48. Where's Shaka?

After Keyla treated his injured finger, he immediately called Shaka. She was worried that something would happen to her husband.

“The number you are going to is inactive. Please contact a few more moments.”

Keyla looked at her phone screen. Several times he contacted Shaka but was inactive as well.

“Shaka where, huh? Tumben his mobile phone is not active,” muttered Keyla with anxious feelings.

Suddenly one of his co-workers came into his room.

“Key, you're called boss. He said he wanted to talk about study tour tickets for students,”, said his co-worker.

“Oh, okay, okay. I'm in the boss' room now,” says Keyla.

He put his phone on the table and went to his boss's room. The work in his office is a lot. Keyla is believed to handle several ticket business for study tours of several schools and companies. It keeps Keyla busy enough to forget that she hasn't had time to talk to Shaka on the phone.

The hour hand showed at 5 p.m. Keyla with a happy heart immediately get ready because it will be picked up Cindy. Before returning home he asks Cindy to drive him to the mall first. She wants to buy a birthday cake first for Shaka and also something for her husband.

Keyla came closer to Cindy and whispered something slowly, causing Cindy to widen her eyes when she heard Keyla's words.

“Seriously, Key? Shaka asked for that?” ask Cindy surprised.

Keyla nodded shyly.

“Yeah, so good you Key! Ah, I will be keen,” said Cindy with her irinya face.

“Hush! Marriage used to be that way with Adit!” Keyla.

“Hahhh, Adit is busy with his work. Even lately out of town kept him,” complained Cindy.

“Nothing. He's going to be looking for capital to halalin his beautiful girlfriend. Let me cepet like I'm with Shaka later tonight,” Keyla said while chuckling.

“Amiiin. I hope he doesn't cheat out of town. If until he dares to cheat behind me, I live directly like that man!”

“Yes too, anyway,” said Cindy while scratching her non-itchy head.

Then they go to the cake shop and order a cake for Shaka. After that they went to a women's clothing store to buy something Keyla would wear later that night. Keyla remembers Shaka's request to her first on her birthday. Therefore, tonight she will prepare herself as best she can for her husband.

At around 7pm, Keyla arrived at her house, while Cindy went straight home not wanting to disturb her friend's intimacy with Shaka.

Once there Keyla found the front porch lights were on, while the lights in his house look dark. Keyla was not happy, but he did not want to think about it first. He took the key from his bag and opened the door.

The door to Keyla's house opened slowly. He came in and turned on the central light and then closed the door again.

His house looks very deserted. Anxiety began to surround him. Where did Shaka go? Why does the house feel so empty?

Keyla put her luggage on the table and went into the front room looking for Shaka.

Keyla turned on the room light and did not find Shaka there.

“Kok does not exist? Shaka where?”

"Sheel.... Shaka....." Keyla called her husband worriedly.

Keyla started to panic. He went back to the next room looking for Shaka. Shaka wasn't there either.

"Nothing is there?"

Keyla ran to the back. He checked the bathroom, kitchen and laundry room behind the house. All the places are empty. There's no Shaka there.

"Shaka... Where are you, anyway?"

Keyla was getting anxious to see that there was no Shaka anywhere. His hands started shaking. He was afraid that anything would happen to Shaka. Keyla goes ahead to pick up her phone and tries to call Shaka's number again, but the answer she gets remains the same as it was this afternoon.

Keyla sat down on the couch. Negative thoughts were playing in his head. Why did Shaka disappear so suddenly? Where did Shaka go?
