Love From Facebook

Love From Facebook
Chapter 1

Today Nayla came home from work at nine o'clock in the evening, because she got a noon shift schedule.

“Assalamu'alaikum, Andi.” Nayla got home and opened the door.

“Wa'alaikumsalam greetings, Mbak,” replied Andi.

Andi is Nayla's 21-year-old sister. Nayla only lives together with her sister because their parents have long since died.

Nayla sat in the chair for a while to unwind, she saw her sister who was seriously watching a football game.

“Andi, have you eaten yet? Want to buy food? mumpung Mbak has not changed clothes,” asked Nayla.

“Udah kok, Mbak, was buying nasgor in front of the alley.

Ma'am, have you eaten yourself?” ask Nayla.

“Udah. Ma'am take a shower first, tomorrow Ma'am get a morning shift. You don't sleep malem-malem, it's college tomorrow.”

“Iya, Ma'am, less than 20 minutes left.”

Finished bathing Nayla saw her phone. There were 10 messages and five missed call messengers from Fahad. Nayla exhaled violently. He was very tired of Fahad's attitude. It felt like he was blocking the man's Facebook and Messenger, but somehow he never did that .

Aye ... Fahad and Nayla got to know each other through the Facebook app a year ago. When you first see a message from Fahad that contains,

“thank's for your like, Dear.”

Nayla liked one of the men's photos on Facebook. Not a photo of the man himself, but a photo of a tree and a view. Nayla never wanted to like a picture of a man, she did not want to be said as a girl who was looking for attention.

Like girls in general. Nayla looks at Fahad's profile first before replying to his message. Not want to see handsome Fahad or not, but want to know the man is still alone or not. And then he returned the message

“My pleasure.” Nayla retorted like that.

Nayla is indeed a woman who is easy to make friends, when there is someone who offers friendship well and politely he will welcome her well too.

After a long time they know each other one year, arriving at Fahad's question which was addressed to Nayla

“What is your education degree?”

Instantly Nayla was astonished by the question of the Indian man.

New to know already brave the education degree of all. Inner Nayla says.

But, casually and shamelessly Nayla replied, “I don't have a degree, nor do I go to college. I work as a waiter for a restaurant,” he replied.

Fahad who was sitting at his desk was also astonished by the answer of the hijab girl, Nayla. “Do you say honestly?” tanyakanya.

“Iya. Why would I lie."

After a long time they know each other and sometimes they chat via video call Messenger, finally Fahad ventured to ask WhatsApp number Nayla.

Nayla immediately refused, she felt it was enough they made friends through social media, not to penetrate into personal life .

Fahad gave up, never asking about Nayla's WhatsApp number .

Fahad told Nayla all of her personal life, including her family, work, and company. Fahad was the first of 3 children, his two younger sisters, Yasmin and Yumna .

Fahad's father died a long time ago. His family has a business selling saffron, a beautiful flower that has many properties. One of the benefits is anti-cancer drugs. His family has a fairly extensive saffron plantation. The selling value is quite expensive, even so .. does not reduce the connoisseur of dried saffron flowers because it has many properties and how to drink it easily. Simply put one or two sheets of dried saffron into a glass and then in hot water, stir and wait a while, the color of the water will change and ready to drink.

Fahad is also building an industrial company in New Delhi which he named Fahad Industries. Yasmin, her sister and her best friend Sahil helped build the company from scratch.

So did Nayla, from the beginning she was honest about her life. His family, work, social status say that he is not rich. His parents died a long time ago, Nayla was the fourth of five children. All of her sisters are married and have their own homes. Now only Nayla and Andi live in her parents' estate.

While Nayla was about to enroll in college, Nayla's parents died in an accident. Nayla decided not to enroll in college and chose to work alone.

Nayla thought, if he did not work then what about the fate of education Andi his sister who was still in the 2nd grade SMK— for Andi's education costs, and, indeed, there is already money savings from their parents—hari Nayla just enough to eat and daily necessities and Andi. If there is more, then Nayla will save it.

Nayla was shocked when she read Fahad's message.

“Nayla, actually I have the same feeling as you

Yeah, I like you. When I got to know you, I felt like I was coming back to life after my divorce from my wife 2 years ago. I don't know if you believe me or not, but I beg you to trust me. At first I was confused by my own feelings, what was going on with my heart and my life now. Please accept my love.”

