Chapter 21. Love statement

He was taken to the police station with the other gang children. They get guidance and they have to bring in their parents to give them assurances that they can be released.

Shella gave an explanation regarding her abduction. But he doesn't admit that he knows the person who kidnapped him is Jiro and his gang. Shella is worried that the police will arrest Jiro. In any case, she was able to survive because Jiro knew her brother.

He also stated that Galang was his brother. But the police won't believe it because they're not siblings.

The next day, worried about Galang's situation, Shella went to the police station. But, it turns out, Galang has been picked up by his parents.

Between happy and sad, that's how Shella feels right now. He had to accept the fact that Galang was indeed not part of their family. Shella decided to go home and get ready to go to college. Before leaving his father asked about Galang.

"Shella, what about Galang? He was very worried when you were lost. Especially when they find out they kidnapped you because of him. He feels very guilty to you" asked Mr. Darman.

"She's been picked up by her parents" Shella replied.

"Why do you think you're not willing for him to go back to his house?" ask Mr. Darman to tease Shella.

"It's not that Shella isn't willing, but Shella is used to her existence. It feels like something is missing, maybe because she's like Shella's own sister" Shella replied honestly.

"Here it is, he is not our family, nor is he a relative. Just known him a few months ago. Let's just say we never met him" added Mr. Darman.

"Yes dad. Shelle left first. Later he came home a little late, because there are tasks that Shella must do at a friend's house. Assalamualaikum," said Shella. Shella kissed the back of her father's hand.

"Wa'alaikum salam. Be careful on the road" replied Mr. Darman.

After saying goodbye to her father, Shella immediately said goodbye to her mother who was preparing her father's merchandise. Kiss the back of his mother's hand, then say hello.

Sheila left for college without stopping by Resto, because Shella was sure Galang was not there. Shella tried to live her days without Galang. Although it feels a little difficult, but trying to remain a passionate Shella.

Shella's life is back to what it used to be. College, and work. There is no time to think about love. Although sometimes, Shella remembered her friendship with Galang these few months. The memories continued to appear, as Shella tried to forget Galang. Not forgetting to keep on being imagined.

To erase Galang's shadow, Shella busied herself with work. He often held meetings with Rafael to discuss the problem of developing the resto.

Finished discussing work, Rafael suddenly expresses his feelings for Shella.

"Shella, some of this time, I've been thinking long enough. I don't know since when, I started falling in love with you. But, I make sure that you are the woman I want to be the mother of my children. Shella I love you. Will you be my girlfriend?" rafael said as he looked at Shella in love.

Shella is shocked to hear the confession of love from Rafael. The man who first made Shella's heart shake. But that was before he met Galang.

His feelings for Rafael who he once thought as a feeling of love, it turns out he can also find in Galang. Shella has more respect and sympathy for Rafael as a man who deserves to be an idol. It is even suitable to be a husband.

But, Shella realized that what she felt for Rafael, more in awe than love. Rafael has not been able to make it knock set aside time to go alone in addition to work problems.

Shella took a deep breath and tried to look for words that would not hurt Rafael.

"Sir Rafael, I'm sorry. I am very grateful, because Mr. Rafael already wants to love me. This stupid girl. But, right now, I still haven't thought about having a boyfriend. I still want to focus on college and work" Shella replied slowly.

"I understand. That means I still have a chance. I will wait until you are ready for a relationship" replied Rafael.

"But, I ...," said Shella surprised by Rafael's reply.

Shella was confused, what if Rafael was still waiting for her?

Hopefully Rafael will forget about it and find another girl, inner Shella.
