Chapter 17: The changing feelings

Maya POV 🌙

I don't understand why Aldi's feelings for me have changed. I don't want to be resourceful - an Aldi. I know that's a momentary lust.

I then had some good news, I received a chat from Mr. Slamet that I was able to get out and free from punishment. At first I couldn't believe it.

I called Mr. Slamet.

Maya

Sir, is that true sir?

Slamet

Aye, right. You are free now. Your sentence is reduced by a month. It was an accurate decision. Congratulations yes!

Maya

Thanks Sir! I'm so happy.

I am happy not to play, I immediately bow down and be happy. I felt free from the harsh punishment that hit me. I'll tell Aldi the news.

As usual I heard music in Aldi's room. I then knock on Aldi's room door. He opened the door to the room.

I love Aldi chat from Mr. Slamet. Aldi smile. "Congratulations!" Aldi went back to his room and closed the door again. I was silent and still sad.

I decided to go out for a while. But I'm having trouble borrowing a bike to Aldi. He gave me his moto contact. I left without gas because I didn't have the money.

I forgot to turn off the television, it kept on and then I turned it off. The sound of music in Aldi's room was no longer heard. I saw Aldi come out and stepped closer to me. Aldi came to me during magrib.

I haven't prayed magrib yet. Still ready to go to the bathroom.

"Yes." I replied.

I lowered my head as Aldi said those words in front of me while holding my two arms with both hands.

"I'm praying now. I'll go to the mosque for the magrib prayer. Take care of this house!"

Aldi went to the magrib prayer to the Masjid on foot. Not usually. I quickly prayed magrib and immediately cooked rice for Aldi to make dinner.

Although I was a little afraid of the stove and gas in the kitchen, I tried to continue cooking while praying in my heart.

I'm afraid Aldi's hungry. But if Aldi's night usually eats out. Aldi came from the mosque. She went to her room despite seeing me sitting in the middle seat near the television.

"Maya, what did you just see? That is God's power! You have to believe that!" said the man who resembled Aldi with a heavy voice. I then shouted loudly with the body unable to move.

I screamed for help and the room lights were on. I saw Aldi coming to light the room.

Aldi left me in the room, I immediately moved to the middle seat near the television. I saw a woman I didn't know here. But who?

Aldi's room door was slammed. I heard Aldi was praying Isyak. I wait for Aldi until he finishes the prayer.

Aldi opened the door to his room. He still wears a white coat and a white shirt. "What's Maya? What are you looking at? This house has been haunted lately. You just teach."

"I want to tell you that I saw a woman sitting in this chair. I didn't lie to Aldi."

Aldi stepped into the chair and sat down to face me. "It could be Berta or other creatures waiting for this house. Oh yes, soon Dad's coming. You prepare tea for him."

I walked with Aldi to the kitchen which was still dark. Aldi turned on the light switch. The kitchen looks bright.

"Maya, I have to report to the police. It's not safe here." Aldi immediately went to his room and took his cell phone. I still closed the front door and ran to the living room.

I went to the kitchen and got the tea I had made. I saw a shadow flashing from the kitchen. Black shadow.

I quickly went to the living room while carrying hot tea. I didn't hear Aldi's voice in his room anymore. I called Aldi but no one answered.

I was stuck in the back and couldn't breathe. I'm asphyxiated. I heard Aldi calling my name.

"Maya, are you still conscious?"

Cat! The tea glass broke instantly. I immediately dropped the glass as I saw Aldi standing in front of me. "Maya, what are you doing, the glass is broken, I'll be angry." Aldi took the glass. I felt uncomfortable as I went straight to the room.

I sat by myself thinking. I looked at Aldi's arm from behind my bedroom door. I remember that thing sitting on this bed. I immediately went out and heard a strange noise from the direction of Aldi's room.

"May!" aldi's voice surprised me. He called me from behind.

I turned towards Aldi. I was still stunned and out of control.

"Maya, what's up, please tell me. I'll get you a drink first."

I waited for Aldi to get me some water. I try to sit up. Also come bring a drink. The water is red like blood.

I threw the glass down. It broke with the spilled water. "Maya, what's wrong with you?"

I let Aldi accompany me. I'm moving on to taking the phone on the room table. I saw a picture of Dad there. I heard a car coming from the side of the house. That must be Mr. Doni.

"Dad come, you're here first." Aldi told me. Shortly thereafter Aldi came with Mr. Doni."

"Maya, are you healthy..?"

"Pak Doni's. Ii'm sorry. I'm not like the old Maya anymore. There's a strange creature bothering me." I cried in front of Mr. Doni.

The man turned to Aldi. "Dad will try to call the doctor, let Maya check" said Mr. Aldi as he left me. Now Aldi lives with me.

He sat next to me in silence. "Aldi, you can call Kinan..?"

I gave that phone to Aldi. He called Kinan. "Kinan said he couldn't come. You are patient! I'll call Kinan again tomorrow. Or I'll call him to his house if I need to."

Aldi helped me quite a lot, Mr. Doctor then came with Mr. Doni. I was examined and given medication. Aldo brought me rice to eat.

I ate the rice and fried eggs greedily. Aldi saw. I just kept eating without knowing how Aldi felt. After eating me Aldi then gave me medicine. I took the medicine with a glass of water.

"You rest first! I'm gonna go see Dad in front. I'm gonna talk to him." Aldi told me. I answered,

"Yes." Yeah."

Before long Aldi brought an apple and put it on the table. "You eat this apple when you want to eat it."

"Thank you Al."

"Yes. Dad said you don't have to work first. Wait till you're cured."

"Yes." Yeah."

Aldi took an apple and ate it in front of me. Aldi left me.

I tried to close my eyes. Trying to calm myself. I saw Kinan's face. My eyes were open, I was also conscious.

I heard the sound of the television lighting up in the living room. My memory was immediately disturbed. I feel a little dizzy. I got up and saw who was sitting in the middle seat.

Apparently Aldi. My eyes are starting to normal. That thing doesn't bother me anymore. But after I turned back, I saw the shadow of the woman sitting on my bed mattress.

I shouted while running towards Aldi. I called Aldi's name and hugged him. Aldi took off my embrace and asked.

"What's the matter?"

"I saw the creature in the room. He's coming again!"

Aldi went straight to my room and turned on the room lights. There's no one. Aldi thinks I have a sixth sense. Aldi told me to be careful.

"Maya, from now on you have to be with me. You can't stay alone. The creature will continue to terrorize you.

"Sit here with me. I'll read the seat verse." Aldi picked up the prayer beads in the room and sat down while reciting the verse of the chair.

When Aldi recited the chair verse for me, I seemed to want to laugh to myself. Did that thing get into my body?
