Eireen then took a deep breath. And with all his strength he replied "you take it easy, I'll be gone in half a month. As long as you keep your word, you'll let me and my mother go far and don't forget my mother's medical expenses and what you and your father promised me."

"Surely, you take it easy, I'll keep it." Elaine's eyes dimmed in response to Eireen's words. "And enjoy your last half a month."

Elaine then hung up.

Eireen held his phone for a long time, and could not calm his mind. Tears suddenly flowed by themselves from the corner of his eyes.

Eireen tried to act ordinary and nodded "alright, there are things I want to discuss with you."

Mike said while still staring at Eireen "well, maybe you should wait a little while, because there are some documents that must be handled immediately."

Eireen nodded "no problem.I can wait in the study. And discuss it after you're done."

That night, Eireen accompanies Mike to work in his study.

Eireen held his chin while looking at Mike who was at work.

Mike who felt in the face continuously, could not ignore the eyes of Eireen who was staring at him blazingly "why do you keep looking at me?"

Eireen blinked his eyes, suppressing the chaotic atmosphere in his heart, smiled and said "because you look so handsome. Did I affect your work?"

"No." Mike answered casually.

"If not, please continue your work. I'll wait for you here.” Eireen knew that his attitude was abnormal. After that he picked up the magazine that was on the table. Pretend to read it.

Mike, who saw that, just lifted the corner of his lips, then he focused on working and didn't ask again.

The work space became quiet again.

Eireen could not help but look up through the magazine he was holding when he heard the sound of a pen on paper.

Under the light of the white light that lights up. Mike was wearing house clothes. His face looked perfect, not as cold as usual. The soft end of her mouth with a slight seductive smile.

Eireen looked at him affectionately, drawing Mike's face in his face. It was as if he wanted to carve Mike's face forever in his heart.

Eireen thinks that all of this he's doing is sneak, but Eireen doesn't know that Mike is actually also aware of and sees his small movements a long time ago. At the same time, Mike also felt confused.

Mike doesn't know why tonight Eireen is so clingy to him. Mike noticed Eireen at a glance, then went back to paying attention to the documents on the desk. Not long after, Mike had finished processing the documents.

Mike sees Eireen asleep on the couch, with a magazine covering his face.

Mike then walked towards Eireen with a slow step and gently took the magazine from Eireen's face.

"Yes. I'm done. Let's go back to the room and rest."

Mike reached out his hand with a hoarse voice he pulled Eireen's hand from the sofa.

Eireen obediently let Mike lead her into the bedroom.

In the bedroom, as Mike was about to change his clothes and clean himself, he found Eireen staring at him from the bed and peeking at him like he had in the study.

Mike frowned and immediately turned around and clasped Eireen's hand.

Eireen was frightened and confused. He looked at Mike and pretended to ask "what's wrong?"

Mike looked at her curiously "you're so weird tonight."

Eireen was clearly shocked. Eireen lowered his head and pretended to be calm "what is so strange about me?"

Eireen felt uneasy and comfortable and said again "you took a quick shower there. I'm still waiting for you to discuss design with you."

Mike looked at her deeply, and finally went to the bathroom without saying anything more.

A few minutes later, they were both in bed.

To cover up Eireen's irregularities, he takes out his usual work notes and asks Mike for advice.

Mike pretended not to see Eireen's strangeness. And chat as usual. His voice sounded deep and soothing.

Eireen focused on hearing but his mind was not there. Eireen looked at Mike's handsome face in bewilderment, but the emotions in his eyes couldn't lie.

"What's wrong with you?"

Mike once again discovers that Eireen's thoughts are bothering him. So he stopped talking and looked directly at Eireen's face.

Eireen suddenly looked into Mike's eyes "what's the problem?” his heart was very empty, and his eyes floated. I dare not look at Mike.

Mike smiled and put the notebook in his hand, straightened Eireen's body and asked her to look directly at him "don't try to fool me, you're so weird tonight. You've been peeping at me, and when I talk you're so out of focus. Tell me what really happened.”
