Chapter 5: Half Conscious

Maya POV 🌙

I was still half conscious after I immersed myself in the hospital. I closed my eyes because I was tired and tired.

I turned around and the man came bearing fruit for me. I immediately asked him with the hatred I was harboring.

"Why do you bring all the fruit..?" ask me to Aldi who ever knew that event I did not like. I know who Aldi really is. But I can still understand that. And I don't know why it happened to me.

"Just calm. Your punishment will not be long. I promise you your sentence will be one month. Let me take care of it later." said Mr. Doni.

I'm sure Mr. Doni will yawn some of those cops to not wait for me again later. I'm grateful.

After a month of being released from punishment, I felt relieved. Mr. Doni held a bagyakuran in his house on my release at that time. Me and some of the employees celebrated. I took a drink at the table that Aldi was following.

I'm wrong on my own now.

"Aldi, I'll stay at Kinan's house. So please help you understand. I'm sorry, I can't stay one roof with you. I'm just a regular employee. Not your family either. So sorry." I said to Aldi.

Honestly I had to make that decision without knowing Kinan would accept me at his house or not. Hopefully the Kinan family will accept me later.

"Will the boy's parents accept you to stay at his house? And would my father agree that you live in that boy's house?

Aye right. I don't know any shame to Mr. Doni or to Aldi. But I can't and won't be the second victim to Aldi's disrespectful behavior. I knew Aldi would do something at his house.

"Haha!" Aldi laughed in front of me. I kept quiet and embarrassed.

But I'm not a toy for you Aldi. I can report you to the police if you dare to mess with me.

I didn't or what Kinan felt after knowing I had to leave that house with Aldi.

I went straight into Aldi's car and closed the car door and saw Kinan waving for it. But this is not my farewell to Kinan or Mr. Bento's family.

I promise in my heart, once I have the money, I'll go back to the rented house again. A sweet home that made me feel at home there.

Aldi started the engine and made the car run slowly and go fast.

My eyes of fate changed. I remember when Berta gave me cheese bread yesterday. I asked Aldi to stop at Berta's grave. I miss him.
