My Beloved's Wedding

"Sorry baby you have to die." Rezky said as he pulled the knife at me.

I closed my eyes with both hands until I finally heard a gunshot, I opened my eyes, turned my gaze to the origin of the gunshot, a foreign man pointed his gun into the air.

"Stop Rezky Darmono, you're under arrest." The man said in French and pointed his gun at Rezky.

Seeing that Rezky dodged behind my body, he held me hostage with a knife he pointed at my neck.

"Stop or this girl dies." Rezky said as he slowly retreated.

The stranger followed us while pointing his gun at us, Rezky still retreated slowly until we finally arrived at a dark alley.

Feeling that he had found a route to escape, he pushed me towards the middle-aged man and then disappeared into the darkness of the night.

"Hahahaha this time you survived, but just look I'll come again dear." He said and then disappeared.

I asked the stranger who he was, and he showed me the police badge, he said he was a detective investigating a murder case against a young man I saw on television a few days ago.

He also said that he had found a wallet not far from the scene, after investigating it turned out that the wallet belonged to someone named Rezky Darmono, from that day on, he kept an eye on Rezky's movements until finally today he saw firsthand the crimes he committed.

Then me and the cop took Bams who had just regained consciousness to the Hospital, fortunately Bams did not have any serious injuries.

"Are you okay, Bams?" I asked after Bams was finished by the Doctor.

Not long after Reni came to the room where Bams was checking.

I continued my conversation with the Police Officer, he said after finding Rezky's wallet, he investigated about it shortly, and after finding his file, he learns that several years ago Rezky's mother and adoptive father were found dead in an accident.

But after investigating again it turns out that the accident occurred because there was someone who deliberately decided the brakes on their car, until now the case was not solved, either, the police suspect Rezky of doing it.

The police officer said goodbye but he gave us his cell phone number and suggested we move Papa away from Paris, and we had to move apartments, fearing that Rezky would come to us again.

The next day we planned to move Papa to the city of Pontoise, because the city was not too far from the center of Paris, we took Papa to the Hospital and Reni accompanied him, bams and I were looking for an apartment because I was the only one who spoke fluent French.

"Thank God we finally found an empty apartment close to Bams Hospital." My speech.

"Yes boss, from now on I'll be on the night guard at the Hospital, after all I'm still worried because the psychopath hasn't been caught yet." Bams.

Eventually Reni and I stayed alone in the apartment while Bams went to look after Papa.

I'm just wondering, actually, what turned Rezky into such a thing, he didn't even hesitate to kill people, he said, I was also sad to lose my little friend who I knew well and became a monster when we were just rediscovered.

The next day I tried to call Rai to ask about the development of Adit's relationship with the girl named Jessica, I waited for Rai to pick up my phone but how surprised I was when the one who raised was the voice of a man, yes it's Adit's voice, I know it very well, I hung up because I didn't want to until he knew if all this time Rai and I were in touch.

I was silent in my bed that morning, on the one hand I was very happy to hear his voice, because it slightly reduced my sense of longing, but on the other hand I was very curious about Adit and Jessica's relationship.

The next day again there was a call coming from Rai I rushed to receive his call.

"Sorry, yesterday I called Adit who picked up." I said panic.

"A Adit is getting married to Jessica." Rai said that then recounted all the events that happened to Adit and Jessica.

I hung up the phone, it was like being struck by lightning during the day hearing the news from Rai, I was crying, crying like that, I was crying not only because I was sad to hear the news of Adit's wedding, I was crying, but it's also sad to learn that Adit married Jessica for sacrificing for her.

Hearing my cry Reni who had been in the TV room and came to me, she asked me why I could cry like that.

I told Reni everything, she tried to calm me down, but whatever Reni said that day did not enter my brain at all, because now I just think that the person I love so much is going to marry another girl.

Finally Reni said some days I have to calm down and do not have to take care of Papa at the Hospital, let him and Bams who replaced me, I was very grateful for the understanding of both of them.
