Chapter 24. Permission to pursue love

Mr. Darman's loud voice was heard to the ears of Galang and Shella. Galang looked at Shella who was standing next to him. Galang's eyes were filled with jealousy. Shella pretended not to know and did not understand Rafael's attitude.

"really. I will ask Mr. Darman for permission to pursue the love of Shella" Rafael said.

"Don't joke. Shella is too young to date. I forbid him to date" said Mr. Darman.

"I won't ask Shela to date, but I hope I will be able to marry her" Rafael replied confidently.

"Me-married? Mr. Rafael don't make jokes" said Mr. Darman with a smile.

"Seriously. I'm really serious. I'll wait until Shella graduates. He agreed, too" replied Rafael.

"What, really? Then, I agree," said Mr. Darman relieved.

Galang grew jealous when he heard Rafael's last words. He hurriedly pulled Shella's hand into his room. He could barely control his emotions.

"Shella, I need an explanation!" said Galang rather high and cold.

"A few days ago, he declared his love for me. But I don't know how to refuse. So I'm just saying, that dad forbid me to date. I still want to go to college and not date until I graduate. He said he would wait. I guess, he's just messing around. Who would have thought that he would come and immediately ask my father for permission," Shella replied hoping that Galang was clear with his explanation.

"You should say no love. Not even giving hope," said Galang upset.

"Yes already. Why are you even angry at me. At the time, we weren't dating, were we?" shella asked disappointed with Galang's attitude.

Hearing Shella's words disappointed in him, made Galang start suppressing his emotions. He should be able to be mature like Rafael if he wants to win Shella's heart.

Galang did not want Shella to be more comfortable with Rafael. Because even though they are currently dating, it does not rule out the possibility that Shella will compare herself with Rafael.