Nayla just stood still, scratching her non-itchy head. After a long silence, Nayla also only replied, “it's bullshit.”

In Nayla's heart spoke,

what's the matter? It's insane! He could have joked like that with me. Yes, he is indeed handsome and rich, any woman would definitely fall for him. When the first Fahad video call was I was amazed by his good looks, especially when he smiled. Makes my heart melt.

At once Nayla regained her senses and said Istighfar many times while saying to herself.

“Aware Nayla aware! She's who you are. How could a rich man like Fahad fall in love with an ugly, poor girl like you. Don't be stupid Nayla, don't be stupid.”

Still confused with herself, Nayla is shocked when someone slaps her shoulder from behind.

“Sari!” exciting Nayla. “You're nothing, anyway! Ngagetin me aja.”

“Lagian, what do you say yourself rich maniac?” tanya Sari who is none other than a workmate with Nayla— as a waiter.

“No why-why. Uh, are you done praying?” nayla asked, switching Sari's conversation who was still suspicious of her attitude.

“Iya, udah.”

“Ya, already. Replace me who salat.”

Sari confirms Nayla's words.

At exactly one o'clock in the afternoon, Nayla was about to return home from work. “Nay, watch, yuk? There's a new movie,” invite Sari

Nayla rejects Sari's invitation “No, Sar, sorry. I'm tired. Next time, yes.”

“OK. Next time, huh? Beware of lies,” kara Sari.

In Nayla's mind, just fixed on the room and mattress—ia wanted to go to sleep immediately, mistreating her body and mind for a moment tired of all the attitudes and love speech from Fahad.

Nayla has arrived home, she went home using the services of an online motorcycle taxi as usual. Soon, Nayla cleans up. Finished, Nayla is now lying on her bed, grabbing her phone which is on the nightstand. He set his phone in silent mode, did not want his sleep disturbed by Fahad who still sent messages and called him—talking about his feelings.

***

It had been a week since Fahad had said feelings to Nayla. He did not reply to his message at all.

Not that she felt as someone who was very beautiful, Nayla was only afraid that if she responded to Fahad, her heart would open by itself. Nayla knew it would hurt her.

Saturday ....

Every week all restaurant employees get one day off during the week. Nayla chose Saturday for her day off. Sometimes, one of his friends wants to exchange holidays, Nayla also does not mind it. After performing dawn prayers, Nayla is now cooking and doing all the housework like a housewife.

“Mbak, come home later what do you want to titip?” ask Andi while wearing shoes—be ready to go to college.

“Not a point, Ndi. Ma'am no longer want something, you go home do not be late, later help the real mama tile that leaks. Kan, I want the season of ujan.”

“Ready, Ma'am, assalamu'alaikum.”

“Wa'alaikumsalam,” answered Nayla while she brushed off her smile.

Unlike her friends who choose to spend time in the mall, watching, or hanging out at the cafe during her holidays, Nayla prefers to be at home with all the busyness. Finished doing laundry, Nayla sat in her living room chair playing with her phone. Open up the social media that he has.

Message from Fahad back in, still with the same discussion—about his feelings. This time, Nayla felt she had to reply to Fahad's message, for quite a while she ignored the man's message, she thought.

“Hai, Nayla how are you?” ~ Fahad.

“Aalhamdulillah's. I'm good, how about you?” ~ Nayla.

“I'm not doing well, Nayla.” ~ Fahad.

“Why?” ~ Nayla.

“Because you didn't reply to my message, I miss you so much, Nayla.” ~ Fahad.

Nayla smiled faintly, feeling that what Afsal said was too much for her.

Nayla did not reply to Fahad's message. “It looks like sitting in the park is good times, huh?” Nayla asked herself.

Nayla decides to go to a park not too far from her home by herself. It's not too quiet and not too crowded either. Every time Nayla feels claustrophobic about all the problems, Nayla always goes to the park. Carrying a small backpack and a bottle of water in her hand, Nayla was now sitting on one of the iron chairs, her eyes busy watching the people passing by in front of her. Just like that, Nayla felt quite calm and for a moment could forget what made her heart and mind tired.
