Here is a prayer that can be offered before undergoing a cesarean section, namely:

حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ اْلوَكِيْلُ عَلىَ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا

Meaning:

Sufficient is Allah as our protector, and He is the best protector. To God alone we surrender.

According to the Hadith of Tirmidhi number 3524, while asking for help from Allah SWT, Prophet Muhammad SAW read this prayer:

Hayyu ya qoyyum birahmatika astaghitsu

Meaning:

"O Lord Almighty, Standing Alone, with Your Mercy alone, I ask for help."

Each delivery becomes a happy moment at the same time stressful. There are prayers before delivery and some practices that can be done for prospective fathers and mothers.

When Fatima RA was nearing childbirth, the Prophet ordered Umm Salamah and Zainab bint Jahsyin R.A to accompany her daughter. Prophet Muhammad SAW asked both of them to read the verse of Kursi (Al-Baqarah: 225), the letter of Al-A'raf verse 54 and Surat Al-Falaq and An-Nas near Sayidatina Fathimah RA.

As the letter of Al-A'raf says verse 54:

إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ

It means: "Your Lord is God, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, and then He dwells on Throne. He closes the night with the day that accompanies him immediately. He created the sun, the moon and the stars that bowed under His command. Remember, it belongs only to God to all creation and all business. Holy Lord God, Lord of the Worlds." (QS Al-A'raf verse 54)

Prayer gives birth to good and safe.

Hadith narrated by Sayidatina Fatimah RA which later mentioned Imam An-Nawawi in Al-Adzkar. In his work, Imam An-Nawawi encouraged people around pregnant women before childbirth to read many prayers at the crucial moment, (See Imam An-Nawawi, Al-Adzkar, [Damascus: Darul Mallah, 1971 AD/1391 H], pages 243-244).

One of the prayers to give birth smoothly and safely taught by the Prophet SAW:

لا إله إلا الله العظيم الحليم ، لا إله إلا الله رب العرش العظيم ، لا إله إلا الله رب السموات ورب الأرض رب العرش الكريم. يا حي يا قيوم ، برحمتك أستغيث

Latin: Ilha 'azhimul halim. Ilha illalhu rabbul 'arsyil 'azhim. Ilalalalhu rabbus samawati wa rabbul ardhi rabbul 'arsyil karim. Yayyu, yayyum, bi rahmatika astaght

It means: "There is no god but Allah who is all-great, all-mannered. There is no god but Allah, the great God. There is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and the glorious throne. O Lord Almighty, Ever All-Living, All-Sustaining. Only Your love is what I expect."

These prayers are expected to strengthen mentally and calm the mother's heart before the birth of her baby. After reading the prayer to facilitate the labor process according to the sunah, Adnan also multiply istighfar, dzikir, tahlil, tahmid and wirid to help the labor process run smoothly.
