He got an invitation to have dinner with Ahmad the following Saturday. He's so excited.
"Oh shit! What will I wear? Uugh!"She complained because she fell back in bed. "I don't have an abaya either .. either he wasn't bullied by her before."He was staring at the ceiling because he was thinking about what to do. "I'm going to hell."He mutters. He was all agitated on Saturday. He wants to bring something but Ahmad insists that he has everything protected. He was not too surprised to come to his house because he did research and saw priests making good money. It takes a few minutes to finally ring the door bell. After waiting for the door to open.
"assalamualaikum zara, come in, come in!"ahmad said happily. He was surprised to see he was still dressed in uniform.
"Oh no..am me early?"He said nervously as he closed the door behind them.
"No, you're just in time. I have some mosque businesses that run longer than I expected and have no time to change."He explains. The house was beautifully decorated and there was a good aroma coming from the kitchen. He did not wear his hat but the ring was still on his finger. "Fortunately I was ready earlier than time. It's all hot now."Said. The kitchen was nice and big and he felt very envious. "Do you want a drink?"She asked.
"Just please water."Said.
"Do you want ginger tea with dinner?”
"No, thank you. I don't like ginger tea. It's too dry for me."He explains.
"Yes, it's an acquired taste I'll admit."He's nodding. He gave her a glass of ice water. "Please go this way."He said to guide him together.
"Do you live alone?"He asked wanting to know.
"Yes. I have a few cleaning staff that come in very often and a few extra cooks for when I have a more formal mosque meeting."He answered.
"Awww, No pets?”
"With all this fine furniture?”
"Yes, sorry."He blushes.
"No need to apologize."She smiles. "I've never had a pet so actually I don't want one."He added.
"I can understand that. I kept thinking about getting a pet, but I couldn't decide between a rabbit or a cat. I grew up with both in the house. Sometimes silence reaches me."He explains. He nodded in understanding. He took her to a small dining room because the more formal ones were in different parts of the house and were closed. The schedule was set and he lit a small candle. "Oooh fancy."He blushes. He can't help but laugh.
"I'll be right back."Said.
"Do you want help?”
"No, please sit down."He insists. He waited nervously. He can't help but be restless. He always used to help even though he was a guest. He came back with a nice steamed plate for her.
"Oh My gosh that looks delicious!"He drew a surprised breath.
"Parmesan chicken with some chicken meat balls and salad next to it."She smiles.
"Ooh you're ruining me."He blushes. He got his own plate and sat down. They told Duas and ate. zara was careful not to burn her mouth at the first excited bite. "Mmmm.so good."He asked for help.
