"Why are you Sena?"
Slowly Mr. Gunawan's emotions melted away, trying to understand that this was part of the process of emotional maturity and the way his only son thought.
"I broke up a long time ago, until yesterday I still wanted to keep him. Cause I thought we could go back, but I don't think we can."
Damar links both hands behind his head, resigned to his relationship with Sena, his first love. The woman he thought would always accompany his days.
"It's okay, not a big deal. You're smart, cool, there's no way anyone likes it. Indo students are also here a lot."
Damar did not respond to Mr. Gunawan's remarks, only answering with an answer whose emotions were ignited again. Even though what his father said was true, there was nothing
pulled in his heart.
"Where can Dad? I'm here for him, but what's he doing now is the same guy. So what else is here?"
Gunawan took his breath slowly, hoping for more patience from the oxygen he breathed.
"You're so fucked up like this."
"I'm fucked up because of Sena."
"Don't blame others, your control is in your hands. You're like this because you can't control yourself."
Damar boldly took out his cigarette, even in the presence of his father who did not smoke.
"I'm sorry while smoking. Dizziness, my head is about to break. Being left so dear it hurts so much."
The captain is watching every inch of Damar's behavior right now. Not meeting in person for seven months, many changes that he just realized. The skin of the Damar becomes darker, probably due to many campus activities. Even the hair is covering the ears.
"When have you smoked? From Jakarta already smoking? Only you don't know?"
Damar.
"Since there's been a Sena problem."
"Your life seems to revolve around him."
"My life rotation is just Sena."
"Drink? Since when do you drink? Who's allowing it?"
The biggest mistake, less giving religious education to Damar. What he realized a few minutes ago, he regretted now.
"Not long ago, if you're dizzy."
"How much did you drink? The problem is over if you drink? I'd like to try if drinking solves the problem. There are also many problems in the office."
Damar only let out smoke without answering his father's harsh insinuations. The night breeze at one of the restaurants located in a rooftop donates less oxygen to his head.
"Dar, Mar... Next time if you want a drink say Dad, let me go. Don't drink yourself."
Damar laughed for the first time, at least today.
"What the heck." (What-is)
Damar understood that it was a ban from his father that he was most disinclined.
"Cigarettes mean something? I'm already 20+."
"If I forbid you will stop?"
"If cigarettes don't seem to."
The thin smile Mr. Gunawan saw on Damar's lips reduced his worry a little.
"F*cking you both, I hate you ****."
Damar's memory returned to his last conversation with Sena two days ago.
"Can I cry?"
Damar lifted his feet up the chair. Drown his face between his knees.
"No problem."
"I thought I could go home and bring her a title to Indonesia, come to her house and take her home. I liked him from the beginning of High School, but he just lyricized me when he wanted to graduate. As long as there was no one else even to this day. I take care of everything for Sena, I'm an organizational spirit for Sena, so she's proud to have a campus activist guy. I even went to college because he was angry when I was busy here. Anything, everything to him. Until we have a problem, because I have too many activities. I think we just need me time each other, but it turns out he's really gone. Even a vacation to the US is like her new boyfriend."
"Two holidays?"
"She was with her family to her sister's US graduation and her boy came along. Though for three years we were together, I never understood how it felt to walk together in public, what is a handrail in the mall, post a photo together on instagram, I never felt it. How do you feel if you were me?" (how would you feel if you were me?)
"Why are you like her affair that can't be known to the public?"
"He can't date, but the same guy can."
"Who's the guy?"
Mr. Gunawan carried away with the outpouring of the heart of the son to make him curious about Sena's new boyfriend. Hearing the story of Damar, Sena's boyfriend now certainly not a random person.
"If you know the board member Bambang Wiraguna, he's Bambang's son."
"Ohh damn."
"Dad knows?"
"The emblem is the chairman of Commission V. One of them is the ministry of relations. Dad's company including SOEs, Bambang's commission is not directly related to the work Dad's office."
