A week before the wedding.

Melia was surprised to see the existence of Fahri who suddenly existed in the same place where he was at this time.

"Pak Fahri" he said.

"Get in, I'll drive you home!" it sounded like he was giving orders.

"No, I can go home alone" said Melia, who was uncomfortable.

He continued to walk through the streets that began to be quiet because it was late at night.

Shortly after, his phone rang. As Melia realized Erlan's name on her phone screen, her wiggle quickly shifted the green button to answer.

"Melia, I didn't mean to leave you. It's for our own good" said one man across the phone, sounding reassuring.

"Keep saying? You're hurting me, Erlan," said Melia, chiming in with Erlan's words, who was still trying to convince her that she had left before.

"I promise to come when you need to. But this time, let me go quietly. I love you, Melia." Erlan closed her cell phone unilaterally.

However, Melia's steps finally came to a halt when she realized the car Erlan was driving had been waiting for her on the shoulder of the road.

That time, Melia no longer thought long. His anger was even removed. Maybe in just a matter of seconds, he immediately rushed over and approached Erlan who was also standing waiting for him while extending a hand.

Melia got into Erlan's car, and the young man drove her home.

"Melia, aren't you going home to your parents? Rather than here, you're lonely if I'm not around" Erlan said as the two reached a mansion in the elite.

"I want to be independent. Besides this is also my home, despite the father's gift," said Melia who still put her face bent.

"Melia, promise yes .. wait for me to come back. It won't be long, I love you, Melia," Erlan said in the end.

During this time the two are just like a pair of friends who care for each other without any clarity of relationship.

"Promise is always the news, yes!" pinta Melia with a clear look.

Erlan agreed. Finally, that night they parted well. The quarrel that originally had made a sense of anxiety erupted, gone already.

Two weeks later, Melia went through the days without Erlan. Now her day seems empty. No more friends who understand and want to hear his complaints.

Usually, every day the young man was always there to accompany when Melia came home from work. Hearing Melia's rant about complaints about work has become a habit.

However, this time the girl could only keep her own vexation without being able to tell anyone.

Calling Erlan was only when urgent, because the young man reportedly has a busy increasingly dense.

Melia was sitting daydreaming alone during her lunch break. All the friends in the room with him had gone for lunch somewhere. Only he was left in the room.

Shortly after, Fahri stepped closer to him while thrusting his phone towards Melia. Making the girl tremble with a moody lips while her eyes widened.

"Dad you called. I'm talking important." Fahri directly put his cellphone in the ear of his interlocutor.

"Hello," said Melia.

However, it was not the voice of the father that he heard. Except for her mother's soft voice. Making the girl even more confused and surprised.

"sick! Oh, i-yes. Melia's coming home now" said Melia who immediately returned Fahri's phone without closing the phone first.

"Sir, I'm a permit. This time, please don't be angry. My father is sick, sir." Melia spoke while crying until as much as she pleased.

Because the phone line has not been closed by Melia. So before answering Melia's permission request, Fahri continued the chat with a little away.

As for Melia, that girl doesn't rub anything anymore. He rushed to clean up his desk then with a half-run step he shouted as it flashed in front of Fahri's workroom. Impressed as being disrespectful, indeed.

"I'm saying goodbye!" shout Melia.

"Hey, wait," Fahri said as he waved his hand.

Unfortunately Melia did not care and just kept passing by.

Now Melia has arrived at the hospital where her father was treated, after a long journey by train to change into an online taxi.

The steps changed slowly. His heart seemed to be beating faster than usual.

From behind the glass window. He could see the condition of the father who was lying weak, with some medical equipment stuck and some others attached to his body.

Unbearable. Of course, that sense is what a princess feels when she sees the father she has long left in a sad condition.

Moreover, reportedly, Melia went to work to leave the house because she avoided the arranged marriage that had been arranged by her father.

Although he had previously left with anger, but seeing the condition of his father who had looked wrinkled in some parts of his face that still looked handsome was certainly very sad and injured.

"Melia, why don't you come in!"

A middle-aged woman who still looks beautiful immediately scattered and welcomed by opening the door for her daughter.

The two hugged each other to miss. Making the father who had fallen asleep finally opened his eyes as well.

"Melia," call Mr. Haris.

His name is Haris Kristanto, the owner of a famous tea plantation and also some culinary businesses in the area.

The middle-aged man was apparently trying to sit and lean in his weak body condition.

Of course Melia and her mother immediately ran closer and also swiftly arrange a pillow for Mr. Haris to use to lean.

"Melia, I've been like this. This time you do not avoid. After all, you have not been able to prove that you can find your own prospective husband who is more worthy and appropriate than the father's chosen husband," said Mr. Haris with an agitated look mixed with grimacing to endure pain.

"Dad, discuss Melia's problem later. The most important thing now is Dad's health" said Melia gave advice.

"Dad not calm, Nduk. Before you meet your future choice. If you disagree after meeting, think again. At least, meet him first, yeah! It's for dad's sake" asked Haris with a pleading gaze.

"But Melia has her own choice, Dad," Melia refused to be forced.

He still remembered how he and Erlan had made the promise.

"Look, I want to meet the man of your choice right now. Can you?"

Mr. Haris cast his most serious gaze. I don't know what he was thinking until he urged Melia like that.

"And if Melia doesn't make it to Melia's chosen man now ...."

Not yet had the girl continue her words, but Mr. Haris who looked upset immediately chimed in.

"Will or not you have to accept this man your father chose, son!"
