Episode 56's. Stepbrother

Su Li Xia contacted Ling, he waited for a while before Ling answered the phone.

"Ling, meet me at the hospital!" su Li Xia's orders after Ling answered a phone call from him.

"Miss, I don't seem to have time to see you. I've sent all the CCTV footage to your email. Thank you for taking care of me all this time."

Ling no longer made a sound, Su Li Xia realized that something had happened to his assistant.

Su Li Xia immediately stood up, he dashed out of the room. Lu Xuan Cheng followed Su Li Xia. After arriving outside, Su Li Xia looked to the left right, looking for a taxi car he could ride in. Realizing that Su Li Xia was panicking, Lu Xuan Cheng pulled the woman's arm, he brought Su Li Xia towards his car.

Lu Xuan Cheng opened the car door. "Lake in!" he said to Su Li Xia. The woman directly got into the car, as did Lu Xuan Cheng who took over the driving position.

"Where?" ask the man.

"Moon Building." replied Su Li Xia.

The car immediately rolled off, 15 minutes later they arrived at his destination. Su Li Xia got down from the car, he ran towards Ling's apartment. Without knocking, Su Li Xia immediately opened the door of Ling's apartment that he knew the code of his password.

Ling was lying on the floor, she was holding her bloody stomach. Su Li Xia immediately did the first treatment, he closed the wound on Ling's stomach that seemed to be caused by a firearm.

Lu Xuan Cheng lost track of Su Li Xia, he was left behind as the woman climbed into the elevator. Lu Xuan Cheng searched from the 1st floor of the Moon building to the 8th floor. The elevator door opened, Lu Xuan Cheng was about to exit but he stopped his steps. The man stared straight ahead, Su Li Xia standing in front of the door while carrying Ling's body with both hands.

Lu Xuan Cheng immediately took over, he lifted Ling's body from Su Li Xia's hands. They then headed to the hospital, coincidentally the nearest hospital was the hospital where Su Li Xia was treated.

Already 2 hours Su Li Xia waited in front of the operating room, Lu Xuan Cheng accompanied beside him. He sent a message to George, asking his assistant to buy him drinks and food.

A few minutes later, George arrived at the waiting room. He brought 2 cups of coffee and a plastic wrap containing several pieces of sandwiches inside.

Lu Xuan Cheng approached Su Li Xia, he told the woman to eat and drink first even if only a little. Su Li Xia received the sandwich from Lu Xuan Cheng's hand, he bit and chewed slowly without speaking.

"Drink this!" Lu Xuan Cheng gave one cup of coffee to Su Li Xia. The woman picked up and immediately drank the coffee without saying a word.

After finishing all the food, Lu Xuan Cheng asked the woman beside him. "You want to add?"

Su Li Xia turned his head to the side, staring at the man's face. "No, thank you."

"You seem very calm in this situation" Lu Xuan Cheng said.

"What's wrong with my calm attitude? Should I be panicking?" Su Li Xia raised his eyebrows, he really did not understand what Lu Xuan Cheng meant to say like that.

"Usually, humans will panic if they are in your position." Lu Xuan Cheng explained.

"I don't need to panic because I know the bullet didn't touch Ling's internal organs. So nothing bad will happen unless the doctor who operated on Ling is a self-styled doctor." Su Li Xia replied with great confidence.

Lu Xuan Cheng immediately realized there was something strange about Su Li Xia's words, he looked at the woman then asked her.

"Ah, fuck! I'm even flabbergasted." Su Li Xia's mind.

Su Li Xia smiled, he then replied. "That's because I have see-through eyes."

This answer was certainly considered a joke to Lu Xuan Cheng, but in fact Su Li Xia did indeed possess that power. He realized his strength when he was 5 years old.

"Are your eyes also able to see my body even though I'm already wearing full clothes?" goda Lu Xuan Cheng's.

"Yes, I see everything." Su Li Xia replied lying.

Translucent eyes could only be used when Su Li Xia was very focused on staring at the object, so not all objects looked translucent by him.

Lu Xuan Cheng laughed then smiled, a sincere smile that was the first time in his life. Su Li Xia was even a little fascinated to see the smile on the man's face.

Su Li Xia looked at Lu Xuan Cheng who was still smiling. "Often smile like this, your face looks handsome when you smile sincerely" Su Li Xia suddenly said.

Hearing the handsome word made Lu Xuan Cheng's face turn red. He turned his face the other way so as not to be caught if he was embarrassed by the praise from Su Li Xia.

After being silent for a while, Lu Xuan Cheng asked Su Li Xia.

"What is your relationship with Su Li Xia? Why are your names the same? Even your clans are the same."

"She's my half-sister." Su Li Xia replied briefly.

Lu Xuan Cheng immediately turned his head, looking at Su Li Xia. "You brothers?" asked the man with a surprised face.

"Yes, I'm his half-sister."

Su Li Xia felt astonished, why was this man beside her so shocked to hear that Su Li Xia was his half-sister.

"Geez, I might like my brother and sister at the same time. I'm even worse than an asshole" Lu Xuan Cheng thought.

A doctor came out of the operating room, Su Li Xia immediately stood up then asked the doctor. "Is Ling okay?"

The doctor nodded, he removed the mask then answered a question from Su Li Xia. "The bullet only penetrates in the skin and does not hit his organs. The bullet has also been removed so the patient will be fine now."

"Thank you doctor" Su Li Xia said with a smile.

Ling was taken to the treatment room, Su Li Xia requested that Ling's room and her sister's room be combined only. Lu Xuan Cheng initially wanted to refuse, but he ended up following the wishes of Su Li Xia as the woman's face made Lu Xuan Cheng's heart weak.

"Please take care of them both. There are important things that I have to do." he told Lu Xuan Cheng.
