Love Me Tender's

Love Me Tender's
Where Theo went last night

Indira tries to hide her anger at her husband. In front of her parents-in-law she continued to serve her husband as usual, even though there was no smile on her face.

Dinner was finished with a little awkward, because of the silence of Indira during dinner.

"Daddy wants to go to the workspace, yes", he said.

"OK, dad", said the Queen and others.

Then one by one they left the dining table leaving Indira alone who was still stirring food in front of him.

"Non Dira, the old feeding tube."

"Again no appetite, bi. Aunt Dira's thoughts continue."

"What's Dira's aunt?" ask the aunt while cleaning up some of the eating utensils that have just been used.

"Auntie Dira fell in the bathroom. And now he's in a coma."

"Oo, that's it", said the.bibi who made Indira belik.

"Auntie understand the comma?"

The auntie shook her head. "I don't know, non. Aunty only got to grade 2 SD, so don't understand that."

"Oo, sorry bi. Dira doesn't know."

"It's okay, non."

Indira put the spoon on the plate. "Dira was no longer strong enough to eat. Sorry for the food."

"It's nothing, non. Or aunty make warm tea, maybe Dira catch a cold."

"Not to bi. Dira just go to the room."

"Yes, non. Careful."

"OK, bi", said Indira as he stepped towards the top floor.

Geck. Geck.

"Does it have to be like that forever?" Theo chuckled in annoyance when the wife was still knocking on the door before entering.

Highlight Indira's eyes capture the phone screen in Theo's flaming grip. There was a video call still going on with a long-haired woman. Women who have seen Indira street with Theo in the mall.

"Who is he?" asked Indira coldly.

Theo was a little bit of a drunk when he realized he forgot to make his video call. But because it was caught off guard, Theo also ventured to speak honestly to his wife.

"Later to connect again" Theo told the woman on her phone screen and immediately made the call. Then Theo approached Indira who was sitting on the sofa.

"Since you've seen it, I can no longer dodge it. She was my ex-boyfriend, because I never agreed to a break-up request from her. He's been in London all this time and only returned to this city 2 weeks ago."

"So you're gonna turn her back on him?"

"It's not that easy, because I married you even if I had to."

Instantly Indira's heart was stunned when she heard the word forced from her husband. Actually he did not want the marriage, but circumstances also forced him. Without feeling the crystal circle fell in the corner of his eyes. Indira quickly got rid of him.

"What do you want Dira to do?" The question he did not want to say, but had to come out of his mouth.

"Sister wants us to do a one-year marriage contract. Once the contract expires you are free to do anything and I promise you will be compensated accordingly when the contract expires."

Indira was silent for a moment, but her heart churned violently. It was so easy for Theo to consider their marriage. "I don't think you want to!" emphatically.

"No one wants to replace a new cloth with an old one."

Theo frowned. "What do you mean?"

"No one wants a contract marriage if he is legally married!"

Theo seemed to be hit by a hard object when he heard the words of Indira. "OK, don't blame me if you're gonna keep seeing me in touch with him!" Theo stepped into the bathroom, then he closed the door by slamming it.

Indira was shocked when she heard it. He snorted violently while stroking his chest.

In a poorly lit house a mother sitting in a wheelchair stares at a picture frame in her lap. An event that never runs from his memory.

"Mom, why just turn on the lights to read?" ask a man who is entering his mother's room.

"It's okay. All mothers can save electricity", said the mother in a soft tone.

"It's not like that either, ma'am." The man walked towards the switch and turned on a lamp that could illuminate the entire room. "Well, this is good, ma'am."

"Had mother told me not to turn it on. It won't change my mood. Only with the results of your work that succeeds, it can only make you happy!"

"Mother relax. I'm trying to ma'am, because it's not that easy to do."

"Easy, just so you dare!" The mother stared intently at the child, until the child inched back. The mother's sinister face made her afraid to carry on with her plans.

The night was long for Indira. He continued to move uneasily when the husband had not yet returned home. She suspects that Theo went out to meet her lover, clearly visible from the way she dressed and the perfume she was wearing.

I don't know how many times Indira shifted her body, but her eyes have not been closed. His eyes looked towards the wall clock. "It's 12 o'clock, why hasn't Theo come home?" said muttering.

The clock kept turning, minutes by minutes passed. Without saying hello in the morning. Indira blinked feeling the sunlight that burst through the window glass.

"What's? It's morning!" he said when his consciousness returned. He looked towards the clock on the wall, ten minutes away the clock showed 7 o'clock.

In a hurry, Indira went into the bathroom. After she finished, she walked to the walk-in closet to change her clothes. Then she walked towards the mirror and put on thin makeup on her face.

"It's cool" he said in awe of himself. He had his backpack and cell phone on the table. Then he stepped out of the room.

When going down the stairs, almost Indira slipped if she could not maintain her body balance.

"Be careful!" exclaims the Queen as she comes from the direction of the dining room.

"Yes, mom", he said, continuing his steps toward the dining table.

"Tumben sister-in-law was late to her descent. Usually always ahead of Ara" he said as he grabbed a glass of orange juice on the table.

"Yes, I overslept the wake", said Indira as he hung his butt on the chair. "Daddy and mommy are done with breakfast?"

"Already" he answered briefly. "Live brother-in-law and brother Theo alone again. What were you guys doing last night, till bad luck woke up?" search Tamara with a meaningful smile.

"Not doing anything. Maybe his sleep is good." Means brother Theo didn't come home all night. Where'd he go?" inner Indira.

"Hey...!" Tamara flicked her hands right at Indira's face. "Why stop scooping?" tamara asked when she saw Indira had just put a spoonful of fried rice into her plate.

"Owh, this is what I've seen, like this fried rice is similar to Dira's" he said.

"Yes similar. The recipe is from non Dira", said the aunt who suddenly came from the kitchen. "But the taste may not be exactly the same as non-Dira's."

"What matters is good, bi", Tamara said as she turned to Indira. He begins to suspect Indira is hiding something from him. Your smile is not as sincere as usual, what is it with you brother-in-law? Inner Tamara.
