Chapter 44

"I'll work hard." He said to Mike very sincerely.

Looking at Eireen's face full of vigor and earnestness Mike nodded and said "alright, then you rest first."

Mike just went to his study. He and Mike have been together for a long time. So they already know each other. The contract was on the table, Eireen saw it back very carefully.

Once he saw there was no problem immediately he sent a text message to his father. "On behalf of Elaine. Already signed a stock contract of thirty-five percent with Mike."

At the news, Tommy seemed to be in a very good mood. "Alright, then you continue your best role. The rest I'll tell you later."

Eireen wrote again "how is my mama doing now? I want to see it."

Long enough no reply and then there's a message coming in "I'll set it."

Eireen with a cell phone in hand and lying on the bed. I should've ended the boredom of being in this house every day.

Eireen closed his eyes, while imagining his future work. He's starting to fall asleep. 

After sleeping for a while, he woke up from the cold. He started to raise the AC temperature so as not to get too cold. His throat was also a little dry. So he went down to the kitchen to get some water. As he passed by Mike's study, he heard a voice.

The curious Eireen immediately pushed the door. And saw Mike with a very pale face looking around for something in the closet. Mike while holding his stomach while his hands looking for stuff.

"What happened to you?"

When Eireen approaches Mike immediately, lean on Eireen's body. She leaned back while still holding her stomach "do you have a mag pain?” Eireen asked with a worried face.

Mike nodded expressionlessly.

Eireen hastily lifts Mike's body onto the sofa. Then he came down to take the mag medicine in the medicine box. And take warm water to drink by Mike.

Because of enduring the pain, Mike sweated until drenched.

Eireen immediately opened the medicine, and took it to Mike. Not to forget he brought a clean shirt and brought a small towel to soak up his sweat.

Eireen rubbed Mike's stomach very gently. He asked "how is it better?"

His voice was so soft that it made Mike feel calm.

After a while, Mike said "i'm fine, you take a break."

His voice sounded hoarse. But his condition is much better than before.

Eireen nodded then said "don't overwork. Don't be too busy every night. Don't forget to eat and always keep the condition of the body."

Eireen looks very serious and does not want to be denied. Mike then nodded "yes, I know."

After hearing Mike's reply, Eireen immediately walked into the room. Not long after, Eireen heard the door open. He was a little surprised Mike got into their room.

Mike usually sleeps in the guest room, but today he goes back to their room, Eireen is also unlikely to ask because the room is indeed Mike's room.

Mike also walked in very casually, he immediately went inside the bathroom. The sound of water dripping in the bathroom, made Eireen unable to sleep.

Mike, who saw Eireen awake, asked "have you been drawing designs lately?"

Eireen nodded "there. Otherwise, I'll have no work at home."

"If you have time, don't forget to show your picture." Mike said again.

"Good." Eireen answered with great affection.

When his hair had dried up, Mike immediately climbed into the bed. Eireen who was sitting down immediately broke his body. Mike turned off the lights and turned on the sleeping lights. They both slept while hugging.

Mike slept while hugging her from behind. Eireen felt comfortable and dissolved in a beautiful dream.

Next morning. Eireen wakes up, finding him waking up alone in bed. He felt beside the bed but it was cold. Looks like Mike's been up from early in the morning.

Eireen got up from the bed, then walked towards the window while opening the curtains, the sun blinding his eyes this morning.

Eireen immediately headed for the bathroom, she immediately washed her face and brushed her teeth. While in the bathroom, he listened to the door knocking.

He immediately ended his ritual in the bathroom and asked "who?"

"This is my young lady, the great lady asked you after breakfast, to meet her immediately." The waiter said politely.

"Is there anything in the main house?" Eireen asked carefully. 

Actually he was very lazy to see his in-laws. Especially the recent incidents. What was it that her in-laws invited her to the main house. And that's always not a good thing. Eireen was very lazy to deal with such trivial matters.

”he said today, The third Aunt will come from out of town. Everyone will gather and eat there." The waiter answered from behind the door.

"Oh so. I'll be there later." Eireen.

The third aunt is Aunt Marisa. Aunt Marisa is eight years different from Mike. He married a rich man from out of town. He has a five-year-old daughter.

But in Eireen's memory, Aunt and Elaine had met once in a while, and they didn't get along. That's because Aunt Marisa's daughter is playing and ruining Elaine's stuff. Elaine then scolded her daughter. The tantenya did not accept then they have never gotten along since then.

Aunt Marisa is also not a pious woman.

Although Eireen did not know about the latter situation. He considers as one more person who will trouble him. He doesn't want to have to go.

By the time Eireen arrived at the main house, everyone had already gathered. Carrol was seen playing Barbie doll in the yard.She sat with Aunt Maria and Aunt Marisa, her mother.

Eireen who saw the sight could only take a breath. feeling that danger was approaching.he reluctantly won himself over and greeted his mother-in-law "Ma."

madam Martha who saw him then ignored him as if he did not exist. Eireen also politely greeted her aunt "Aunty Maria, aunt Marisa."

Aunt Marisa nodded her mark in response. Aunty Maria glanced over and spoke to Megan. Megan nodded and immediately withdrew Eireen's hand." Elaine let's come over. If there's anything you want to eat, just say it." Megan's voice sounded very familiar, as if they were sisters who got along very well and close.
