23. Prospective In-laws

"How's the decoration?" Rainun asked who was approaching Sakha.

"Eighty percent" answered Sakha.

"Nih coffee" Rainun said, handing Sakha a bottle of bottled coffee.

"Thank you" he answered. He just holds it yet intends to open the bottle.

"You look pale brother" said Rainun who looked at Sakha's face. He then held Sakha's forehead to check her temperature.

"You have a fever" Rainun said.

"I'm fine. Just a little unwell" answered Sakha.

"Have you had breakfast?" Rainun asked a little worried. Sakha just shook her head.

"Past standing. Let's have breakfast" Take Rainun to Sakha who is sitting on the wooden chair under the tree.

"Later on" answered Sakha.

"Let's hurry. You should take your medicine afterwards" Rainun ordered. He then pulls Sakha's body heavy enough for him.

"Uuuhhh, come on, brother. I'm not strong if I have to carry you. Your condition will deteriorate. Tomorrow is the wedding day of Sofia's brother and sister" said Rainun who exerted all her energy pulling Sakha to stand up from her seat.

Sakha smiled seeing Rainun's attention and effort. He deliberately held his seat as Rainun pulled his hand.

"All right" said Sakha, standing up and following Rainun's steps towards the restaurant between the hotel buildings.

"What do you want to eat?" Rainun asked Sakha who directly sat her body on the chair. His body felt a little weak.

"I'm not tasteful" Sakha replied, cupping her face which was starting to feel hot.

"I'll get you some porridge" Rainun then went to pick up the chicken porridge on the buffet menu.

Before long, Rainun returned with a bowl of porridge and a glass of warm water.

"Eat. I'll take the medicine in my room for a while" Rainun said.

Rainun then walked towards the room. Sakha scooped up the porridge Rainun had picked up lazily. Before long, Rainun had returned with drugs. He sat down in front of Sakha.

"What are you doing? Why isn't the porridge decreasing?" Omel Rainun's.

"It's diminished. I've eaten a few spoons" Sakha replied.

"Well, you eat a lot. Don't be like this" Rainun then took a spoon from Sakha's hand and fed it so that Sakha quickly finished her porridge. Sakha happily accepted every mouthful from Rainun to rest the bowl of porridge.

"Wah wow. What sight was this morning? Why are you feeding this giant baby?" Ask Sofia who just entered the restaurant.

"Your sister is sick. But he won't eat sister" Rainun told Sofia. Sofia then holds Sakha's forehead, checking her sister's body temperature.

"You really are sick. Okay, continue then. I'll leave my sick sister to you. Please take care of her huh Rai" Sofia said with a wry smile. He then walked to the table to choose a breakfast menu.

"Ahh this Sofia. Don't tease me like that. I'm just helping these sick people" Rainun said. Sofia just chuckled at Rainun's exclamation.

"I am first. I'll eat in the room" said Sofia.

"All right" replied Rainun.

"Look at that giant baby well" Sofia chuckled.

"Just calm. I'm used to babysitting" replied Rainun jokingly.

"Nih take his medicine" ordered Rainun who is now sitting next to Sakha. Sakha then took the medicine and finished the warm water in front of her.

He then placed his head on Rainun's shoulders.

"Eh, what's up? Is your head hurting?" Tanya Rainun's.

"No. Shut up I want to be like this for a second" said Sakha who closed her eyes.

"All right" replied Rainun. He then quietly let Sakha borrow his shoulder. His heart beat so fast that he wanted to be dislodged. Meanwhile Rainun plays the phone to relieve the pounding on her chest.

It had been twenty minutes that Sakha had fallen asleep on Rainun's shoulders.

"Sister, you better rest in your room" Rainun said patting Sakha softly. He felt bad with the resto staff as well as the WO team who had been watching them.

"Alright" said Sakha who immediately woke up. He was then helped by Rainun.

"Where are you going?" Ask Sakha.

"I'm going to the room to clean things up. Then we move to homestay. The staff said they would take care of my room for tomorrow's guests" Rainun replied. Sakha nodded in understanding.

"Thank you for taking care of me" Sakha said as she walked. Rainun just nodded her head. They then went back to their own rooms.

His afternoon....

"Welcome, ma, pa. Om, auntie" Welcomed Raihan when he saw the prospective in-laws and to the two Sakha parents arrived, he then greeted the four. Raihan has also met Sakha's parents.

