“Do we really have to get married, Mas?”
The question that Qiana asked, made Raka again annoyed at the girl. Raka immediately took the medicine that was held by Qiana and put it back into the P3K box. The man then stepped on the accelerator, and launched his vehicle.
“Mas, Qia wants to get married once in a lifetime. Marriage is not a game, Mas.”
Raka pulled her vehicle back.
“Mas is up to you, Qi. If you do not want to continue this wedding plan, it's okay,” said Raka.
“Originally, you don't go back to that guy. He's not a good guy. He has a specific intention of approaching you. Sorry, Mas was late in collecting evidence.”
“Proof? What proof, Mas?” ask Qiana.
“Evidence if Albert approached you with a specific intent. He just wants shares of Bratajaya Corporation. They will show it to you. ”
Qiana lowered her head. “Mas need not show that proof. Qia would never go back to Albert. Qia hated him so much. He was already being brash on Qia.” minus the girl.
“Good,” said Raka.
Raka prepares to re-apply her vehicle. However, Qiana's question held him back.
“If Mas Raka himself how? Would you like to continue with this wedding plan?”
Raka let out a long breath. While grasping the steering wheel tightly, Raka looked straight ahead.
“Since the past, only Qia Mas wanted to be a companion of life Mas.”
Qiana was flabbergasted hearing Raka's words. The girl's body was even stiff for a moment.
“Meeting Mas don't think too much. If you don't want to continue this marriage, it's okay, Dek. Whatever makes you happy, do it,” said Raka.
The man turned his head, looking at Qiana who was sculpting. The top of Qiana's head.
“Now, we are back home huh. You just sleep if you are sleepy,” said Raka.
Qiana did not respond. The girl was still staring at Raka. In fact, after Raka had advanced her vehicle, Qiana still remained in her position.
The trip for almost three hours was filled only by silence. Both Raka and Qiana, tightly locked their mouths. In fact, Raka was reluctant to set music in the car, even if only to break the silence.
When they arrived in front of a mansion, Raka pressed the horn, then the gate of the mansion opened wide.
“Qia was afraid, Mas,” said Qiana, as the car driven by Raka entered the luxurious gate.
“It's okay, Qi. Everything is very worried about you,” said Raka.
“Come, we're down.”
Heavily, Qiana stepped her foot out of the vehicle. Raka was already standing right beside Qiana, when the girl had just got out of the car.
“It's okay. It's already midnight. It could be that Uncle Ivan and Aunt Qei have rested in their room,” Raka said when she saw Qiana's tense face.
Qiana exhaled a heavy breath. The girl knew it was impossible. Both parents will never be able to sleep if one of their children has not returned home.
Qiana knew, Qeiza would definitely rampage at him. How not? He lied to his mother. He even lied to his entire family to run away with his girlfriend.
If he had listened to what Sean said, he probably wouldn't have done this ridiculous thing. His wedding plan with Raka, definitely would not be tarnished by this act of escape.
Qiana kept her feet. The girl tried to align her steps with Raka. Qiana did not know what to react to, if her mother ran amok with her. Unlike when Qeiza accused him of teasing Raka, this time she was completely guilty. There was no reason for him to fight his mother.
Raka had not been able to press the bell, the door of the luxurious house was open. Qeiza and Ivander appear behind it.
“Qia!” pekik Qeiza's.
Hearing the mother's booming voice, Qiana stepped aside. The girl hid herself behind Raka's body. Seeing that, Raka smiled faintly.
“Mama and Papa aren't angry, Honey,” Ivander said.
Although Ivander spoke very softly, Qiana still did not dare to show herself. The girl continued to hide behind Raka's body.
“Honey, let's talk to Qia. He must be afraid you're upset,” Ivander ordered. Qeiza was silent for a moment.
“He just feels guilty. He knew his actions were wrong. Mama's guess is right?”
Although she was invisible to Qeiza and Ivander because she was standing right behind Raka's body, Qiana nodded her head.
Raka glanced back. Nodding Qiana's head felt on her back. The man smiled back. Qiana, that girl has always been adorable. That's how Raka thinks.
Seeing Qiana taking shelter behind her body, Raka promises herself that she will be a protector for the girl, forever.
“Qia nodded, Tan,” Raka said in a slightly whispered voice. Qeiza just nodded her head.
“Once, in. It's past midnight. You rest,” said Qeiza.
The middle-aged woman held the husband's arm and walked away leaving Raka and Qiana still standing in the doorway.
“Mama and Papa you're gone. You can come out of hiding,” lirih Raka.
But, Qiana still did not move from there. The girl even wrapped her hands around Raka's waist.
Qiana's actions certainly made Raka aghast. The man's heart was beating too fast.
“Mas ... About the wedding plan...”.
“Have Deck, I know that your love is not for Mas. Its alright. Although disappointed, but not angry. We know that love cannot be forced. You have the right to choose the choice that makes you happy.”
“During this, Mas always make Qia happy. They are always there whenever Qia needs them. Mas can always protect Qia,” Qiana said.
Raka's heart was pounding even more and almost jumped out hearing the girl's words. The night wind was not even able to dry the sweat that appeared on Raka's forehead. From Qiana's words, it seemed like the girl would accept herself as a future husband. Raka was so confident. Qiana would definitely not cancel that wedding. Qiana must be willing to be his wife. Two more days, the sacred promise of marriage must have been spoken aloud at Qiana's side.
But, Qiana's subsequent remarks shattered Raka's confidence.
“Sorry that Qia cannot repay Mas Raka's love. Though so far— since Qia small until now— only Mas Raka is always there for Qia. Only Mas Raka was the man who looked after Qia. But ... I don't know why this heart still can't open for Mas. Sorry Mas.”
Raka. The heart that was about to jump out, now almost stopped beating.
“Qia want, Mas. Qia willing to be the wife of Mas Raka.”
