Part 68 - An unexpected meeting

“And from now on, Raka, her family and her company, are under my supervision. I won't let anyone destroy my best friend. I will destroy anyone who touches Raka and her family. Cam it!”

Tommy's words at their last meeting, making Safira do not know what to do. Should he ignore it? Isn't that guy going back to London? It shouldn't be a matter of if he continues his plan to get Raka.

It was precisely this was a great opportunity for him to be able to have Raka forever. He doesn't have to go back to Tommy. So, he had a lifetime to be with Raka.

But Safira was still doubtful. Is it true that the warning Tommy uttered? Is it true that the man will continue to watch over Raka and her family?

“Alright, give me a few days time, I will transfer the shortcomings. But, please do the job tomorrow. I've wasted a month!” force Safira. But, the man refused Safira's request.

“I will do the job, once I receive the payment in full,” he said.

“You don't trust me? I must have paid it off. But, I ask for a few days just to find the rest of the money.”

“How can I trust Bu Safira? this is the first payment. And you promised me three payments. How can I be sure you can pay in the next term, if the first term only you can not pay?”

Safira stared resentfully at the man named David. It seems he needs help from his father to pay for his man.

Safira contacted his father, asking the man for some funds. However, it was not the money he got from his father. Sapphira even got a lot of ramblings from his father.

“Do work in the company. You've played a lot and wasted time. You should have come back to Tommy.”

That is the message of my father. His father even asked him to return to Tommy's arms.

“If you marry Tommy later, imagine what happens to our family company! Our company can get the project easily. In fact, our company will be the number one company in Indonesia!”

Safira just cut the phone call. The advice of his father was not at all liked. He won't be back with Tommy. After all, didn't Tommy himself say that the man no longer wanted him?

“Where else can I get that kind of money?” safira said to himself. The girl kept thinking all night. He thought it would go easy. If only his father would help him, it would be very easy. But his father was against him.

Safira could not sleep that night. Eventually, the girl found a way out.

Safira sells her luxury apartment estate. Even the fancy car. Due to her loneliness, the girl returned to her parents' home. And Safira also easily carried out his plan to have Raka.

The warning given by Tommy was ignored by him. For Safira, Tommy is just threatening because the man does not want him to have Raka.

“Why are you bringing a baby to work?” ask Tommy to Raka.

Raka, who still can't believe Tommy visited her, doesn't answer the man's question. Raka even forgot to allow Tommy to sit down. If it wasn't Qiana who asked the British man to sit down, Tommy might still be standing by now.

“I know, you must hate me. But, just so you know, Ka. I hated you first,” Tommy said with a laugh. Raka still looked at her former best friend with a flat gaze. The man still does not know what to do with people who secretly hate him, even to the point of making his father's company melt away.

“I won't apologize for what happened with your parents' company. You know, business is cruel. And the bankruptcy of your parents' company is due to your own carelessness.”

Qiana and Mika stared intently at Tommy when they heard the man's words. Tommy simply returned the sharp gazes of the two girls with a cynical smile.

“Justify if it is purely your fault for not being thorough and trusting others too much?”

Raka kept quiet. He still did not know how to respond to the speech after the words thrown by Tommy. Raka doesn't even know where the guy's talking is going?

“I hope, in the future, you are more careful of anyone. Even though you are very close to him. But, you don't worry. I no longer have any intention to destroy your company, Ka,”.

“And my husband will not be able to repeat the same mistake. I wouldn't let that happen either. So, if you want to try to go back to destroying my husband's business. Just please. I make sure it will not work,” stressed Qiana.

Tommy's gaze now turned to Qiana. Oh, Qiana. The girl had stolen Tommy's attention, at that time. Tommy smiled gently at his best friend's wife.

“After marriage and having children, you look more beautiful. If I had known you earlier than Safira,” said Tommy with a sweet smile.

Raka's eyes instantly rounded. The man who had been silent, now straightened his body and gripped tightly the collar of clothes worn by Tommy.

“Do not involve my wife in your revenge, Tom!”

Tommy laughed out loud. Vengeances. The word has disappeared from Tommy's heart. He no longer held a grudge against the man who was now tightly gripping his collar.

“Thank God because you're crazy about the right girl. Not like me. I've fallen in love with the wrong girl,” softened Tommy.

Tommy's words did not immediately make Raka release his grip.

“There is no more grudge in me, Ka. I no longer have a grudge against you. But maybe you're the one who's vengeful for me right now. Maybe I'm no longer your best friend, Ka. But, I hope we can still be friends and do business together,” said Tommy.

Raka let go of his grip. The man sat back in his place.

“I don't want to break my heart by keeping a grudge. But, I can no longer trust the person who once pretended to be my best friend,”. Tommy just smiled. The man said what he had to say.

Tommy straightened his body and said goodbye to Raka.

“You just calm down Ka. Just like your wife. I won't let a single person destroy your business back,” Tommy said.

“Your beautiful wife has really won my heart and shed that grudge.”

Raka was about to attack Tommy back, but Qiana held him back. Tommy also left the small shop while laughing out loud.

“What does he mean by constantly saying that you are beautiful?!” ketus Raka's.
