Love is Second
9. Help Allen.

"What's wrong?" allen asked as soon as he saw the panic and cry of Norra.

"My mom, my mom's in the hospital!" answer Norra sniffling.

Allen tried to calm Norra down. The two hurried away from the restaurant to the hospital where Rose was.

Rose was still lying weakly in the IGD, when Allen and Norra arrived.

"What's really going on?" norra asked two of her neighbors who drove her.

The two looked at each other first, before then answering Norra's question. "It's Carlos Santos."

Norra suddenly frowned. "Carlos Santos the thug? Isn't he in jail?" ask the girl again.

One of the neighbors shook his head. "He's been back three months."

"What has he done?" This time Allen spoke.

"He had long controlled our district and always asked for tax money. After getting out of prison, the man asked for more tax money as compensation for the vacancy three years ago." Another neighbor gave a brief explanation.

"Why didn't you tell me?" murmured Norra, while looking at Rose with tears in her eyes.

"For he doesn't want to worry you, son." Jemimah, Rose's best friend suddenly appears interrupting them.

Seeing the arrival of Jemimah, Norra suddenly ran and hugged the woman tightly. In addition to friends, Jemimah is also a former resident of Zorneva District. He moved about five years ago following his only son.

"Aunty," said Norra.

Jemimah gently stroked Norra's hair. "I happen to be new here, and intend to visit your mother," said the middle-aged woman.

While they were still hugging, Diana's doctor, the heart specialist who handled Rose, arrived there.

"As I've said before, the best solution for Mrs Rosemary is Heart Ring surgery, which can help reduce damage to the heart muscle, and reduce the risk of having another heart attack," said the doctor.

"Will it be effective, doc?" ask Allen.

Doctor Diana turned her gaze to Allen. "of course. Heart rings are not for curing heart disease. This tool is only useful for opening narrowed or blocked arteries. After the installation of the heart ring, patients still have to take drugs and change their lifestyle. However, it was much better than not taking any action."

Neither Allen nor Norra nodded her head. The girl then walked back to Rose.

"Mom," said Norra.

"No, son. Mother is fine in this situation," the mother later said. Rose has always refused to take any action to treat her heart disease.

"Don't do it, Mom. Do it for me. I have no one, but Mom." Norra wiped away her tears that started to flow.

Rose remained silent. He simply wiped away the princess' tears and asked her to come closer.

Using her two still weak hands, Rose hugged and stroked Norra's back affectionately. "I'm sorry Mom, for always troubling you, huh?"

Hearing that Norra shook her head. "Nobody's bothered, ma'am."

"Mom's coming home" Rose asked.

"The lady should stay here for a few days for further examination huh?" It was Dr. Diana who answered Rose's request.

"Right, Mom, for now it's better to take care of Mom first. Don't think about the store or anything else first" Norra said.

Rose would not give up. However, after waiting for a while, one of the nurses told them, that the first to third grade treatment rooms turned out to be full. There are only VIP and VVIP treatment rooms left.

Norra was worried, because the insurance he had from work only covers the cost to first class.

"My mom can still wait here, right, Ners?" ask Norra.

When Norra was confused, another nurse suddenly came to tell Norra that they would immediately take care of the mother's move to the VVIP class.

Norra was surprised. VIP only he can't pay, what else VVIP.

"Mr Allen West has taken care of his administration" the nurse replied, as Norra asked about the administration he had not paid for.

The two nurses left Norra.

Norra turned around to look for Allen. Unfortunately, the man did not see his nose.

Just as Norra was about to overtake Allen to the administration counter, the man suddenly appeared.

"What are you doing, Allen!" exclamation Norra.

"I'm just trying to help. We can't let your mother wait in the IGD any longer. You don't have to worry about anything" replied Allen.

"I don't want to accept mercy from anyone, Allen. I'm still capable of doing things for my mother" Norra said stubbornly.

"I never thought so, Norra. Please, don't think badly. Your mother just needs to get treatment immediately." Allen walked up to Norra.

"But, I ...." Norra could not continue his words.

Allen swiftly hugged the girl's body as tightly as possible.

"One day I'll pay for it, Allen, and you can't refuse!" urged Norra with a muffled voice.

"alright. That we can talk about later, the important thing is that your mother can get good care."

Allen stroked Norra's hair, while occasionally kissing her head.

...**********...

As a result, for several days, Rose received treatment in the hospital with the number one service. Not only that, Allen even signed the approval of the heart ring installation surgery Rose, as his guardian.

That of course caused tension between Allen and Norra at first. The girl did not want the rumors between them to grow. He also did not want people to talk about him who only used Allen's wealth, it's true. However, just how else, Allen had taken care of everything and Norra could not just pull out.

As a result, if Rose's condition improves, he will begin to perform step by step toward surgery.

"All will be well, ma'am. You don't have to worry, do you?" norra said this morning. For three days he was allowed to teach at school to accompany his mother.

"Mom is not worried at all. I'm just thinking about how we can repay Allen's kindness." A single smile was present on Rose's weary face.

"Mom don't have to worry. Let me think about it" Norra said.

A sigh came out of Rose's mouth. "Allen seems to really be feeling for you, Norra," said the woman.

Norra was silent for a moment.

"Has he already expressed his feelings, son?" ask Rose again.

Norra nodded briefly. "A few times, ma'am, but I refused."

Receiving such an answer, Rose frowned. "Well, why?"

Norra folded her lips for a moment. "There's a lot of factors, ma'am, especially his status who just lost his wife a few months ago. I just don't want to make a decision too soon" the girl replied cautiously.

Rose raised her hand and stroked Norra's delicate hand. "Don't ask the situation, but ask your heart. Remember one thing, too, not to hang a man's feelings for longer."

Norra could only nod, responding to the mother's advice.
