Love Because of the Trap

Love Because of the Trap
The Residence Plan

"So where are you going to stay after this?" grandma asks Merlyn to Rachel and Gide as they have a big family dinner at the main house.

Since the wedding yesterday afternoon, Gide and Rachel have not decided where to stay. After coming home from a hotel stay for one night, they went straight to the main house because all the families had agreed to stay there for a few days to unwind after the sudden wedding preparations were quite draining of energy.

"I'll go wherever Rachel lives grandma. As long as he and our son are comfortable, it is the same for me" Gide said honestly.

"Then what about you?" grandma Merlyn asked Rachel.

"See, I don't know" Rachel who still looks moody hasn't thought that far. He has no plans for his future with Gide and their son.

"I've prepared a living house for the two of them as a wedding gift. It is only two houses from the house of Sera and Gamal" replied Ron who was very supportive of his daughter's marriage to a man who he had considered like his own child since he was a child.

"They did have to learn to live independently like Gaby and Dimas and Sera and Gamal, because they are now married and building their own household. Although the distance of his house is not far from us as parents" Mike who also gave a wedding gift of a luxurious house to his two daughters supported Ron's actions.

"Although there is no love between the two of you, Grandma is sure that you will be able to live happily in the future, what's more, right now there is my great-grandson who will make you two become more and more attached to each other" said Grandma Ruth.

"Yes grandma, we will try to live as happily as possible" Gide nodded with a smile. Although he felt that it might be very difficult considering that there was no love growing between the two of them, he believed that everything would be fine.

They then have dinner interspersed with casual chatter about the household life that will usually be experienced by many young couples at the beginning of their marriage. Although Rachel was uncomfortable with the topic, Rachel tried her best to be casual in order to appreciate her extended family.

..........

"You haven't slept?" Gide walks into the room as Rachel replies to each wedding greeting via a short message from her friends who were unable to attend on her wedding day yesterday.

"Not yet" Rachel replied without turning her head towards the husband.

"Do I make milk?" Gide who did not want his son to lack nutrition offered himself.

"No need, sister, I'm still full" Rachel stared at Gide at a glance.

"Do you need anything?" Gide makes sure that Rachel doesn't lack any one.

"No, brother, thank you, brother just sleep, I'll go to bed soon when it's done" Rachel picked up her phone as code.

"I just returned a congratulatory loyalty from my friends who yesterday could not attend" replied Rachel.

"Ohhhhh" Gide is just a beard.

"So why don't you sleep?" Rachel who was curious because Gide was sitting quietly beside him turned to look at her husband.

"I'll wait for you to finish" Gide did not want to go to bed before Rachel went to bed.

"I'm fine, sister, just go to sleep first" Rachel so feel bad.

"It's okay, anyway I used to sleep at night anyway" said Gide honestly.

"Yes it's up" Rachel finally gave up.

"Yes, my sister can't congratulate me on a short message like me?" Rachel who had many friends felt overwhelmed to reply to everything.

"There's been some, but I've been packing up everything since this morning" Gide who did not have any activity since his wedding day yesterday did have enough free time to reply directly to any incoming messages. While Rachel who since yesterday her heart and feelings are still chaotic, only had time to reply to everything now when her mood was somewhat better.

"Yes, the matter of grandma's question earlier, so where do you want to stay after we don't live here anymore? gide asked as Rachel had placed her phone on the nightstand after it was over.

"We go home to the house that Dad just gave us" Rachel replied, laying down.

"Are you sure?" ask Gide.

"Yes" Rachel nodded.

"Alright, then it's up to you" Gide then tidied Rachel's blanket to cover her chest.

Although it was hard to leave her parents' house, but for Rachel currently living alone with Gide is indeed better. In addition he can avoid the heartache to the twin brother who has made his life messy as it is today, he can also avoid the intervention of both parents for his attitude as a wife who may later not be in accordance with the attitude and responsibility of the wives mostly to her husband out there.
