Love Is Because It's Ordinary

Love Is Because It's Ordinary
Honeymoon

In the morning greet the bodies of a couple who are still asleep. Juan never closes the curtains during sleep, the reason is simple, because he really likes when the morning sun shines on his athletic body. He also deliberately placed his bed closer to the window.

It's been three days that Juan and Daisy have been living in the apartment. As they had agreed, a week lived in Daisy's parents' house and a week lived in their apartment.

Daisy squirms as the sun shines on the blankets-covered plain body all the way to the chest. The warm feeling of the sun's rays was disturbing, making Daisy want to sunbathe and enjoy the sunshine this morning.

Daisy got out of bed and picked up the nightgown lying on the floor. Since marriage, they almost never miss a single night to combine love. It's understandable, because they're still newlyweds. They are also still not active, and plan to start working again after their honeymoon.

Daisy wears her nightgown and stands on the balcony of the room. He closed his eyes and spread out his hands, then inhaled a deep breath. Juan awakens and approaches Daisy slowly. He put his hands around Daisy's waist from behind.

Daisy tiptoed in surprise and opened her eyes, then a faint smile was created from her thin lips. Daisy hugged the hand that was coiled around her waist.

"Away awake?" ask Daisy to smile.

"Already," replied Juan, writhing spoiledly on Daisy's back. He put his chin on Daisy's shoulder.

"I'm going to go to the kitchen and prepare breakfast, Brother Juan go take a bath!" said Daisy.

"alright. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. We'll go to Paris the day after tomorrow. Please get our clothes ready!" said Juan.

"Well after breakfast, I'll take care of the clothes we'll bring!" answer Daisy.

After cleaning up, they had breakfast. Their breakfast menu was whole wheat bread and wallnut jam as well as half-cooked beef eye eggs. After breakfast they would watch TV, Juan sat on the sofa and Daisy preferred to lie down and lay her head on Juan's lap. Such is their daily activities during the apartment.

Two days later

Juan and Daisy are leaving for honeymoon in Paris. They stop by Daisy's parents' house to ask them for their prayers and blessings, so that their journey will be smooth and come back well.

"Ma, Daisy and Brother Juan are leaving now!" the Daisy's pamphlet in front of the house gate. Shilla and Denis drive Daisy to the front of the gate.

"Be careful you two!" shilla.

"Yes, Auntie!" replied Juan.

"Well, how do you still call Auntie?" ask Shilla.

"Sorry, Ma, Pa, Juan is still not used to it and always forgets" Juan replied smilingly.

"It has to get used to it" Denis said.

They got into the car and waved at Shilla and Denis before the taxi drove out of Denis' yard.

Half an hour later they arrived at the airport, almost too late to get stuck in traffic. Arriving at the airport they went straight to the counter and into the departure gate, they arrived on time and sat on the plane with gasps after running.

16 Hours later

Juan and Daisy arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. CDG Airport is one of the entrances to France. Get off the plane they will walk through long alleys, on the wall along the aisle there is the inscription 'Bienvenue en France' which means 'Welcome to France'.

The hallway features a travelator to help them walk faster. Out of the hallway they entered a Foreigner immigration check room. The counters are divided into two, the Schengen/EU passport holder counter and all passports. Because Juan and Daisy are not from EU countries so they queue at the counter of all passports.

Examination in Paris is relatively fast, only seen visa and validity period. Exiting the scanner door after retrieving the suitcase, they followed RER's instructions to take a train to the center of Paris.

The train stopped at Saint Germain. The station had no escalators, so Juan and Daisy climbed the stairs leading out of the station. Their journey continues by taking a taxi to the hotel where they stay.

Juan had a hotel reservation close to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel room that Juan booked was deliberately facing directly to the Eiffel Tower. The hotel is ten minutes to the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower or Tour Eiffel is a global icon of France. The tower built on the Champ de Mars on the banks of the Seine river in Paris looks beautiful at night.

The time difference between Jakarta-Paris makes Juan and Daisy unfamiliar. Juan and Daisy sleep and rest when they arrive at the hotel room.

The Jakarta-Paris trip really made Daisy feel sore. His whole body felt limp without bones. Though they desperately want to go for a walk, but because they are tired they finally undo their intentions and choose to sleep.

At the moment in Jakarta it may be midnight, but in Paris it is only 18:00 and still bright. The 6-hour time difference between Indo-France still makes Daisy dizzy. They should have slept at midnight. They slept two hours ago at the restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.

After dinner they went back to their room. The sky was already dark and the Eiffel Tower lights were starting to be seen from the hotel room windows. Daisy stands on the balcony of the hotel room, looking in amazement at the Eiffel Tower.

"Sister Juan, here!" call Daisy.

Juan approached and stood beside Daisy, Juan wrapped one hand around Daisy's slender waist.

"It's so beautiful, huh?" ask Juan.

"Yes, right. Brother Juan is smart to choose a place," said Daisy.

"Well, today we must rest first. My night job also seems to be off today, haha," Juan laughed teasingly at Daisy.

Daisy could only frown upon hearing the temptation from Juan's mouth. Juan pulls Daisy into his arms. The sky of Paris is completely different from the sky in the country. Tonight, the stars shine bright. And the two honeymooners, kissing warmly under the starlight in Paris.
