Love At the End of Ramadan

Love At the End of Ramadan
Chapters 17. God is Missing You

Kirana's body moved to and fro as she felt a sudden burst of heat. I don't know why tonight the atmosphere in this room feels hot, to make the woman not restful in her sleep. Kirana blinked her eyes trying to reach her consciousness. He shifted his body to lean on the headboard of the bed while occasionally stretching his muscles that felt so stiff.

"Why does my body feel so hot tonight? Do I have to go out to get wind? But it seems like the atmosphere is still very quiet. I'm afraid if...,"

Kirana bermonolog. It was like he was out of the room and looking for a fresh breeze, but the quiet and silent atmosphere slightly made the woman shudder in horror. For a moment, the woman seemed to dissolve in her own mind. In the end, he chose to leave the room after the sultry feeling was really excruciating.

Kirana stepped foot down every corner in this house. A house that feels so comfortable, because at the back, there is a garden complete with a fish pond. It was the park that attracted Kirana to sit there. Of course to hit the sultry feeling that hit.

When her body almost reached the park, suddenly Kirana's footsteps stopped when she heard the sweet voice of a man who was reading the Qur'an. Stricken with curiosity, he tried to follow the source of the voice. Until at the end, Kirana arrived at one of the rooms located not far from the park.

This room is not too big. But it still seems to be able if only to accommodate seven adults. And there was a man who was solemn in the chanting of the holy verses he was chanting.

Rama's voice sounded so soft and felt so soothing to anyone who heard it. Not much different from Kirana, he also felt something else when listening to the young man chant the holy verses to make him dissolve in a new sense of peace the first time he felt. Kirana could only stand glued to the back of Rama who was solemn in his activities.

Sensing someone was approaching him, Rama tried to turn his body around. And look, Kirana was standing not far from where she was currently resting.

"Kira?!"

Kirana gasped when she heard someone call her name. He who was in the middle of his own mind tried to open his eyes and began to wake up from his daydream. He only realized that Rama was in a position to face him directly.

"Rama ... I .. eh.. am I bothering you?"

Rama smiled knot. He closed the Qur'an before him, and put it back in its place. Still with his clothes, sarong and skullcap Rama approached towards Kirana.

"Why did you wake up in hours like this, Kiran? Is there something you need?"

Kirana nodded slowly. "Eve in the room I was in felt so hot Ram. I meant to go to that park. But before I got there, I heard the voice of someone who was teaching and I was finally here."

Rama smiled knot. Ever since his first encounter with Kirana, he felt that there was one burden of life felt by this woman. It was clearly visible from the silent highlight that emanated from his net. And this afternoon when Kirana said she wanted to emigrate, Rama felt that this was the right time for her to pull this woman's hand out of the pit of sin.

"You going there? Let me accompany you!"

"But...."

"Calm down Ran... I'm not gonna do anything. Hours like this, the atmosphere of this house is crowded. Look, Abi and Umi are already in the kitchen to prepare a menu for sahur!" rama said while pointing towards the kitchen.

Kirana's gaze was fixed on the kitchen space that looked so bright. There is also a shadow of two people who are busy chatting while holding vegetables in each palm. Sometimes they also seem to laugh freely as if they do not have the burden of life that they feel.

Kirana's eyes are heating up. The silhouettes of the affection of his two parents went back to playing around in his mind. He never expected that the romance of his parents would end in such a heartbreaking way.

Kirana wiped away the clear droplets dripping from the frame of the eyelids. With a bitter smile, he tried to hide the sadness he felt.

"I want to go to the park Ram!"

"All right, let me go!"

In the end, the two men walked towards the park. Both of them sat on the park bench there. The garden benches were separate, it meant that the two were not sitting on the same bench.

"You used to wake up at this hour?"

Kirana tried to open her voice to start chatting with Rama. His gaze was still straight ahead, towards the towering tall ornamental palm tree. If before the sultry feeling that ambushed, now there is only a cold feeling that feels. The night breeze in this park really feels soothing.

Rama nodded slowly. "Yes, at hours like my family is used to waking up, Ran. Especially when Ramadan is like this."

"For evening prayer and teaching too?"

"Yes, it can be said that way. And certainly be prepared for sahur."

"B-but why can't anyone else be seen in the room you used Ram?" kirana asked so curiously.

"Abi and Umi if ramadan like this usually do the evening prayer after preparing food for sahur. As for Yasmin, night prayer in her own room."

Kirana's face suddenly changed. He felt very ashamed to be in the midst of a devout family in worship like this Rama family.

"I-I'm ashamed of Ram.. I'm embarrassed..," said Kirana with her head lowered.

Rama's forehead frowned, not so understanding of what this woman said. "Thy? What's embarrassing you?"

Kirana sighed deeply and she exhaled a little harshly. "I am ashamed to be in the midst of a devout family worshiping like this family Ram, I feel inferior, because I am different from you."

Rama's forehead is getting deep. "Different? We worship the same God, right? Why can you say that you are different from me and my family?"

Kirana's gaze returned to the front with a blank look. I don't know what the woman was thinking or feeling.

"I feel like I have gone too far from my Lord. If I want to get closer, is my Lord still willing to open the door and accept me?"

Kirana's eyes are heating up. I don't know what's going on with him right now. Since his conversation with Rama this afternoon about the nasuha taubatan and seeing Yasmin Istiqomah with the hijab he was wearing, Kirana's heart was further wracked by the feeling of a stranger who was writhing spoiled in her heart. His heart was like a pinch.

And now as he listened to Rama recite the holy verses of the Qur'an, he made him feel a peace that was difficult for him to describe. Unknowingly, a drop of clear grain again fell from Kirana's eye saddle.

Rama's sweet smile rose again on his lips. The man felt that at this moment God was touching a piece of living flesh that was residing in this woman's body. He believed that God had His own ways of turning people's hearts upside down.

O muqollibal quuluub, that is Allah. The Supreme Thing turns over the hearts of men.

"Do you want to go back to your Lord?" rama asked trying to convince Kirana.

Kirana was no longer able to say anything. He can only shake his head.

Again, a big smile returned to Rama's lips. "God misses you, Ran. Missing you saying the word istighfar uttered from your lips, missing you shed tears as you remember all the sins you have committed, missing you praise the majesty of His name, he said, and miss you chant the verses of love that are in His Book."

"But it has gone too far for me to leave my Lord.  Do I still deserve to be accepted?" kirana was still doubtful.

"As I said this afternoon. How great are the sins we commit, believe me if the door of God's forgiveness is much greater for His servants. Knock on the door of God's mercy and mercy. He will definitely accept and welcome your presence."

Rama's words could really penetrate the hard door of Kirana's heart that had been locked. The door of the heart that has never been touched by religious values, is now wide open and ready to begin to improve. He linked his gaze towards Rama, and smiled towards this young man.

"Help me tell Umi, Ram. I want to be guided by Umi to fetch guidance."

"Alhamdulillah..."
