Denis lay in bed hugging a picture of Shilla smiling sweetly.
“You're evil, you didn't say goodbye to me at all. You're evil, honey, very evil.” Denis reminisces about the late Shilla, Denis' tears continue to flow.
Denis loves his wife, who has been with him for so long. Denis had forgotten how long he and Shilla had lived together. As long as they were married, not a single problem could change how they both felt. Denis got out of his bed, looked around the room. He saw a letter tucked between the neatly arranged photo albums under a small table in the corner of his room.
Denis approached and picked up the letter with a pink envelope. Denis opened it slowly, he sat down on the sofa beside the table.
The letter contained a goodbye from Shilla.
‘Dear, my beloved husband.
I know, if you'd surely be this broken. But you need to know, there is nothing eternal in this world. So does the life we have. I can't say goodbye to all of you, I don't want to leave by looking at all of you crying. I can't see it, I'm afraid if I can't just walk away from you. The lung disease I'm having is getting worse, but I didn't tell you and everything. I just want to thank you guys, thank you for being my husband, daughter, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. You can be sad but you can't go down, I'm going away happy, so smile, Denis, I love you. Keep smiling for me. Hey, why are you still crying. Let's smile. I love all of you. Goodbye,’
Denis was crying more and more. Daisy stands at the door of Denis's room, bringing food to her father. Hearing her father cry, Daisy couldn't stand, crouched down and sat on the floor. Daisy tries to toughen up for Denis, but the loss of her father's cries make Daisy's defenses collapse.
John approached Daisy and hugged his weeping wife. His heart really hurt to see it.

A year later, Raffa and Raffi's second birthday arrives. This time they did not celebrate, Shilla the mother left right on her grandson's second birthday. They only went on a pilgrimage to the tombs of Shilla and Reva.
“Hello dear, Mama and Papa are back to visit. You must be happy, because now beside you there is granny.” Daisy puts a white rose on Shilla and Reva's tomb.
“Darling, are you happy there? I hope you're happy, someday we'll be together again. Go first, rest in peace there.” Denis painted the tombstone under the name Shilla Anggila bint Suwarman. The four of them left the cemetery.
Losing is painful, but life has to go on. After returning to practice at Juan's office clinic, Denis is busy taking care of his expedition business, with the help of Fadil, Gito's first son and former assistant. He busies himself with work, so as not to continue to grieve. Because Shilla's been asking Denis to keep smiling for her.
Everything went as usual just this time, without Shilla.
