Chapters 19. When Love Becomes Revenge

Fahri then decides to reunite Melia with Erlan and help her solve this problem. He goes on a search and leaves for a remote area where Erlan lives.

After a long journey, Fahri finally managed to find Erlan. He gives Melia and Erlan the opportunity to talk and solve the problems between them.

That day, the weather was very hot. A car driven by Fahri and Melia comes to a halt in a village near the mountains.

Although the weather is hot, but the cold still feels dominating. With a pair of trembling legs, Melia finally ventured down from the car.

Seemed in a simple house, Erlan was busy talking with some villagers around.

Instantly Melia's courage sluggish. Seeing his wife's footsteps stalled, Fahri tried to take over. He who could not wait even stifled a long way ahead of Melia, approached Erlan.

"Erlan," said.

Making the plain man who had now turned stubborn was reflexively turning his head in shock.

"What else?" The young man tried to be indifferent.

Fahri is getting closer, even his existence is able to steal the attention of the villagers. A few pairs of eyes were on him, as if wanting to ask what was really going on?

Fahri sighed for a moment, before finally deciding to start the conversation.

"I'm with Melia, she wants to talk. Please take some time, it doesn't take long. And then we'll go."

Fahri immediately turned around and sauntered away after explaining the intention of his arrival to the place, without waiting for Erlan's answer first.

There was a streak of anger, resentment and disappointment held on his face.

Meanwhile, Erlan immediately asked permission for the surrounding community to give a moment because there were guests waiting for him.

Erlan smiled bitterly when the distance was not far from Melia. While the beautiful woman in front of him, actually stepped even though impressed doubtful.

"Follow me!" erlan's orders.

The young man stepped in with both hands that he purposely hid on either side of his pants pocket. New style, as if wanting to imitate the cold gesture that her brother often shows.

Erlan walked quickly, away from the gathering of villagers and also Fahri. Right behind her, Melia stepped quickly, tailing trying to keep up.

Both were seen walking up a hill. Just below the shady tree and also the verdant grass both stopped. A large dry wooden trunk located just below the shade tree is what they deliberately choose as a seat to talk seriously.

Melia's face looks stiff. As if giving an uncomfortable impression in front of Erlan. Implied a message that he wanted to say something important.

"Melia, I don't have much time to mince words. I have a new project of my own in this place. Building a more decent dwelling for the surrounding community. Maybe, it will make me more useful than hope for the uncertain," Erlan said.

"Good then. Now I know that from the beginning you were just messing with our relationship."

Melia spoke in a high tone of emphasis.

"Why Fahri, why is it my brother that you made the choice," Erlan accused with a hateful look mixed with anger.

"I don't know, Erlan. Even Fahri does not know if we know each other" explained Melia.

Although he was the one who felt most disappointed, but he tried to improve things.

"Don't you feel weird getting married to my sister? Don't you feel guilty for me? Fuckin' ugly! You said he was a shitty boss, so why would you marry him? Less is enough, everything I've done so far" Erlan said.

Melia cried silently hearing all of Erlan's accusations.

"Maybe we're not a soul mate, Erlan. From now on, I want us to split up nicely without any burden. I fell in love with him, so forget about me from now on. And I will forget you too. Sorry ...."

Melia immediately stepped away, but deftly Erlan held down next to her arm. The young man's finger book gripped firmly. Makes Melia stunned by her behavior.

"I don't accept all this. If the man you married was not Fahri .. but unfortunately you made the wrong choice Melia," continued Erlan.

I don't know what that means.

"What makes you mad, Erlan? Fahri and I love each other, why are you hurting? Didn't you want this to happen? You even ignored my plea to see father when I expected you," Melia replied in a slightly high tone.

"Don't pretend you don't know, Mel. I know you were once close to me, and now you're married to my brother, so this is how you take revenge" Erlan replied in an increasingly raised voice.

"Erlan, I don't know what you're talking about. You can't get in the way of our love, I'm already in love with her right now" Melia said in an angry tone.

"Erlan, relax. It has nothing to do with you" said Fahri who suddenly appeared behind them.

"I know you're lying, Mel. You both ruined my life!" erlan said with anger.

Melia and Fahri fell silent, not knowing what to say. They felt sad and disappointed to see Erlan's explosive reaction. Fahri could only shake his head when he learned of his sister's reaction.

"Melia, we're leaving. We made a mistake in coming to this place. Maybe he should have been a lonely friend forever. He has been so for a long time. The child does not know it is lucky!"

Now it was Fahri's turn to look at Erlan emotionally. He immediately took Melia's hand and invited her to leave the place.

'You will regret ruining life, Melia, ' Erlan murmured inwardly.
