Love At the End of Ramadan

Love At the End of Ramadan
Chapter 5. Invite Friends

Scraps of paper appeared on the table. Laptops that are left on for no matter how many hours as if to confirm that the owner of this room is busy beyond measure. He missed his lunch schedule.

Kirana's focal point was on the fourteen-inch screen that was in plain sight. Rows of numbers and also the statistics of the balance sheet seemed to make the woman more dizzy. No wonder if every once in a while, he looks to massage his temple.

Cekeldek....

The door of the room opened. A short time later, someone who was carrying something in his hand appeared. Who else if not Mira, Kirana's best friend?

Netra who had previously focused towards the laptop was now directed at Kirana towards Mira who was walking closer to her. His best friend just smiled sweetly while landing his butt on the available ergonomic chair.

"It's too busy Ran? Until we can't get lunch?"

Kirana just chuckled softly. Whether really busy or just pretending to be busy, in fact the woman did not want to move from her place to sit.

"I'm lazy everywhere Mir."

"Oh like that." Mira held out a clear plastic bag towards Kirana. "This is for you. From the Asep mang!"

Kirana's hand fingers that previously intensely touched the keyboard, now she stopped her activity. He grabbed the plastic bag given by Mira with a squeak on his forehead.

"From Asep's mang? What is this Mir?"

"Ran's Habit, seblak. Isn't Mang Asep selling seblak?"

Kirana opened the package carried by Mira. Instantly, the delicious aroma suddenly filled his sense of smell. Urge the residents of stomach thrashing to immediately enjoy it. And also urge the tongue to want to taste it immediately. The fiery red color in this cloak increasingly makes Kirana impatient to be able to eat it immediately.

Kirana sizzled when this seblak pleasure began to spoil the sense of taste. If you have faced seblak, as if there is no food that is much more delicious. For Kirana the expensive foods out there are badly outmatched by the food sold by Asep mang who is opposite his office.

"Have you Ran?" asked Mira whose salivary fluid also filled the oral cavity to see the expression of his best friend's spiciness.

"Hhhmmmm .. This is so good Mir. I feel like Asep's mang-flavored spice today is much more delicious than in previous days" Kirana said as she wiped the sweat dripping on her forehead.

"That's because of the love that Asep has for you Ran!"

Both Kirana's netra were wide-eyed as they nearly choked. Hurriedly he grabbed the bottle of mineral water and gulped it down. He glared at Mira who looked giggling.

"What did you say Mir? Of love? Of love? What love?"

Mira stiffened her laughter. His stomach seemed to be shaken all out if he remembered how Asep left a longing greeting for Kirana. Even shamelessly, the seller said that he had fallen in love with one of his loyal customers.

"Mang Asep has a crush and falls in love with you, Ran. She said she wanted to be your lover and if possible make you a wife."

Kirana just gawked at Mira's words. But a moment later he laughed. The news delivered by Mira really tickled the ears.

"Ahahaha. Are you kidding me?"

Mira shook her head. "No Ran. I'm really serious. Mang Asep said that to me. He said he wanted to arrest you."

Kirana's tears escaped from her frame. As a result of the sensation of spicy taste seblak and now coupled with the story conveyed by Mira. He was holding his stomach because of laughter.

"While I am still faithful in solitude and no man has come to me yet, I still have the right to choose?"

Mira could also only giggle amusedly while nodding her head. "That's definitely Ran. But my job here is only to convey the trust entrusted by the Asep mang."

Kirana tries to stop the laughter when the stomach cramps have begun to feel. "Tell Asep's mang if I can't accept his love Mir. Just tell me I already have a future husband."

"Ckkluck  ... Can't lie Ran. You don't have a husband yet, do you?"

Kirana was just smiling. While he finished the styrofoam wrapping seblak whose contents have been toilet without a trace.

"I assume, it was Mir's prayer. Perhaps, I will soon meet my soul mate."

"Aamiin..," said Mira marries the words of his best friend.

Mira looked back at Kirana's beautiful face. As a friend, he was astonished to date Kirana has never been in a loving relationship. Though Kirana's physique is almost perfect but no man has come close.

"You why are looking at me like that Mir? If you want, you're the one who replaced me to be edited by Asep's mang."

Mira. Hurriedly he widened his two neutrals. "No, no, no. Thanks for the offer, Ran. However, I don't want to. Because I already have a man I love."

Now, it was Kirana's turn to be half-dead. "What's? Do you have a man you love? Who's Mir? Who?"

"Hemmmm .. You are, this time of secret play with your own friends?"

Mira just smiled thinly. Hiding something from Kirana is not her specialty. Then his lips began to open for a little story.

"He was the son of an ustadz in my home region of Ran. We have been friends since childhood and separated since I started college in Jakarta. And all this time, he didn't know the feelings I was keeping for him."

Hearing that the friend has a heart, also makes Kirana happy. Even though it is still neatly stored in the heart of this friend.

"Hopefully you can soon be united with that man, Mir. I'd be very happy if this friend of mine could release his bachelor soon."

"Aamiin," said Mira, "Oh yes, two more days of Ramadan arrived, did you fast Ran?"

Kirana shook her head. "No Mir, I'm not used to fasting. Even my mom and dad never asked me to fast."

"So, until you turn twenty-five this year, you have never fasted Ran?" mira asked filled with curiosity

Kirana's eyes looked bright as they remembered the times that had passed.

"I once did a Mir fast. But it was only a few times. Back in school, I only fasted when I had religious lessons. But when I get home, I will cancel. I'm not used to it, so I don't continue."

Mira just looked at the pity of his best friend's face. It turns out that the role of both parents is important in forming the habits of the child. Kirana's parents are living well enough even all the facilities can be given to the princess. But unfortunately, the science of religion they do not teach. Kirana could be the woman with the perfect package. However, again, unfortunately, he who is far from religion becomes a deficiency that exists in him.

"How about Ramadan this year, you start fasting Ran? We tarawih together, we tadarus the Quran together and take advantage of the momentum of this year's ramadan with kindness that can be a reward?"

Kirana was silent for a moment, considering what Mira said. However, not long after that he shook his head. "It seems I haven't been interested in Mir."
