hours. We asked the receptionist, she said Mrs Meryn had finished her spa an hour ago.]
Flinched, Orlando immediately stood on the spot.
“What did you say? That's why I told you to keep an eye on Meryn! How did he get out?! If something happens to her how?” Orlando shouted loudly in his quiet room.
[Ma .. sorry, Boss.]
“You should find Meryn. Whatever happens!” Orlando snapped even more. Then he turned off the phone in a hurry.
Panic was clearly visible on his face. He rested his hands on the glass table as his mind began to be troubled by worry. From the beginning he knew that Meryn would not be safe in Milan after the attack on the Leranzo family, who had been allied with the mob led by Javer. Not wrong anymore. It must be that old jackass who kidnapped Meryn
“Javer .. I kill you if I hurt Meryn just a little bit.” He muttered softly while imagining the face of Javer who likes to ensnare young girls for him to make prostitution slaves. “Agrevoking!”
Although he was a mobster, Orlando always condemned anyone who trafficked humans. He and his father were hostile to the Javer mafia group for this reason. Javer plays around with humans, even women and children. One of the dark businesses Javer has is trafficking human organs to city elites in need of donors. The mafia is like shit. Although Orlando's a mobster, but he's not playing around with human life. He only punishes those who deserve to be punished. Not punishing the innocent.
Feeling that he must find Meryn soon, Orlando immediately left his job at the office. He wears his suit which he hangs on an iron pole. Prepare weapons and bullets. Then he exited the office and saw Paulo walking towards him.
“Where to boss? The meeting with King Company will start soon,” greet Paulo who saw his boss seemed to be in a hurry to leave his room.
“... Get all the men to find Meryn right now. I know Javer's hideout. Chances are Meryn is there,” added Orlando as he continued to rush towards the elevator. Paulo followed the man.
“Where is it, Boss?”
“Place of prostitutes.” Orlando answered while getting into the elevator.
“If you deploy all troops to that place, it could be a war between two mafia camps will really happen. If so, there will be bloodshed, as it used to happen on the home page of Luca.” Paulo gives his assessment as a mafia adviser.
“I don't care! The important thing is Meryn survived.” Orlando snapped at Paulo who had been in the elevator with him. The elevator was taking them down from the twentieth floor to the lobby.
“Please consider again, Boss. Javer kidnapped Meryn for other reasons, not just revenge because you killed Henry Leranzo. You know, Javer wasn't ‘bet’ it was to avenge his ally. Must have wanted something from you, Boss. You need to find out more.” Paulo continued to argue. The man felt his boss was currently unable to think clearly because he was too worried about the fate of the woman he loved so much.
Inside the elevator Orlando fell silent. He listened to Paulo's explanation which seemed to make more sense than his crazy mind. How could he possibly be sane in a situation like this? Meryn is the woman she's wanted so much for since the shooting eighteen years ago. Since then he has been obsessed with Meryn, but is always hindered by his father's orders that want him not to fixate on women and learn to become an invincible mobster.
But, believe. The days he was never free from the shadows of that little green-eyed girl. He could not forget Meryn. And always dreamed about that girl. Until finally San Dominic, his father, approved his proposal to do business with the Patrizia family (who had taken Meryn from Luca). Finally a business deal was made. Meryn was handed over to Orlando as part of their business requirements. But who would have thought, it was precisely because of the deal that San Dominic was killed.
Orlando's father died at the hands of the Patrizia family who wanted more profit from the business deals the Dominic family made, more than they agreed. When the request was not approved by San Dominic, he was killed at the hands of John Patrizia. Orlando's father is finished off by Meryn's adoptive father who has given Meryn to him. Due to his carelessness about women, Orlando has lost a father. And he swore he would not waste his father's death. He has to get Meryn no matter what! Until finally he was willing to attack Meryn's marriage, kill John Patrizia and his wife, even kill Henry Leranzo who just want to use Meryn for business.
Getting Meryn was the hardest thing Orlando did. He sacrificed a lot for it. So, it is only natural that at this time to lose sanity. When the woman he so wanted to get and so hard to conquer was taken by a great enemy, he could not think clearly.
Paulo looked at his big boss who seemed to be pondering his explanation. He also immediately clicked, “I will send some men for you. You can pick up Mrs Meryn at Javer's. The rest, let me take care of it, Boss.”
Orlando just nodded small. More than anyone he knows Paulo is working very well since the leadership of the mafia is in the hands of San Dominic. Paulo is a consigliere who is very trusted by his father (because of that belief he got the title consigliere).
Right after that the elevator opens automatically after arriving at the basement floor. Orlando hurriedly exited towards his parked car at the end. When he opened his car door and was about to get in, his phone rang. He saw a picture message coming in from an unknown number. He opened the picture and saw Meryn being chained to her feet and hands.
Seeing that, Orlando grew even more furious. He got into the car while slamming the door. To start the car engine before an incoming call from an unknown number. He knows who's calling. And immediately pick up the phone.
“Do not touch my Meryn, or where your prostitutes will be detonated with a bomb,” Orlando replied furiously once the phone was connected. Anger ran all over his body. His face and ears were red with anger.
[You should be careful, Mr. Dominic. Your lover is in front of me now. If you don't keep your word, I won't hold back anymore. Your girlfriend's almost naked. Should I execute them?] Across the phone, Javer slammed.
“Civilized! Say you want!” shouted Orlando growled. If Javer was in front of him at this moment, he would have directly punched the old man in the head with a bullet.
[We need to negotiate. Come here in fifteen minutes. Look out. Just a minute late I'll strip this beautiful woman of yours.]