Damar nodded, the world is that small.
"My question has not been answered. Can't I go to college in Indo? Aja private who is not complicated, I want to travel around Indonesia first."
"From the way you respond to problems as if you think your problems are big. The biggest problem in Indonesia. The responsibility is to stop in the middle of the road, stay 2 semesters."
The thoughts that also crossed his head. Almost three years of surviving in a country of people is not an easy matter, especially Damar is not the type of man who likes to wander. The homeland is truly home to him.
"Dad's been flying thousands of miles, working hard for the family so you can set an example, but in fact Dad failed to be an example. Who exactly are you setting an example for? It's just because women think you're this confused."
Despite trying to be as habitual as possible, Damar still saw the disappointment that emanated from the gaze and speech of the father.
Damar covered his face, it turned out that the lowest point in his life was only a female matter.
"Dad wanted school to be hard. Let alone to school abroad like you, can go to college is a miracle. Let alone for college, even tutoring parents Daddy can not afford to finance. If it wasn't for our brains and hard work, we wouldn't be here."
"Then Yai was a farmer and Nyai opened stalls, selling vegetables and groceries at home. Neighbors who work as teachers like to give used books to be used as vegetable packs. I'm so fond of the same Dad studying but don't have money for tutoring, I read all those books in the stall." (Hey \= grandma, Yai \= grandpa, call for Palembang people)
Mr. Gunawan reminisces about his childhood, while still living just enough to eat. Difficult times, which can only eat two eggs raised and must be enough to be eaten by a family with their parents and two other brothers.
"Now with all the conveniences and facilities that Daddy loves, your fighting soul is zero. Not the soul of the unyielding Malays."
Mr. Gunawan was silent, unable to educate Damar like his resilient self.
"You want to go back? Go ahead. Think carefully about your future. Your future is in your hands, not in the hands of Father or Mother. You can only support as much as you can."
Gunawan glanced at the watch on his right hand.
"At least there's still 15 hours waiting for Dad's plane to fly to Sidney. For 15 hours you use it to think. I'll list you on Dad's flight manifest, if you still want to go home, I'll wait in Changi." (Changi : singapore airport)
Mr. Gunawan immediately stood ready to leave Damar by grazing the suitcase that always accompanied him to fly anywhere. The suitcase he brought with pride and struggle for the family. The son of a farmer from a remote village in Palembang who was able to build a career as a flight captain today. Which provides the best facilities and education for the only son, so that Damar can go to school without difficulty like he used to.
"Dad ain't no break in my flat?"
Mr. Gunawan shook his head. It turns out that rejection from his father is just as painful.
"Dad booked a hotel, use your time to reflect and think."
Damar repeated the memories that made it possible for him to reach Singapore until this very moment. All the sacrifices of his parents, especially the father, as well as the proud expression of Mommy when he knew he was accepted at NTU, woke him from the slump. Although he had not yet woken up, at least he knew he had to get up.

After checking in from the hotel which is only 2.5 hours, Mita wants to get to Bandung soon. Her shopping spirit is now on 45 again.
"Please dong dear, to the mall can be home tomorrow Sena college."
Mita responds with pursed lips.
"This time you're beating me up. What time do you want to go home tonight? Kasian Sena he's got to learn."
"Yes." Yeah."
Mita answered weakly.
"Pinter, muahh."
Rama who was wearing a belt kissed Mita's forehead.
At the request of Mita who wants to be alone with Rama, Rama is forced to drive alone without a driver.
"Go home and have to wear the driver, dear."
"Don't you both want to be with me?"
"It's not like that, it means that I can while working. If I love my time wasted just driving."
"All right..."
Distance Tangerang - Bandung which is less than 200km traveled by Rama within 3 hours. Without significant obstacles and congestion.
Without giving to the people of the house in Bandung, Mita surprised Sena who was solemn' with a laptop.
"Besthee."
