Dusk sullen bias lurks, like an aging mega. No longer bright, only pitch-black as far as the eye can see.

The day has changed the night. Some of the lights have even been turned off. Not many people still live there. Only a few building guards and one of the cleaning services that is a residence permit to stay in the office.

That night, Melia Stone just finished working on the design requested by Fahri. Seemed before him Fahri was still busy and indifferent.

However, Melia still rushed to tidy up her belongings because by chance she was forced to finish her work in Fahri's room.

"Where are you going? Meet your boyfriend?" Fahri asked with his gaze still fixed on the monitor screen in front of him.

"This has nothing to do with work, so I don't have to answer," Melia's only sniff.

Fahri's eyes moved from the monitor screen to the beautiful face of the owner of the voice. Next to his eyebrows rose, as if to give a sign that he did not like to be underestimated.

"Anything related to you will be a matter of course later, Melia. Go home! After all you are not a child to watch out for." Fahri turned off his computer.

Just like Melia, she was ready to go home. I don't know because I'm upset, maybe. Until he went ahead of Melia. Leaving the girl in the now-silent building gripped.

Melia finally walked while circulating her gaze around the room holding back her fear.

Even occasionally he had to look back just to make sure if he was really safe, the situation continued even until he finally arrived on the ground floor.

Arriving in the parking lot. He was surprised to see Fahri still sitting nailing in his car.

"Need a ride?" tanya Fahri.

"No. I've booked a taxi online," Melia refused as she passed.

While Fahri continued to look at him, he could only shake his head while hitting the wheel as an expression of his annoyance.

"Damn! Dare to refuse my invitation," he grumbled.

Time has passed. It was getting late, but Melia was not a woman who broke her promise.

The girl still went to a cafe that was only about three kilometers from the distance of the office where she worked.

A simple cafe subscription, with a variety of dishes and snacks are always ordered by Erlan in advance while waiting for the arrival of Melia.

"Hey, it's been a while! It's almost cold, coffee. Sorry, I ordered first. I know that you must be tired. How's it? Your boss is still fierce?" greet at once asked Erlan to pick up Melia who had just arrived.

The young man seemed to be swiftly dragging the chair for Melia to directly sit nearby. Yep. Since they were in elementary school, the two have been best friends.

Until without them knowing, both become more attention as time goes on. Erlan was a kind-hearted young man who despite being from among the crowd but his appearance was never excessive.

Oh yes, Erlan is a nerd but her appearance remains fashionable. Although she was loved by many women, but not a single woman managed to approach her, except Melia.

"Still, much more song. Just now he asked me to redesign a picture of a property I've been working on in a week. What does the shadow look like. Lan, it doesn't feel like I'm working in that place" Melia complained with her lips forward.

Patiently, Erlan listened while propping up her head with one hand she looked at Melia with a shady look.

"If it is not strong .. yes, do not be forced. Slowly look for another workplace," said Erlan.

"I need proof, Lan. My father just gave me a little time to prove that I'm not a spoiled child. I have to give you proof to be independent" Melia said.

"Let my father stop setting me up with his chosen men. If I can give you proof, I promise you I'll give you a close leeway with anyone I want" Melia said.

"Hopefully be successful, then." The faint smile on Erlan's cheeks faded away.

Melia realized, now the two exchanged looks. As if today something sad is going to happen.

Suddenly suddenly quiet. Both of them were silent while staring at each other.

"Melia," call Erlan to throw the girl's daydream in front of her.

"Yes." Yeah."

"I'm asking you to meet, because there's something important I want to talk about. Hopefully after this, you'll be fine here. Keep up the spirit, the work. Don't overload with someone who might ruin your mood at work," Erlan said as she stroked the back of Melia's tan palm perched on the table.

Even Melia who was shocked, her gaze immediately turned to Erlan's hand. A young man who has been arguably already a trash can complained.

Melia's face finally changed pias, along with her movements pulled her palm quickly.

"What's up, Lan?" tanyanya, put on an anxious expression.

"I want to go far, abroad to help my uncle, as well as study business. This is my only chance. I hope you are not sad. Or feel lost. I'm still there, Melia. Only our distance separates" Erlan said.

"should?"

"Yes, you know not. All this time I've always been considered insolvent, and compared to my brother. I hope you understand. This is my dream, Melia." Erlan gently stroked the top of the girl's head before him.

"Why the hell now, Lan? I'm in need of you. I was confused by my situation and you left!" hissing Melia.

I don't know what is underlying his feelings, could it be that he is used to Erlan's presence which makes him feel comfortable. Until Melia is not willing and her heart is sad when she knows she will be abandoned.

Erlan did not answer again. Only a shady and sad look was drawn from the water of his face.

"You even know, I haven't had any friends all this time, Lan. Only thou. Hiks .. hiks." The clear thread from his originally blocked eye patch was flowing profusely.

Erlan. He could only stand still and freeze looking at her.

"Lan, can I not be selfish? I want you to cancel your departure!" exclaim Melia urged.

"Sorry, Melia. I can't. My dream. There will be no second chance. You don't know what my family is like" Erlan always chimed in and then stood up and left.

That night, which was plastered on the face of ayu Melia was the face of a man who was heartbroken.

I don't know why, it felt like he was betrayed. There is a sense of inadmissibility mixed with grief.

I don't know how many minutes he just sat quietly crying over Erlan's departure. Until finally he realized he was up and running to find Erlan's whereabouts.

"Erlan," he called out as Erlan's sports car sped past him.

Either do not know the existence of Melia, or a coincidence. Erlan didn't even look when she passed the girl.

"Melia, it's night. Why are you crying alone?"

Fahri's baritone voice made Melia who was still crying turn to him.
