Inside the Elevator

The atmosphere at the dining table was suddenly silent, which sounded only the clangs of spoons and forks. In silence Indira stared confusedly at all the family members.

Why doesn't anyone ask me why I moved into this house, huh? Indira asked inside.

While the Queen stared at the gloomy face of Dealova. The food in front of him did not touch him at all.

"Why doesn't Lova eat?" ask Queen.

Delova looked up at the Queen. "This is not Bi Iyem's cooking. It doesn't taste as good as Bi Iyem's cooking" Dealova said, leading all eyes to look at her.

"One's tongue is different about taste, but if one person's tongue is compared to six people, then we know whose tongue is in trouble" Theo said.

Dealova's face immediately flushed red, when it received a crushing innuendo from Theo. He hurried to the entire Theo family.

After the death of Dealova, the King immediately attacked Indira. "Dira, what about Daddy's question yesterday? Want to answer now or 10 in the office?"

Indira was silent for a moment while thinking. "Sorry Sir. Previously there was something I wanted to ask", Indira replied.

The king who had expected to get a question, he immediately looked seriously at Indira. "What do you want to ask?"

"Why didn't anyone ask me why I moved into this house?"

The king chuckled at Indira's question. "Do we need to ask our own family why she lives in this house?" ask the King back.

"I don't mean like that, sir", Indira explained.

"Don't extend. We're glad you finally want to stay in this house again. So why do you have to tell me why you live here."

Indira looked seriously at the faces of all the family members who were at the dining table. But no one reacted in shock or as if curious.

"Have you guys planned the incident in my house?" indira asked with a serious face that made the whole family look at Indira.

"What happened to you, son?" ask Queen.

"Do you really not know?" ask Indira back.

The queen shook her head. "Your arrival last night with our granddaughter made us very happy, so we agreed we wouldn't ask why you moved here."

"So everyone knows, we came tonight?"

All the family members nodded except Theo.

"Sister Theo who sent messages to the family group", said Tamara when she had just finished feeding her little daughter.

"So you all really don't know" Indira repeated guiltily. "I'm sorry I thought you were all the ones who had done the terror in my apartment."

"What terror!" the Queen was shocked.

"Yes, Mom. There was a black-clothed person standing by the glass window of Dira's room", Indira said.

"Thank God you guys came straight here. Mommy doesn't know what's gonna happen if you stay there."

Indira smiled at the words of the in-laws. Although there was still doubt in his heart, he did not want to discuss it anymore for the sake of the comfort of himself and his son.

In that luxurious and spacious looking office lobby, Dealova stepped foot in.

"For Ma'am" said security.

"Sir, buk, am I your mother?" ketus Dealova, which makes the security confused.

"Why is Bu Lova different than usual, huh?" ask the security by muttering.

"Why confused sir?" ask a man who will go through the security.

"Eh, that's sir. Ms. Lova is not what she used to be", replied the security. "The new employee's father is here, right?" he asked when he realized he did not know the man who had just greeted him.

"Yes, I'm new IT here" he replied.

"Owh, Mr. Hengky's replacement?"

"To be more precise I am his superior, sir", replied the man with a smile.

"Owh, sorry sir... " The security read the name on the man's ID Card.

"Daven, sir" he said as the security officer struggled to read his name.

"It's okay, sir. Then I go inside first" Daven said kindly.

"Rules and subordinates make no difference, are just as friendly", he murmured as he welcomed the friendliness of the other employees who were passing through.

In a car Indira pensively gazed out the window, after she and Theo drove her son to school. Theo has insisted on coming with him, as he wants Rafa to get to know him more closely.

"What's your decision on the advice of Daddy?" tanya Theo broke the silence, but remained focused on driving.

"I will answer that question later, while in the office" Indira replied without turning her head.

Theo gave a rude snort while glancing at Indira at a glance. "How was your life in these 5 years?" tanyakanya.

"Is that important to you?"

The answer to Indira seemed to hit right in the heart of Theo. He had no idea what Indira had been going through for the past 5 years, but he could feel Indira's sadness behind his anger.

"I'm sorry, because for what I did, you're going through something sad. Give me time to fix everything."

Indira turned towards Theo. "I've never felt my life was so sad!" indira Tejat.

"It's not like that I mean", said Theo when parking his vehicle in Basement. "We talked about this in my office" he continued after getting out of the car.

Indira also came down from the car, then he walked after Theo's steps.

Ting.

The elevator door opened wide, Theo stepped in followed by Indira behind him.

Why did he take that elevator for the employees? Indira asked inside.

"Give me your hand", Pinta Theo suddenly told Indira.

Indira looked confused. "For what?" tanyakanya.

Without answering Indira, Theo immediately grabbed Indira's hand, until their hands joined together.

Ting.

The elevator doors are wide open. The employees waiting in the lobby were flabbergasted when they saw the affection shown by Theo.

"Excuse me, sir", said one of the employees who dared to enter even though their CEO was in the elevator.

Theo just replied with deheman. While Indira was trying to take off Theo's grasp, but he did not succeed.

"Is he the only one coming?" point Theo at the tomboyish woman waving her hand at other employees who are not riding in the elevator.

"Yes, sir", they said almost simultaneously. Then Theo lifted his finger from the elevator button.

"Where are you from the department?" theo asked as the elevator doors closed tightly.

"I'm from the IT Department sir", he replied kindly.

"Owh, pantes" Theo muttered.

"So, you said something?" ask the female employee, when she hears a whispering voice.

"How much bandwidth are you? The whispering voice is quickly caught with your signal" said Theo, who made the female employee laugh.

"Ah, I could have. I'm just afraid you think I'm an impolite employee, for not answering your words", he said.

"But you are not polite!" theo exclaimed which made the employee panic.

"Sorry, Sir. I was slow to enter this elevator", he added, looking down.

Ting.

"Aren't you going down on this floor?" ask Theo.

"Once again I'm sorry sir" said the woman as she walked back out of the elevator.

Theo laughed loudly as the elevator door closed tightly until his hand was released from Indira.