Mita opened the door to Sena's room which was slightly open.
"Oh Allah is shocked. How come it's here??"
"Can dong use doraemon door. What's the shah again?"
"This is not saying. Who's here?"
"Just like a bodyguard, stay at the door."
Rama was munching on an apple that he took from Enin's refrigerator. Green apples from Australia say "granny smith" oad lebelnya.
"Ih bosen see, I'm so kasian with Teteh rich don't have time me time, everywhere diintilin."
Speech that covers the truth, because the real Sena envied seeing Mita always with Rama.
"You don't spurn Mita. Beware of talking macem-macem. What did Wa Cucun cook? Euy's laper."
"So we just ate a bang."
"Different, this is the Wa Cucun cuisine that there are no two. Sena mah endolita."
"Say, big brother, it's delicious."
"What time is college?"
Mita refocused on Sena, focusing on her initial goal.
"Why is it?"
"Shopping yuk's bestie."
"Hhh here because you want to shop? Oh my gosh ckckck."
"BM's a pain right Sen?" (BM \= many want)
Rama eavesdropped on the conversation from outside the room
"That's nothing, is it? We're transiting at the hotel."
"Ikhlas is my darling."
Sena head bobbles. The room suddenly felt a commotion.
"Tong lalawora talks to girls, don't be frontal." (lalawora \= recklessly)
"We didn't say anything, my dear Nin. Xixi."
Mita defended herself.

"Sen, I want nanya to?"
Suddenly Adit sends a message while sitting at the dinner table preparing for breakfast.
Nanya? Curious.
"What's it, Mom?"
Not immediately answered, Adit instead made a video call.
"What breakfast?"
"Cereal use milk, where's the milk. Wa Cucun, cold white milk punten."
Spoiled child, still. Thought Adit.
"For Sena, do you want to kill me?"
"Yes, I did. How can a work day be here anyway? Brother not working?"
"Izin a day mah, bosen see Abang work continues. Busy affairs of the world continue."
Chieleh...
"Gokil you know Mas, here just to ask for payment shopping. Rich there's no mall."
Sena stared at the phone screen in front of her.
"Ohh breakfast with Ayang. How are you?"
"Good Tea. Which brother?"
"Abis Fajr sleeps again."
The talks now involve three people.
"Eh, you said you wanted nanya, nanya what?"
"What is it?"
"So in the chat you said you didn't want to."
"Oh, it's gonna be later."
"Kok later, I became curious gini. Rarely do you use permission first."
Adit laughed shyly, hesitant to answer or not.
"Truly want to know? But there's a trick I'm ashamed of."
"Why embarrassed? It's mah nanya aja. Sans I am mah. Think of peanut butter as always at the dinner table, just a complement."
"I'm not being her."
Adit cuts off Mita's now-depressed speech more "noisy".
"Why?"
"Because I know the answer "
"What's the answer?"
"You are the answer to my prayer."
Sena's face flushed with embarrassment, never before had Adit been this successful.
"Ceileeehhhhh in gombalin dong early in the morning. Okay bye, I have breakfast in my room. Gerah euy denger's dating."
Sena's getting red. Meanwhile, Mita wakes up carrying a plate containing two bread stumps filled with chocolate jam and beans.
"You're red face."
Adit seduces Sena.
"Then anyway? just ordinary."
"Gemes, so I want to go home."
"Here comes home, something misses."
"If I go home, don't be busy with college."
"It depends, what if you're busy?"
"Mending doesn't come home from me."
"Ngga's being diced too, so my driver doesn't want to?"
"May I be a chauffeur?"
"May I make Aditya Wiraguna mah."
"Later the fans on campus run away if I'm a chauffeur."
"Ngga anything. What do fans mean when you're there."
Now Adit's face is flushed. Every single compliment even a fistful from Sena to him sounded sincere.
"Later to go home, finish the job here first. Let's clear up a two-week schedule."
"okay."
