CHAPTER 34

My gaze was straight at Manda's mother who was standing in front of the blackboard . He is explaining the subject matter of Biology .I tried to focus on the lessons but it was very difficult.

My mind kept thinking about the matchmaking that my parents had planned. Many times I have refused. But they don't seem to care at all about my feelings . They always say this is what's best for me.

They even plan to want Reymon and me engaged as soon as possible. They want the engagement to be tied up with my sweet seventheen birthday next month.

Without realizing it, my tears fell. I hurried over and rubbed my cheek. Nita who had been watching me was astonished.

Nita nudged my arm with her arm slowly. I looked towards him .Nita raised both eyebrows as if asking for an explanation as to why I was crying.

I shook my head slowly, Nita's face was disappointed because it did not get any explanation from me.I also forced a bitter smile.

The home sign reads .I took a long breath .It felt relieved because the lesson hour was over.

Manda's mother also dropped out of the class .I hurried to tidy up the books and put them in my beloved backpack.I ignored Nita who had been watching me.

I was silent .. I was disappointed with Bram who had no news .Even his number cannot be reached .But the problem I'm facing is bigger now .It concerns my future.

I don't know how to resist my parents' wishes. On the one hand, I don't want to disappoint my parents. But on the other hand, I don't like the man I'm going to marry.
