Episode 9's. Manager Ma

"Ready lady, leave it to me. The car will definitely be overtaken." replied the taxi driver confidently.

Ling drove quickly, taxi drivers were no less fast. "Sir, increase the speed of the car!" pinta Su Li Xia when he saw Ling's car getting further away.

Without hesitation, the taxi driver stepped on the gas pedal to the maximum. In an instant the taxi car was already beside Ling's car.

Su Li Xia opened the window glass, he tried to stop the speed of Ling's car which was sometimes in front of the taxi he was riding in. Ling who was in a hurry to return to the company did not press Su Li Xia's call.

"Who is this young lady? Why did he keep chasing Ling? What's he gonna do?" ling asked in his mind.

Ling sped up the speed of his car, occasionally the two cars were stuck together until almost scattered. Ling finally arrived at the company, he got into the executive's special parking lot. Taxi chasing him left outside the building, not everyone can enter the parking lot made specifically for the car of the company officials.

Su Li Xia got off the car, she called out Ling's name repeatedly until the red car was no longer visible in her eyes.

"Huhhhhhhhhhhh... At times like this it turns out that Ling's rock-hard attitude is very unhelpful huh!" su Li Xia complained after exhaling a long breath.

Ling got out of his car, he immediately walked into the elevator and headed to the top floor where Su Li Xia's workroom was located.

Ling stared down from the glass wall that was inside the room, he thought back to the woman who kept calling him earlier.

"Is that person one of Miss Su's enemies? Or was he the man assigned to spy on Ling?" thought Ling.

"Ah, stop. Ling still had to check the confinement report" Ling said as he looked at the pile of documents on the table.

Meanwhile Su Li Xia tried to think what he could do in order to meet Ling. On the way back, Su Li Xia looked for job vacancies that were open at the H.M.International company via her mobile phone. After searching for a while, he found a vacancy as a personal assistant in Zenus company. The company was registered under the name Ling.

The real owner of the Zenus company was Su Li Xia. He built his own company that was not associated with the H.M International company. On the orders of Su Li Xia, the vacancy was made by Ling a week before the poisoning.

Su Li Xia sent a job application to Zenus' company via her phone, although she was not sure she would be accepted to work there, she hoped to see Ling during a job interview later.

Ling asked Manager Ma for financial statements this month, the man had not provided the report requested by Ling even though a week had passed. Ling finally went to Manager Ma's office to take it personally.

"Where's the report Ling asked for?" ling asked as soon as he walked into Manager Ma's room.

"Assistant Ling, the report is too complicated. Please give me time to clean it up" Manager Ma reasoned.

"Manager Ma, it has been 1 week since Ling asked for the report and Manager Ma is still not done with it?" asked Ling with a cold look.

"That's..."

Not yet had Manager Ma finish his words, Ling cut him off from impatience.

"If Manager Ma cannot complete the task within 1 hour from now, then Manager Ma's position will be revoked and replaced by a more decent person." Ling threatened with a serious face.

The man was speechless with a face that looked panicked, cold sweat coming out from the pores of his rough face.

"I'll submit the report as soon as possible!" said Manager Ma who was in a hurry to find the report file requested by Ling.

Ling opened his laptop that he always carried everywhere, he looked at the list of job applicants who had long been abandoned by him. After seeing all the candidates who had submitted applications, Ling's eyes were fixed on one name, "Su Li Xia".

"The same name as the President." muttered Ling.

Ling was intrigued by the name, she sent the time and place of the interview to the email listed on Su Li Xia's job application letter.

"Tok Tok Tok!"

The door on tap from the outside, Ling looked towards the door then said, "Come in!"

Manager Ma entered with a report file in his hand, he placed the report file on Ling's desk.

"This is the report you asked for." said Manager Ma.

"Thank you." Ling replied.

Manager Ma looked at Ling sharply, he hated the woman so much. The woman he thought had always been his rival, both past and present. Ling who was a junior in his college, was extremely talented in every way. Manager Ma's grades have always lost to Ling ever since the woman walked into his college. From then on, Manager Ma vowed to defeat Ling. But until now, there had not been a single time Manager Ma had won from the woman.

Manager Ma's hatred grew even more when Ling showed up at the company he worked for. Moreover, Ling was immediately assigned to work as a personal assistant to the President who he admired.

Manager Ma feels burdened working in the same place as Ling, the woman who always wins from him. But he did not want to quit this job, because the income in this company is much greater than in other companies.

"Manager Ma!" call Ling.

"Yes?" manager Ma replied with a panicked face after waking up from his daydream.

"Is there anything Manager Ma wants to say to Ling?" ask the woman.

"No, no." replied Manager Ma quickly.

"Then why is Manager Ma still here?" asked Ling with an annoyed face.

"Sorry, I'll be right out" Manager Ma replied in a hurry.

Ling examined the report carefully, within 15 minutes the woman had gotten what she wanted. Ling pressed the red button on the table, not long after which a secretary knocked on Ling's door.

"Assistant Ling, are you looking for me?" ask a beautiful woman named Felicia.

"Yes, from now on, this case will be handed over to Felicia" Ling said as he submitted the financial statements that had just been examined.

Felicia picked up and looked at the report given by Ling. He looked very surprised to see the numbers that Ling had already marked.

"Sorry, Assistant Ling... This.." said Felicia hesitated.

Unfinished with the words Felicia was about to ask, Ling immediately replied, "Seek everyone who is on that list of names! The evidence is complete, we just need to find a law enforcement expert in a case like this! Do it quickly and spread this news to all the media!" ling's orders to Felicia.

"Why am I assigned to this business anyway?" felicia complained in thought but she replied to Ling by saying, "Well, I'll do it as soon as possible."
