Chapter 28 (Remembering)

After she finished calling Mom, Vanessa felt tired. Maybe the effect hasn't

having breakfast, he walked into the kitchen and picked up some bread. Vanessa

choose to return to the room after finishing the bread and one glass of milk.

vanessa's bedroom door glanced at Nathan's study, she missed Nathan. If

previously they could still have breakfast together and lunch together, now

Vanessa looks at Nathan's tired-looking face, though

his body is not doing well and wants Nathan to give it away

more attention to her, but Vanessa doesn't want to add to Nathan's burden. “Iya,

the spirit of work,” said Vanessa while commenting on a smile.

Nathan ruffled Vanessa's hair, “Call me if needed

something,” Nathan said while keeping Vanessa's phone next to his wife.

Though it was hard leaving his wife who was ill,

but Nathan still has an obligation to take care of his company. She didn't

will let the company go out of business, will be a lot of people who lose

work if it happens. Especially in this pandemic, everyone needs it

the huge cost of maintaining their immunity from getting Covid-19 virus.

Nathan looked at his laptop screen, which showed the numbers
