Chapter 68

Somewhat night, Mike came back and saw this sight. Eireen drank a glass of wine and it made him very drunk. Maybe because she was not strong enough to drink and is now pregnant young.

"Young master you're finally home too, young lady is already drunk. But I don't want to touch it either. Nor does he want me to contact the master."

The butler came forward and reported feeling somewhat guilty.

Mike furrowed his eyebrows at Eireen.

"Mike. you're back. hik."

Eireen saw Mike, he woke up and shook his head.

He says this while staggering toward Mike, clutching the corner of Mike's shirt.

He lifted his head, his eyes both looking at Mike with my face "I don't want to go. Don't let me go. I. I. I love you Mike?"

"Who would you like to go?" Mike felt that something was wrong, he recalled these few days Eireen's behavior and attitude was very different than usual. Instantly his gaze became cold.

The next day, Eireen woke up early with a very sick head. It feels like it's about to explode.

Mike was wearing casual clothes. In his hand was a bowl of drunken soup.

Eireen raised her head and was surprised to see the man she loved getting closer to her. Then she nervously said "today you're not going to the office?"

"Your condition is like this, how can I work quietly in the office?"

Mike then thrust the bowl in front of Eireen and said again "drink while it's hot. It can take away the pain in your head."

Eireen did not refuse, he accepted the bowl and drank it to the end in one gulp.

Mike saw that he had finished his soup, and then he took his bowl back. Then he said "tell me what happened yesterday."

Eireen was surprised, he saw Mike with a confused face "what happened last night?"

"Night someone pulled my shirt and said he didn't want to go."

Mike said as he stared inside Eireen and with a curious look "I feel so strange, why can you say that."

When Eireen Hears Mike's words instantly he's petrified. He did not expect that his drunken self could ruin his plans. Makes himself very upset.

He watched Mike carefully, looking at him who was waiting for an answer from him.

It seems like last night he didn't leak it, he just said meaningless words.

Thankfully though. Eireen felt relieved for a moment.

"Ep? You don't want to give me an explanation?"

Mike waited so long, but did not see Eireen answer anything. He narrowed his eyes.

Eireen lowered his head, smiling while looking for an excuse. "Hehehe. Just drunken talk. Don't take it seriously."

"Oh yeah?"

Eireen also knew, yet he could not find a better reason. Only being able to say with a face must be "that's it."

Mike looked at her intently, even though he knew Eireen was lying. But he did not want to force her to answer.

He took the empty bowl, which he placed next to the bed. Then walk out and say "then I'll go to the office first. You rest at home."

When he said this, he stopped and recalled something while warning Eireen "remember, don't drink alcohol anymore."

Although Mike said very firmly, but the attention in his words made Eireen's heart so warm.

"Just calm down, I won't drink anymore."

Mike nodded and turned and left.

But Eireen who saw him turned around was about to leave in a moment of panic.

"Maike."

Eireen suddenly called out to him in a loud voice.

"Why?"

Mike looked at her in wonder.

When Eireen looked at him, he tried to smile.

"Today may not, if you don't go to the office?"

On the last day, Eireen just wanted Mike to always accompany him on that day. But reality is always not as beautiful as wishful thinking.

Mike raised his wrist and looked at his watch "today? I have a meeting later, can't be pushed back. I'll try to handle it quickly and come back as soon as possible. How's it?"

Eireen said in a very disappointed tone. But he can't complain

"All right. It's okay, you get in touch. I'll wait for you at home."

Mike frowned, but it was close to meeting. He suppressed the doubt in his heart. Then turn around and leave.

After Eireen sees Mike has gone to the office from the balcony. He sat alone not knowing what to do.

Then not long after, he receives a call from Tommy.

"Did you tell Mike about your departure?"

"Not yet."

Eireen looked ahead, but his eyes were blank.

"Why haven't you said it. Are you not willing to go?"

Tommy frowned his eyes blazing with rage "Eireen if you dare to make trouble, don't blame me for my cruelty."

Eireen could feel a murderous desire from the phone. She lifted her lips with "Tommy's sarcasm You really looked at my weight. What kind of thing do you think I can make myself?"

Tommy seems to ignore the sarcasm in Eireen's tone. He snorted coldly. "Remember what you said, tomorrow I must see you at my residence."

He hung up the phone.

Eireen put down her phone, and closed her eyes while smiling miserably.

That night when Mike returned from the company, the sky was already filled with afternoon sunlight.

"where's the young mistress?"

Mike went into the living room and handed his briefcase to my housekeeper.

"young lady is above master."

The housekeeper answered respectfully.

Mike nodded and went upstairs.

Inside the room Eireen was still standing on the balcony. When he heard the sound of the door sounding, his chaotic thoughts began to converge.
