Longing Memories

Longing Memories
Dreamtime

That afternoon after spending time with Mas Hanif, I went straight into the room and started to tidy up the items I had brought when I came to grandfather's house. I have to return to the capital immediately because there are important jobs that cannot be transferred to anyone else. It does not feel like time has shown magrib time. I immediately took my body to the bathroom to take ablution. I am not an expert in worship, but at least I always try not to delay carrying out my duties as a religious people.

I finished my ablution and then prayed in the room and after that I went straight out of the room to go to the dining room because soon dinner will begin. I did not see my grandfather at home because as usual he was in the mosque for congregational prayer. While my grandmother saw me watching the television screen. My grandmother was among those who were hard-pressed to carry out religious orders. There is something strange that I just found out after a few days of staying here, my grandmother likes to throw something in the corner of the house while her mouth is muttering like a spell.

I once asked my grandfather what he was doing, but he just smiled and told me not to follow. I once asked Mas Hanif and the answer was almost the same as grandfather. I think it's really weird, and it makes me even more uncomfortable being around my own grandmother.

I rarely visit my grandparents in the village. In addition to my solid work, also because I am quite difficult to sleep at night if not at home. Therefore, almost every family event that requires to come to the home of grandparents, surely I do not come because I have to stay for several days there. It was only during religious holidays that I took the time to visit their residence in the village. I was also confused myself, why suddenly at this time I willingly want to vacation at grandfather's house even if only for a few days. Apparently, there was an incident that made me very curious to make.

It's time for dinner. There was no sense of awkwardness in the four of us who were already sitting in the dining room. Grandma also saw me not show any other strange. Likewise with grandfather who looks greedy eating cuisine made by Si Mbok.

"What time is the deck tomorrow?" Ask Mas Hanif.

"Jam 9 am mas, let the kesorean also reach home. So I can still rest until tomorrow." My answer.

"Kok impromptu return home anyway nduk? Grandpa still misses." My grandfather said.

"Yes cake, Sarah there's an impromptu assignment from the office out of town. It can't be represented said Sarah's superior."

"Alah, that's your office you can't see anyone else seneng nduk, just also vacation has been told to work again alone." My grandmother said it was in my conversation with my grandfather.

"It's okay Grandma, her name is Sarah works there, must always be ready if given an impromptu task. Sarah is also happy with her work."

"Where do you work and what is the deck?" Ask Mas Hanif.

"Manager Marketing at a real estate company mas." My answer.

"Yowes if it's your responsibility then immediately done, already now spend the food continue to rest." Grandpa said mediate.

I don't think time has shown at 10 p.m. After finishing dinner last night, I went straight into the room to lay down my body, while Mas Hanif left because there was a need for a while. I also ended up falling asleep because I felt this body was very tired. I dreamed, in my subconscious, I saw a girl sitting alone by the river bending her knees and crying. I walked up to him and I pat him on the shoulder, and he looked up and he suddenly said "help me. Please take my revenge!"

I woke up just as he was asking for his revenge. I'm confused, who's that girl? And what does that have to do with me? I sat myself in bed, I saw the clock showing at 2 p.m. Again and again I woke up in the middle of the night like this. I went to the table in the room to get some water. But I saw that the glass was not filled with water. Oh shit, I forgot to fill it up before I went into the room.

With a little bit of anxiety, I went out of the room to the kitchen to get a drink. While reciting the prayers I could, I walked towards the kitchen slowly, just like a propeller in action at night. I was scared again tonight, I was afraid to hear that voice again. Somehow, the feeling always appeared at midnight along with me who woke up from sleep.

The middle room is dark because all the lights are turned off, the only light comes from the kitchen, even though it comes from a yellow light bulb that is not too large in wattage. Arriving in the kitchen, I immediately opened the refrigerator and took a bottle of drinking water and immediately returned to the room.

As I passed through the living room, I suddenly heard the sound of women crying. The sound was as if it was near me. I stopped walking to sharpen my hearing. Instantly I felt my whole body goosebumps. There is fear that is arising within me. A brave Sarah suddenly vanished in an instant from hearing the sound of women crying at night. I took a breath and exhaled slowly. While praying, I immediately looked for the source of the voice. But neither did I find the source where it was as if the sound had indeed filled this entire central space. I am still trying to think positively that the sound of crying is just my imagination. However, the voice continued to be all around me, even the sobbing sounded very heartbreaking.

While being focused on finding the source of the crying voice, suddenly came back the voice of the woman whispering in my ears. I was very surprised because suddenly the voice said "return my revenge to Kemala!"

"Aww!!!" There was a groan of pain from a female student at the school.

Dedi and all the students who were around the park also looked at the source of the sound. It turned out that the voice came from a cute and beautiful girl who was crouching while stroking her knees which seemed to bleed a little.

Dedi who was closest to the girl immediately ran up to her.

"Are you okay?" Dedi asked while helping to clear up the girl's books that had fallen apart.

"My knee hurts, bleeds a little." The girl replied with a soft voice as she endured the pain.

"Sit down there." Take Dedi while helping him stand and sit on the school park bench.

"Thank you."

Swittt…

Ciyee ciyeee,.ekhem ajakin acquaintance In!

There were shouts from the crowd of Dedi's friends in the corner of the park. Dedi could only smile and scratch his nape which did not feel itchy at all. Just this time he felt embarrassed by the pressure of his friends because automatically all the eyes of the students and some teachers who passed by in the park immediately looked towards him.

"Ehm, still sick?" Dedi asked again to mince words to cover up her nervousness.

"Well, thank you." The girl replied with a sweet smile.

"Together, this is the book. By the way, whose name are you? How come I've never seen it before?" Ask Dedi back

"My name is Shady." Answer with a smile.

Hi everyone, finally finished also chapter 3. A bit dizzy just as confused as to compose make this story. Because it is required every chapter update of at least 1000 words, it would like less ideas to add what sentences for the next. Like now, I make words like this so it can fit into 1000 sentences😂

Sorry if the storyline is boring, this story does not want me to make the plot a bit slow because it has to unravel the mysteries one by one.
