Chapter 46 (Stuck)

Nathan looked at the empty road behind him, he started to pull back his car slowly. He glanced at Vanessa who was already scared, “Sayang, call the head of security at home and Niko too,”, Nathan said.

He had to figure out a way to turn his car around, Nathan drove his car down the road he was on. In front of him was another car.

“Sial,” umpat Jordan.

With tears flowing Vanessa picks up her cell phone, contacting Niko. “Abang,” call Vanessa with vibrating voice.

Inside her room Niko frowned, she felt Vanessa's frightened voice, “Why?”

“Please go to X me and Nathan on the road,” Vanessa said. He wiped his tears, in the lyrics Nathan seemed to think.

“Which bodyguard?” asked Niko in a frustrated tone. He was absolutely terrified, his younger brother as well as his future nephew were in danger.

“No Pa Crist is on leave, and the place to eat we came is not too far from home.”

“Wait! I'll be there soon, don't get out of the car.” Niko severed her connection unilaterally she grabbed the jacket and walked out of her room. And called all of his family's bodyguards to help Nathan.

Vanessa saw a man walking towards her car, her legs shaking even more. His heart was beating rapidly, cold sweat was getting wetter over his body.

“If there is a gap to run, go with a settle. Don't let anyone know you're out of the car!”

Vanessa could only nod her head, the man was getting closer to her. “Yes God save me, my baby and my husband,” Vanessa said inwardly expecting God to hear her prayer.

Vanessa looked to the right as she heard a knock on the window of their car. Vanessa felt Nathan's hand grip her tightly, giving Vanessa strength. But the fear did not just disappear, the anxiety was still in the depths of his heart.

“Open!”

Vanessa clearly heard the command of the man standing beside the car door.

Vanessa shook her head as Nathan asked for approval to meet the man.

The man tapped on the car window even harder. “Quick exit, otherwise I will break this car window.”

Vanessa shook her head, she asked Nathan not to leave her.

Nathan doesn't want to risk it, much less hurt Vanessa. He saw the man pointing a firearm at the window of his car.

Nathan wiped Vanessa's tears, kissed her lips for a while and let go. In his face Vanessa intensely.

“We'll be fine. You wait here for a moment .. if you have a chance to run away, do not let them catch you.”

Vanessa can't speak anymore. His heart ached, confused, restless and anxious all blended into one. The tears didn't stop to see Nathan open the car door and leave.

It was clear that Nathan had locked all access to the car so no one could get in. Unless Vanessa presses the button to unlock it.

Nathan was brought into the crowd of large-bodied men who now surrounded him.

Nathan had indeed learned martial arts, but he couldn't possibly fight all of these men at one time if they were to simultaneously gang up on him.

“Who told you?” Nathan asked in the tone he made as calm as possible. He put away his fear for the sake of his son and wife.

They smiled in disdain for Nathan's words.

“I,” replied a man who had just come into the crowd.

“You!” Nathan was completely inexhaustible to the man who was now smiling merrily in front of him without any guilt.

“Stop him,” said the man with a mysterious smile. Then he retreated and saw how savage his men were in taking out Nathan.
