We as human beings must do and spread good. Doing good to someone is mandatory. When we do good to someone, that good will turn to ourselves.
Every good, though small in form, will be rewarded by Allah SWT. Likewise with ugliness, seremeh whatever form will also get rewards.
Kindness is a behavior that has a positive impact on others, whether they are around us or society at large.
"Will you chant the holy Quran for me?" pinta Jasmine while restraining Atha's steps.
Deg
Atha was shocked by Jasmine's request to him.
Atha turned to glance at Jasmine at a glance then changed to look at bi Narti who was a little dumbfounded.
Atha was still silent and was still thinking about what answer he would give Jasmine.
"I'm tired. I want to sleep. So can you accompany me here while chanting the holy verse of the Qur'an so that my heart is calm until I fall asleep?" jasmine asked with her question. Hope Atha accepts his request.
Atha became nervous, her heart suddenly racing quite fast. He was confused, in fact he had never done what Jasmine had asked him to do before.
Atha was very famous for her kindness and her helper soul, hence Atha agreed to Jasmine's request as long as the request was useful and had a positive impact on Jasmine.
"Well, I'll read you the Surah Maryam" said Atha, accepting Jasmine's request.
Jasmine smiled happily when she heard it.
Rushing Atha took a seat to sit on the chair to the right of Jasmine, then he picked up his phone and opened an application containing the recitation of the verses of the Qur'an.
Earlier, Atha took a slow breath to neutralize her nervousness. This is the first time that Atha recited the holy verse of the Qur'an in front of others, let alone a woman who has lately made her mind and heart unfulfilled.
"A'uudzubillahiminassyaithoonirrajiim, Bismillaahirrahmaanirrahiim," Atha reads with the preceding ta'awudz and basmalah readings.
Then Atha continued to read the Surah of Maryam from the first verse full of passion.
Then, while listening to the chant of the Holy Quran recited, Jasmine began to feel a calmness in her heart as well as her mind.
"God willing, his voice so sweet, so soothing," the inner Jasmine who listened and watched his reading solemnly.
Jasmine was moved until her eyes glazed over, it felt like she wanted to cry.
Atha was very focused on the holy verses he recited. The longer chanted, the more melodious the sound is like a song that plays beautifully.
But Jasmine is like a child, which when heard the recitation of the Qur'an or sholawat, then over time will be sleepy. His eyes began to rub.
"I love it, love it so much..," Jasmine's inner slowly closed her eyes asleep.
What does Jasmine mean by the word 'liked'? Does Jasmine like the sound of the holy Qur'an verse recited by Atha, or does Jasmine even like her person, Atha? I don't know.
Bi Narti who had seen Jasmine while listening to Atha teach, then confirmed the blanket covering Jasmine's body. The middle-aged lung woman was happy that Jasmine could finally calm down with her sleep while listening to her master, Atha chanting the holy verse of the Qur'an to Jasmine whose heart was being bad.
Atha rested her breath for a while and then took a quick glance as bi Narti enveloped Jasmine, marked that the woman had fallen asleep.
"Shadaqallahul'adzim," Atha ended the recitation of the Qur'an which he recited after Jasmine was declared completely asleep.
Atha was relieved that Jasmine had fallen asleep. At least he helped Jasmine ease the burden of thoughts that the woman might have felt all along. Although Atha did not know what was going through Jasmine's true grief.
"Bi, look after Jasmine. I'm going home first. If there's anything, just call me!" atha said as she put her phone into her pants pocket.
Bi Narti knew that her employer was tired from the early hours of not sleeping because it was keeping Jasmine until now. But on the one hand, bi Narti was happy because her employer was so concerned about Jasmine.
"Why did you want to help Non Jasmine until now? Don't you know the exact origin of Non Jasmine, sir?" asked bi Narti with curiosity.
Atha sighed slowly, then looked at Jasmine who was asleep in bed.
"This woman deserves help. Because helping others is a simple act that helps us not to deny the blessings of God and to be a reflection of the good that comes from God" said Atha wisely.
Bi Narti smiled at Atha's words.
"May you have a wife who is as good as you are, sir!" bi Narti mndo'akan.
Atha gave a small smile, feeling happy to be prayed for by a middle-aged lung woman like bi Narti who had worked for him for many years.
"Aamiin, thank you for your prayers, Bi. I'm going home now, yeah. Take good care of Jasmine. Call me if you need help. Assalamu'alaikum" said Atha who then stood up from the chair.
"Wa'alaikumussalam, be careful sir."
Atha stepped away from Jasmine's inpatient room. His drowsiness that he had been enduring since early morning seemed to disappear as he chanted the holy verse of the Qur'an at Jasmine's request. Atha was also happy that he could help others.
