Chapter 23. First day of dating

Shella's steps stopped. There was an electric shock felt in every stream of Shella's blood, as Galang held her hand. Shella had not yet thought, Galang had already pulled her into his arms. Shella tried to resist, but Galang's embrace was quite strong.

Shella finally resigned. He returned Galang's embrace hesitantly. A shy smile seemed to adorn her ayu face. A wide smile described his happy heart.

After a while, Shella let go of Galang's embrace. Shella sat back to where she was. While Galang shifted his chair to be close to Shella. Galang grasped the hands of Shella who was still shy.

"Tell me today, it's the first day we're dating. Can I take you to watch?" ask Galang.

"Go see the movie? I think we should hide our relationship. I'm not ready, if anyone knows. Especially my parents. They don't want me to date. I want to work first after college" Shella replied.

"But ...." Seems disappointed.

"No, we can learn first. Maybe after college, my parents will agree I'm dating" Shella said.

"In this moment, let's promise. Will not be close to anyone else. If one of us is breaking, we will make our relationship. How, agreed?" ask Galang.

"alright. I agree" replied Shella.

They agree to hide their relationship and they will live it while learning.

Outside, there was the sound of his father's motorcycle followed by some of his father's employees. They were very surprised when they saw Galang was already at the restaurant again. Their therapy is also happy to see Galang can return to work.

"Group, are you okay?" ask Mr. Darman. Other employees took their boss's questions seriously.

"Yes Uncle. Galang is fine. I'm sorry, I've worried you" replied Galang.

"Thank God. Uncle listen, he said your parents picked you up. They still let you work here. Or are you here to say goodbye?" ask Mr. Darman again.

"Galang was indeed picked up by my parents, they asked Galang to stay at home for a few days. They never forbade Galang to work, after they heard my explanation. Is it still possible, Galang works here?" ask Galang expectantly.

"The relationship between Galang and family has indeed improved. But Galang wants to live independently. So, Galang asked permission to stay at this restaurant. This time, Galang will pay the rent," Galang replied.

"No need to pay rent. You can still stay here for free. Itung-itung you can act as a security guard here like yesterday. Shella, help me check the goods that come," said Mr. Darman after there was a freight car coming.

Shella and Galang rushed out to check on the orders that had arrived. While others, prepare the ingredients for today's menu.
