Slowly his hands extended to Raka's face. He rubbed the handsome face that was in front of him. "You awake?" Raka opened her eyes when she felt a hand touch on her face.
Sofi immediately pulled her hand from Raka's face. There was a sense of shame when being caught off guard by Raka holding her face. Sofi had not reacted unless she had pulled her hand earlier.
Raka immediately reached out her hand and pressed her palm against Sofi's forehead making Sofi's face flushed with embarrassment.
"It looks like your fever's gone down." Raka immediately woke up from her sleep then with a cross movement, passing through Sofi's body to reach the thermometer on the nightstand.
Sofi was still unmoving or opening her voice. He only watched as Raka pointed the temperature gauge at his forehead.
"It's down, but it's still warm." Indifferently Raka returned to pass through Sofi's body with a cross motion to put the thermometer.
Sofi continued to look at Raka, then said, "Am I a friend last night?"
Sofi asked involuntarily with a gaze constantly fixed on Raka. Sofi doesn't know what happened to her last night. He tried to remember, but he thought it was the same way it crossed his mind.
"Yes, your fever is very high." Raka stepped down from the bed, "you wait here. I'll be right back." Raka walked towards the door, "don't go anywhere," Raka ordered before she flashed from behind the door.
Sofi tried to wake up from her sleep. He made up a few pillows so that he could comfortably lean back. His head still feels dizzy and his stomach feels sore because indeed from yesterday he has not eaten anything. With a face that was still pale, Sofi grabbed her phone that was in her bag that Raka placed on the nightstand.
Sofi noticed that there were some missed calls and many messages coming into her phone. Sofi started replying one by one to the incoming messages. He also sent a message to Amel and her brother. He was only afraid that they were looking for him because he had not given them any news.
After replying to all his messages, Sofi intended to put her phone on the nightstand, but she paused upon hearing the incoming call tone. Sofi stared for a moment at the screen of her phone, after which she picked up the phone. In a weak voice, Sofi began to speak. Not long after, Raka entered with a tray.
Sofi looked up at Raka for a moment and then looked back down while closing her mouth while speaking in a very soft voice. He quickly ended his conversation on the phone.
Highlight Raka's eyes turned cold as she faintly heard Sofi mention Willy's name while saying an apology. Sofi could see an indifferent glance from Raka while walking towards her to put the tray on the nightstand.
Raka grabbed the porridge bowl and thrust it at Sofi. "Eat, then take your medicine."
Raka's flat expression made Sofi's heart slightly disappointed. He thought that Raka might be worried about him, but seeing Raka's expression seemed flat, making Sofi think that Raka was forced to take care of him because she fainted while with him.
His heart seemed to be pinched. Hoping that Raka will show a face of anxiety and concern, but all she gets is her attitude. Burden, that one word was what described him at this moment.
Raka looks into Sofi's eyes. "What happened last night? Why am I here?"
Sofi looked at Raka with a curious face. Actually he could already roughly guess what happened to him until he ended up in Raka's room, but he wanted to hear straight from Raka's mouth.
"You fainted after being exposed to rain water for quite a while."
Sofi looked at Raka with furrowed brows. He could see there was a trace of guilt in the look in his eyes.
"I brought you here."
Raka looks very calm. The cold expression he had shown earlier had already disappeared to nowhere. "Don't you ever hit the rain like last night. Dangerous to you." There was a slight anxious tone and commanding tone in Raka's words.
"You've been looking after me all night?" Sofi exuded a shady look of eyes as she stared at Raka.
Raka is seen avert her eyes for a moment when she accidentally meets Sofi. "No. I fell asleep."
Sofi doesn't talk much. He grabbed the porridge and said, "I'm sorry for bothering you." Sofi did not dare to look at Raka at all. Without waiting for a reply from her, Sofi put one mouthful into her mouth.
Sofi lowered her head while holding the porridge in her mouth with a bulging mouth after hearing Raka's words. What he caught from Raka's speech was that he had already troubled her from falling unconscious.
Raka looked at Sofi flatly then said, "Eat properly. Why are you daydreaming?" Raka still continued to look at Sofi's face that looked pensive.
Sofi tried to control herself. His decision to go with Amel to Raka's house, it seemed like the wrong decision. Actually he still hopes Raka still has feelings for him, but now his hope is as if lost seeing Raka's cold and indifferent attitude to him.
Sofi lifted her head and then smiled sweetly at Raka. A smile full of falsehood to cover up the pain in his heart. "I must have been a big deal to you, right?"
Raka examines the company Sofi's facial expression that suddenly changes. "In what way can I repay your kindness?" Sofi's words seemed to make Raka aware that they were now only strangers at this time. It was like he was giving some distance between the two of them.
"I'll be home soon after breakfast" Sofi continued when she did not find any response from Raka.
With cold eyes, Raka looked at Sofi as she said, "It seems like you don't like lingering in my house." Raka smiled cynically. "Have you asked him to come and pick you up?" Not only the look in his eyes, Raka's tone was also very sharp.
Sofi looked up confusedly at Raka for not understanding the meaning of her words at all. For a moment Sofi did not know what to react to. He pensively thought, trying to understand the direction of Raka's conversation, but he still could not understand the meaning of her words.
Sofi then frowned. "Raka, what do you mean?"
Raka showed a displeased face hearing Sofi's question. "Are you back with that son of a bitch?"
Sofi understood instantly. The person he was referring to was Willy. Given that she had just received a call from Willy and again, it was the name that Raka gave her ex-boyfriend.
"His name is Willy, Raka. Never call it that."
Sofi was a little annoyed at Raka's words. Not because he still loves her. It's just that the title is considered inappropriate to be pinned on Willy, considering that as long as they are in a relationship, never once Willy treated him badly and out of control like the last time they met. Sofi was trying to understand Willy at the time because she thought Willy was blinded by not wanting to part with him.
Raka sneered with her cold face . "It looks like you still love her." Raka gave a mocking smile towards Sofi, "if you love her, why are you still trying to get back to me? Do you want to play me?"
Raka really doesn't understand how Sofi really feels about her. Seeing her angry just because she mentioned Willy with the word jerk made Raka doubt Sofi's feelings for her.
Sofi closed her eyes for a moment then placed the porridge bowl on the nightstand in a weak motion. "Believe it or not, I don't have any feelings for Willy. I'm just friends with him now. We have known him from childhood."
Raka looks to display her cynical smile. "Friends? With your ex-boyfriend? Do you think I'm stupid?"
Raka has a bad feeling about Sofi and Willy's friendship. Although Sofi already has no feelings at this time for her ex-boyfriend, but that does not mean Willy thinks the same about Sofi. A man will not have a good relationship with his ex-lover, if he has no other intentions.
Sofi looked sadly at Raka. "I told you the truth Raka. I'm really friends with him."
Given that Sofi was back close to Willy, it immediately made Rati's heart become riled up. Even so, the look on her face still looked calm, Raka seemed to have not reacted to anything. He still looked in Sofi's eyes.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have interfered with your problem. It's your right to be close to anyone."
Sofi smiled smirkingly while looking down. "Looking at you like this makes me believe that you never really loved me, Raka. It seems that my guess is correct that I am only your escape when Brother Amel cannot repay your love," Sofi said with a disappointed and sad face.
Raka touched Sofi's head and ruffled her hair. "Don't think too much. It's just your assumptions."
