13. Cocoa

That afternoon Raihan, Sofia and Rainun were already in the hotel lobby for checkout.

"You're going home yet?" Sakha asked who just got off her penthouse.

"Yes" answered Sofia listlessly. "Actually I still want to take a vacation, but tomorrow is Monday. A busy schedule awaits" he continued.

"You're not coming home?" Ask Raihan to Sakha.

"Maybe the day after tomorrow. Because I have to keep an eye out for some improvements here" Sakha replied.

"Alright if that's what we are first" Pamit Raihan.

"Yes, be careful" said Sakha.

Raihan, Rainun and Sofia walk towards the car parked in the hotel courtyard. While Sakha headed to the beach to check the work of her staff this morning.

The vibrating sound of the phone distracts Rainun from the pile of paper before her. Unknown number sends a message.

[When are you going to visit a cocoa farmer?] fill that message.

Rainun smiled as she read her message. "It turns out that mister rancid contact directly. I thought her secretary would tell me. Where did she get my contact? What of Brother Sofia" He's monologuing.

[At ten I'll visit the cocoa farmer. Come to my office if you want to come along] Rainun replied to the message.

"Why are you smiling when you see a cell phone?" Tegur Toni is watching Sakha.

"Clean my schedule today. I'll be out at nine past thirty" Sakha told the secretary in her room.

"But you have an important meeting after lunch" the secretary replied.

"Let Toni alone represent" said Sakha.

"Alright sir" said the secretary.

"Where are you going boss?" Ask Tony who is next to him.

"I'm going to visit the cocoa farmer" Sakha replied.

"Are we getting a cocoa delivery request?" Ask Toni

"Yes. My client in Australia asked us to export cocoa there" Sakha said.

"Who are you going to go with? Didn't you bring your staff? tumben once you visit the farmer in person" asked Toni who was still astonished.

"I'll go with a representative from RR Exporters" Toni just gave a smile understanding of the boss's true purpose.

"Alright it looks like you have to go alone. There will be someone who will accompany you" said Toni mengeledek the leader.

Sakha does not think Toni's words and is busy completing the files she has to sign.

"It's ten o'clock. Why hasn't he come yet?" Rainun Gumam.

"Sister Rai, are you going to review the cocoa farmers?" Tanya Indah who saw her superior in the loby.

"Yes" he answered somewhat.

"Who will stand by you?" Ask Beautiful again.

"It looks like Surya mas who will come" replied Rainun while looking at the parking lot.

"Who are you looking for? Isn't Surya still in his room?" Tanya Beautiful who also dyed.

"I'm waiting for Surya" replied Rainun.

Surya who saw Rainun with Sakha then approached.

"Sorry Rai, I can't come. Because you have to visit the UMKM production house. You two go" said Surya lying. It was like knowing the meaning of Sakha's arrival. Where possible a CEO of a large company will go alone just to review the farmer. That's what Surya thought.

"Isn't there no schedule of production house visits today?" Rainun asked, frowning.

"I'll drive myself. Don't worry, I'm used to it" said Sakha. Rainun just scrunched her forehead and followed Sakha without commenting anymore.

It had been thirty minutes of travel but they were silent. There is no conversation between them. They only listen to the music played by Sakha from the beginning of the journey.

"Is it a long journey?" Tanya Rainun opened the chat.

"There are still about thirty minutes left according to the maps" Sakha replied. Rainun just nodded his head.

"Okay, my throat is dry. Why didn't I bring you a drink" Inner Rainun. Sakha glanced at the woman next to her who looked agitated.

"What's wrong? Are you thirsty? We'll stop for a while at the mini market up ahead. I don't have a stock of drinks in the car" Sakha said as if she could read Rainun's mind. Rainun who heard Sakha's words was shocked.

"Well! Can he read my mind?" Inner Rainun again. Before long, they arrived at a mini market.

"Let's wait here, I'll buy a drink" Sakha said and got out of the car. After ten minutes of waiting, Sakha returned to the car with a bag of groceries.

"Here drink" Sakha gave Rainun a bottle of cold mineral water after putting a bag of groceries in the back row. Not forgetting he gave the bottle that he had opened before so Rainun had no trouble opening it. Sakha also placed some snacks near them.

"Thank you" Rainun said. He opened the bottle easily. "The attitude is really sweet" Inner Rainun. A faint smile emerged from his lips.

They then continued their journey until they reached a rocky fork on the mountain slope.

They follow the map's instructions to turn left. Travel with a rocky road this time.

Sakha then stopped her car at the house referred to by Rainun. They both came down and were greeted by two cocoa farmers who were waiting on their bikes.

"Where are we going, sir?" Tanya Rainun after meeting the two farmers.

"We're going to the pendopo on top of the ma'am. Where we keep the crops" replied the farmer

"Can't you access it by car?" Ask Sakha.

"Can't sir. Pendopo is in the middle of a cocoa farm that can only be reached by motorcycle or bicycle" explained the farmer. "The car will be safe here" he continued.

They finally headed to the cocoa farm on two motorcycles driven by cocoa farmers. On the way they were treated to a view of the expanse of cocoa trees that bear fruit. After traveling for five minutes by motorbike, they finally arrived at a large pendopo where farmers gathered.

"Welcome sir, ma'am" Welcomed the leader of the farmer group who was waiting. "How was your trip? Was he lost?" Next chattering.

"Alhamdulillah smoothly and do not get lost because the driver is very reliable to read the location on the map" said Rainun chuckled while patting Sakha's arm. Sakha only smiled awkwardly because she did not expect to be called a driver by Rainun.

"We should have lunch first while chatting casually before we look at the plantation" said the father.

The two of them only complied without comment because honestly they also felt hungry because they had traveled quite a long way with the terrain they were not used to.

There the farmers' mothers have prepared rice liwet with a variety of appetizing side dishes. They sat down and ate together.

"Monggo enjoy. Sorry for being sober" said the mother and wife of the head of the farmer group.

"It's more than enough ma'am. Thank you very much, sorry for being troublesome" Rainun said.

Rainun took the plate and scooped the rice onto it.

"You want some more?" Tanya Rainun's. He looked at Sakha who was beside him. Sakha looked surprised because she did not expect Rainun to take food for her.

"Maybe a little more" replied Sakha smiling.

"What side dish do you want?" Rainun asked who turned back towards Sakha.

"Burning the chicken. Please give a little sambal too" said Sakha. Rainun took what Sakha asked and gave it to Sakha. Then Rainun took food for her.

"Are you husband and wife?" Ask a mother who is next to Rainun.

"Oh no ma'am, this is my colleague. CEO of Hendrawan's Company" Rainun said, pointing at Sakha with her thumb. The mother who did not understand the intention of the CEO just nodded and smiled.

They enjoy the dishes provided while chatting casually. After finishing eating and resting for a while, the farmer's father invited them to start looking at the plantation and the harvest.

"It's best to use these boots, sir, ma'am. Because the road is a little slippery and muddy because it rains last night" said a father who brought two pairs of boots.

They looked around starting from the cocoa beans that were still wet and dried. The seeds that have been cleaned are placed in a large warehouse near the pendopo. The mood was low boisterous as they occasionally threw jokes.

Then they went to the cocoa farm. Look at some farmers who are harvesting cocoa. But suddenly the rain fell which made them confused because they did not bring umbrellas or raincoats.
