Love is Second
5. Appointment.

"Thank you for the ice cream. You shouldn't have bothered to take me here. I'm the one who should take you home" Norra said unkindly, as Allen insisted on driving the girl home by walking her way to the front of her alley.

"No problem. I'm sorry, but I was going to drive you home, but you were the one riding the bike anyway" Allen said, occasionally patting Willy on the back who was now asleep in his cradle.

Norra smiled knot. "It's okay. Then, excuse me. Give my regards to Willy later."

Allen nodded his head. The man still remained there, waiting for Norra to leave first. However, just as the girl was already riding her tiny motorbike, Allen suddenly called out.

"What's wrong?" ask Norra.

Allen cleared for a moment. "Next time, will you leave your bike at home when you go to school?" ask the man.

Norra suddenly frowned. "Why is that?" ask the girl.

Allen was silent for a moment. The man was busy looking for a word suitable for him to say to his son's homeroom teacher.

"So we can eat ice cream together again. Willy will definitely take you again next time!" Allen hurriedly connected his last words.

Norra speechless. The girl tried to refrain from looking ordinary. "No problem." Answer's friendly.

Allen smiled slightly widely. The man then told Norra carefully.

After Norra left, Allen just stopped a taxi for them to go home.

...**********...

Sebastian is seen standing in the doorway of the house, when Allen and Willy arrive.

Willy, who was now awake, rushed to run into the house, after meeting his father's best friend first.

"It seems you're happy to be a hotshot?" ask Sebastian to be curious.

"Yes, Uncle. I just ate ice cream with Papa and Miss Norra!" willy replied enthusiastically.

Sebastian frowned deeply and immediately turned his eyes to Allen.

As if he knew what his friend was thinking, Allen said. "He's Willy's homeroom teacher. I'm just returning the favor to her."

"A debt?" Sebastian raised both his eyebrows high. The man removed his body from the doorway, giving Allen access to the house.

"Yes, I owe my mother."

Hearing Allen's spontaneous answer, Sebastian's curiosity just got higher. The man quickly embraces his best friend in order to extract further stories.

While Allen who realized, that he had just let go of talking, immediately stepped away from Sebastian's embrace. The man even rebuked the friend to stay away from him.

Sebastian laughed loudly. It was only fitting that over the past few days Allen's attitude was no longer as bad as before. Inwardly he was grateful as well as grateful to whoever the girl Allen was referring to.

Sebastian didn't want to ask Allen to forget Winstley that quickly. He just wanted Allen to move on with life as he should.

...**********...

As Allen had said a few days earlier, Willy actually invited Norra back to enjoy her favorite cold snack. Coincidentally the girl was not carrying a motorcycle since two days ago, because she was in the workshop.

However, unfortunately Norra refused Willy's subtle invitation. The rejection is not without reason.

"I'm sorry, Will. I can't possibly let my mom do a cake order with just a few people. How about we do it next time, okay?" Norra tried to persuade the handsome boy who now looked very upset.

"Then we go to your house. Can, right?" Suddenly from the direction of the parking lot Allen appeared in a shirt suit as usual. However, this time his shirt arm rolled up to his elbow.

Seeing Allen's arrival, Norra was shocked. Willy nodded his head enthusiastically, when he heard the father's proposal.

Norra grimacing. He did not not want Allen and Willy to go there, but the girl actually felt bad.

However, without waiting for Norra's reply, the two hurriedly pulled her hand to get into the car.

Norra inevitably finally gave up. He also let two people do what they like.

Norra awkwardly sat down next to Allen after Willy invited him. The girl didn't turn down because Willy jumped in the back seat. He couldn't possibly let Allen camouflage himself into a private driver by sitting in the driver's seat alone.

While on the way, the three took the time to go to the furniture store to buy fifty containers of cupcakes and their decorative spinners, out of the hundred pieces needed.

Not to forget a large box of containers for storing tart cakes was also purchased Norra. Understandably, the order this time is intended for a birthday event that will take place at night. They only had about eight more to complete all of them.

Fortunately, some neighbors took the time to offer help.

After finishing with the groceries, they then rushed to go to Norra's house.

A stir happened in Norra's house, when some of the mothers who helped there, saw the arrival of the girl with a handsome adult man and his son.

They even shamelessly asked Allen's identity.

Allen, of course, felt a little uncomfortable with the questions. What else is the question expressed right in front of Willy, who is now hiding behind his body. However, how else, Allen could only grimace badly, in order to maintain his attitude.

Luckily, Norra and Rose were able to control the atmosphere. The two invited Allen to sit in the guest chair.

Nevertheless, the man could not allow himself to sit quietly with Willy, who was now busy enjoying a few pieces of appetizing cake. By forcing him to offer himself to help.

Norra initially refused, but seeing Allen's tough attitude, he relented. The two were finally in charge of decorating the beautiful cupcakes that had matured.

Norra and some of the other residents were stunned, when they found out that Allen had decorated the cake using whipped cream. Norra thought that man would be hard to teach.

"You're so great!" praise Norra with an enthusiastic look.

"Every weekend, Winstley always held impromptu cooking classes, and I was his student" Allen smiled, without letting go of his focus on the beautiful cupcakes he was decorating.

Norra was amazed. He praised Winstley's prowess.

Their work was completed at six o'clock in the evening, an hour before the event began.

"Norra, have you called her online taxi?" ask Rose.

"Still waiting, ma'am," replied Norra worriedly. He sometimes stared at the wall clock.

"no need. Just put my car on." Seeing that the mother and child had trouble finding a vehicle, Allen offered.

Rose reflexively turned her head towards Norra, gesturing to refuse.

"No need for Allen, we've been a lot of trouble for you" Norra said.

"It's okay. We don't have much time, do we?"

Hearing Allen's question, Norra nodded languidly. His own fault was asking the mother to wait for him to shop home from school, as a result they became a waste of time.

Rose unkindly accepted Allen's offer. Assisted by some neighbors, they brought all the cakes to Allen's car which was parked in front of the alley. Norra brought the biggest tart.

"Thank you, son Allen, for all the help. You should have enjoyed the cake enough with Willy" Rose said as they bade. He can't walk far.

"Together, Mom. I'm the one who's grateful, because I'm still willing to make a cake for me and Willy, while I'm bothered with the order."

Rose nodded her head and said 'no problem'. The middle-aged woman hugged Allen's towering tall body, before then letting him go. Not to forget he also gave a warm peck on Willy's forehead.
