Part 46 - Sapphira

“Why didn't you come to my wedding with Qia?! You always tell everyone that we are friends. You know Qia well. What friend does not come at his best friend's wedding?!”

Raka, who was always cold and stiff with every woman, now asked Safira at length. Qiana can see how happy Raka's face was when she met Safira after they had not met for a year.

Qiana lowered her face. The girl felt that she should not be present in the midst of this pair of beautiful genius humans. Qiana's eyes were fixed on Sapphira's beautiful calf. “Honey, why? You tired?” ask Raka. Qiana looked up, looking at the husband who was embracing her affectionately.

“Why?” ask Raka again. The man spoke very softly to her. Raka even embraced him affectionately in front of Sapphira. The pain in Qiana's heart instantly faded due to the husband's treatment.

Qiana smiled and shook her head. “It's okay Mas,” he replied.

“Let's continue again, yes,” whispered Raka. Qiana's smile was getting louder. Enthusiastically the girl nodded her head.

“Eh, Qia. What is your gestational age for months?” ask Safira. Sapphira's words disperse a couple who looked at each other.

Qiana turned her head, looking at the face of the girl who had loved her husband. In fact, Qiana was still able to capture that radiance of love from Sapphira's eye bead.

There was actually an uneasy feeling in Qiana's heart. The girl used to call Sapphira as a prospective sister-in-law every time they met. But destiny says something else.

Raka nodded her head hearing Sapphira's words. Establishing cooperation with Techno is one of Raka's dreams since long ago. However, the process is difficult, making Raka swallow disappointment several times and have not had time to establish cooperation with the world-class company.

And as the conversation got serious, Raka invited Safira to sit down.

Raka's face looks very serious. To put it bluntly, the man was tempted by the offer Safira had uttered. The girl gave him the chance to make his dream come true.

Raka's face grew brighter. The man had already skimmed through some of the files Safira had brought.

“Tommy will send the full file to your email. You can learn it first if you are still in doubt,” Safira said.

Qiana looked at him for a moment. He had never seen Raka like this. Raka was always careful in her decisions. The man always read in detail every file he got.

But this time it was different. Raka looks rash. The man had not even read the full file of the cooperation. But, Raka had already taken the decision to participate in the project offered by Safira.

Is it because of Sapphira? Does the man trust Sapphira completely?

“You don't want to check the files first, Ka? There may be one or two things you don't fit in.”

“I trust fully with you, Fir!” Raka firmly.

Qiana's heart was torn to shreds by the man's words. How could her husband give her complete trust in another girl? Even if the girl is his best friend, but business is business? Why would a genius man like Raka ignore his logic in doing business just because of dealing with his best friend?

“I, you and Tommy, we have always worked together since the beginning of the internship. We already know what we like and dislike in business. I trust you guys. You offered me this project, for sure, because you believed that I would join, right? And I believe that all the cooperation files must be in accordance with my expectations,” explained Raka.

Safira smiled as she nodded her head.

“Next week Tommy will go to Indonesia together with the representative of the Techno group. We will directly sign the cooperation agreement.”

“I'm waiting for the good news, Fir. Kabari me. My number is still the same. You still keep it, right?”

“Of course Ka. Even though I never gave you news or asked for your news. But your name is always stored here,” Safira said as she showed her phone. Qiana immediately looked at Sapphira. While Raka just smiled to respond to the words of her best friend with a smile.

And from that day on, Raka and Qiana had to meet Safira every day. They talked a lot about the new project.

Qiana actually felt uncomfortable being between Raka and Sapphira. The girl's confidence instantly decreased when she saw Sapphira. Especially when looking at the interaction between Raka and Safira.

A pair of humans who expressed their relationship with the word friend, looks so harmonious. Their conversation looks serious. Raka and Safira seemed to enjoy the conversation.

Only Qiana continued to sit quietly there. Witnessing the closeness of the husband to another girl. Qiana's heart actually hurt a lot from having to witness that scene every day. But, the girl also can not let the husband just alone with his girlfriend.

However, Sapphira once harbored a taste for her husband. Although Raka admitted there had never been a relationship more than a friend with the girl, but Qiana did not want to take the risk. He did not want Raka to get as close to Sapphira as she used to be. Moreover, a loving gaze still radiated on Safira's eyes for Raka.