"Where are the others?" Ask mama Sofia.

"Rainun and Sofia are at the homestay while Sakha is resting at her penthouse" Raihan replied.

"Tumben once he sleeps at this hour" said Sakha's mother.

"Yes aunt. She wasn't feeling well" Raihan replied. "Mama, papa, om and aunt want to rest immediately or want to relax first?" Ask Raihan.

Bell's voice wakes Sakha from her sleep. After a long sleep, he felt better.

Sakha opened the penthouse door.

"How are you boy" said Papi Sakha when he saw his son.

"I'm good pi. Mommy and papi how's it going?" Sakha hugged her parents.

"We're good boys" answered his mother.

"When did you guys get there?" Ask Sakha.

"just now. Raihan said you're not well?" Ask mami.

"Hm. Now I'm better" answered Sakha. They sat on the sofa.

"So this is the resort you bought?" Ask papi Sakha.

"Hm. How's it?" Ask Sakha.

"Pretty good. What have you done?" Ask papi Sakha.

"Lumayan has a lot to fix. I just built a homestay near the pier" Sakha replied.

"Where are visitors here?" Ask her again.

"It's been quite crowded and it's been getting crowded the last month" Sakha replied. His papi nodded - nodding in understanding.

"You rest here. I'll move to a homestay" Sakha said.

"Alright boy" answered his mother.

In the evening, the four parents gathered on the terrace of the restaurant after dinner and went around looking at Sakha's resort. They relax and talk.

"The resort is amazing. Sakha's choice is always right" said Papa Sofia.

"Yes, you know for yourself that Sakha is calculating" he said.

"Rubber. She's just like you" said Sofia's father who made them chuckle together.

"Hi ma, pa, om aunt" Sapa Sofia looked at the four old men who were joking.

"Hi dear" replied Mama Sofia.

"It seems so exciting" said Sofia.

"You know, son, we haven't been together like this for a long time" said Sofia.

"Come Raihan, Sofia. Sit down with us" take Papa Sofia.

"Where is Sakha?" Ask mama Sofia.

"He was at the homestay" answered Raihan.

"Has she had dinner?" Ask mami Sakha.

"Not aunty. He'll be here soon for dinner" Sofia replied. They then continued the conversation. Occasionally laugh with a joke - a little joke.

Shortly thereafter....

"Mi, pi, om, aunt" Sapa Sakha who came with Rainun.

"Hay boy's. Is this the future wife you're gonna introduce us to?" Ask Papi Sakha directly when he sees Sakha coming with the girl behind him.

"Beautiful girl would-be mamma" Sakha's mom said next.

Everyone there was flabbergasted except mami and Papi Sakha who did not know Rainun. Since they had not met Rainun nor had they ever known that Raihan had a younger sister.

"Mmm it's pi" Sakha replied confusedly as she looked at Rainun. Rainun's face looked red.

"Come boy. Meet all of us" Pinta papi Sakha.

"Mmm pi, mi, she's actually Raihan's bang sister" Sakha explained.

Now replace the mami and papi Sakha who were flabbergasted because they thought Rainun was Sakha's lover.

"Oh I'm sorry son, we thought you were Sakha's lover" Papi Sakha felt bad. Rainun smiled hearing the apology from Sakha's papi.

"Mmm well maybe this is the right time for me to express my feelings to this girl next to me" Sakha said. He then faced Rainun.

"Rai, I've been harboring feelings since I first met you. The more I get here, the more comfortable I feel with you. My longing is hard when I don't see you. I want to be around you, take care of you, protect you all my life. I don't know how you feel when you're around me. I hope you feel comfortable when you're near me." Sakha. Then he took a long breath.

"In front of my parents and your brother I want to ask you to be my lover. Will you be my lover and the one who will accompany me both joy and sorrow? I can't promise much, which is clear I will always try to make you happy" Sakha said sincerely.

Not only the family, all the WO staff and crew who were having dinner were glued to Sakha who was expressing her feelings.

Rainun closed her eyes, feeling the pounding of her heart so intensely. He then opened his eyes and looked into the eyes of the man he also liked in front of him. He seeks lies there but all he gets is a radiance and hope from Sakha's eyes.

Everyone there also felt the tension Sakha felt. They were all pounding waiting for the answer from Rainun.
