Longing Memories

Longing Memories
Terror for Kemala

POV Author

"Ohhhhhhhhhh!" There was a hysterical cry from Grandma Kemala's mouth. Coincidentally also Hanif and Grandpa Dedi entered the treatment room in a hurry after hearing the screams from Grandma Kemala just now.

"Mom, why grandma?" Hanif asked while hugging the grandmother who looked very frightened. Hanif also wiped the tears that kept coming out of his grandmother's eyes.

"A-a-da's demon ta-tadi over there," said Grandma Kemala in fear as she pointed towards the position the female ghost was in.

Grandpa Dedi and Hanif were silent looking at each other as if asking each other what was wrong with Grandma Kemala?

"There's nobody here, Mala." Said Grandpa Dedi trying to calm Grandma Kemala.

"There it is, Mom. Her face was so limp, I was scared, it was out of the bathroom."

Hearing that, Hanif released a hug to his grandmother and directly walked towards the bathroom inside this treatment room.

Hanif opened the bathroom door and looked inside but found nothing there.

Hanif shook his head towards Grandpa Dedi, grandfather understood the intention of Hanif's head.

"There is no need to think about it anymore, now there is me and Hanif, you just calm down," said Grandpa Dedi who as usual was formal when with Grandma Kemala.

"Mas, where are you going?" Ask Grandma Kemala who suddenly held her husband's hand when she found out that her husband wanted to get out of the treatment room.

"Not anywhere, just see the doctor for a minute. Hanif, nitip granny yeah."

"Yes cake."

Not long after Grandma Kemala had calmed down again, Hanif left the treatment room to meet her grandfather outside the room.

"Sir." Hanif called his grandfather who was seriously staring at the small garden before him.

Grandpa Dedi turned his face and smiled at Hanif.

"Here and there," said Grandfather allowing Hanif to sit on his side chair.

"What's wrong?" ask Grandpa Dedi back.

"Have you seen the doctor?"

"Not yet, alesan grandfather just so he can go outside the room. Soon, Grandpa's just gonna see his doctor."

"Hm."

Hanif was silent for a moment, wondering if he would want to tell you about the events before he got to this hospital or not. Finally he decided to tell her.

"So Hanif had a strange event on the street."

"What events?"

Hanif recounted the beginning of the event until finally he was trapped in a mysterious forest area.

"Suddenly Hanif was stuck on the roadside to the forest that Hanif himself did not know what the name of the region was. The feeling never passed that place before."

"Ga away from Hanif's car, there was a mysterious woman, her appearance was hazy. He saw Hanif from behind a tree."

"A long time from there also suddenly there was a thick fog, so Hanif could not see again the atmosphere around. But all of a sudden there's grandparents standing next to Hanif's car and knocking on Hanif's windshield, saying ask for a ride to get him home."

"Keep you give me a ride?"

"Yes kek, before Hanif telephones a friend who understands this problem, he said tell follow the orders of the grandfather, so Hanif give a ride to him, as well as Hanif's team find a way out."

Grandpa Dedi was silent for a moment, then said, "What's the end of it?"

"The grandfathers got into the car, a bit goosebumps actually, the look in his eyes was straight ahead. Continuing to make the serem, the figure of the woman who saw Hanif from behind the tree came out and the look in his eyes seemed to be very angry with these grandparents. But just as the old man looked at the woman, suddenly the woman disappeared."

"Continue?"

"The grandfather told Hanif to drive his car, straight ahead and not turn. Actually horrified because the streets did not look at all, strangely the special lights fog in the car also died, but the grandfathers were still making the road continue."

"Nearly ten minutes Hanif driving and that's the direction just straight, suddenly the grandfather said stop and say thank you to Hanif because he said he had arrived at the destination. Loh Hanif was confused, the situation around was still closed in fog but the grandfather knew that he had reached where he wanted."

"Newly Hanif wants nanya from where the grandfather knows that he has reached the destination, suddenly the fog is gone so and strangely, strangely, Hanif was also suddenly at the starting place of Hanif's actual stop, by the side of a large highway."

"But, just as Hanif was looking, the grandfather was not there. Hanif looked at the back of the car too, and there was no way he could have gotten out of the car, for sure if he came out there heard the sound of opening and closing the door."

Hanif ended his story that experienced a strange incident on the road earlier. Grandfather Dedi listened to her with occasional asking and nodding his head.

Finally, after a moment of silence, Grandpa Dedi said, "It seems that Khodam has your friend helping you."

"Khodam? What else does cake mean?" hanif asked did not understand.

"It's hard to explain but easy like this, your friend has a guard or a companion, whether it's put in a ring or some other heirloom, well khodam is placed in the object and at any time can be issued to be asked for help."

"Camping? Jin or satan that's what it means?"

"More or less so."

"Why do you think you understand the same problem?" Hanif asked curiously.

With a smile Grandfather said, "Your friends who are city people and children yesterday afternoon can only understand the problem of this occult thing, let alone grandfather who lived from ancient times and lived in the village, he said, must be a little understanding of this problem even though it is not as expert as your friend."

Flashbacks.

"Gold, come!" Seen the young Kemala

calling Imas from behind pohoh rambutan not far from Asih house.

Imas immediately approached Kemala, and asked, "Why?"

"You from the Asih house? Why?" Ask Kemala.

"It's none of your business."

"You!" Kemala was offended by the reply that Imas gave because so far no one dared to act disrespectfully with her because of her status as the daughter of Juragan Slamet.

"Loh why? Is there a problem with me?" Ask Imas with his arrogant style.

"Don't be rude, you know who I am. I'm Kemala the daughter of Juragan Slamet."

"What if you're the daughter of the Slamet Scout? Is it my same business?"

"The.."

"Why are you two talking in the middle of the street like this?" There was a voice of a man who turned out to be Dedi.

"Eh, Mas Dedi." Answer Imas with a smile.

Kemala only glanced at Dedi without greeting him.

"You why? How did I see someone else in the storm?" Ask Dedi back.

"Don't know this Kemala, just called me but it was immediately angry itself." Imas replied while staring cynically at Kemala.

"Don't tell me you are. I asked you to be okay, but you didn't think the answer would be that." Reply Kemala fierce.

"Have not fought here, it's not good to see people."

"Well, what are the three of you doing here?" Suddenly Asih came towards them without the three of them knowing.

"Well, Asih. Where are you going?" Asked Dedi who was surprised to see the sudden arrival of Asih.

"You go to the stall for a second. What's up, huh?"

"It's none of your business!" Answer Kemala ketus.

Asih and Dedi were surprised to hear that answer, they were both confused why Kemala seemed to dislike the actions of Asih who approached the three of them at this time.

"Already, now back to each other's affairs, don't stop halfway like this, it's not nice." Said Dedi giving advice and trying to melt the atmosphere.

Imas and Kemala immediately left Asih and Dedi without saying goodbye to the two. Asih and Dedi can only stroke the chest looking at the behavior of Kemala and Imas who look very childish like this.
