Life is a Fight
Encounter With Abi

This morning after the dawn prayer Izar again laid his body on the mat. Before long he seemed to have fallen asleep.

"Mi, Izar how do you sleep again?" asked Fira this morning when she had breakfast.

"Let's son, Mas Izar was still sleepy, must have been tired also at 2 o'clock just came home," replied Umi while waiting for his daughter to have breakfast.

"Kasian Mas Izar ya Mi, his friends like to hang out on the school deck Killa but Mas Izar is busy working," said Killa who was wearing a hijab.

"Dear, that's why Ms. Fira and Dek Killa studied diligently, son, so that one day they could avenge Mas Izar's struggle for us," Umi said to her two daughters.

Fira was silent, it turned out that his decision not to allow Izar to work at his school was not right. Therefore, the brother now works from late afternoon until the early morning just come home and it is definitely not good for the health of Izar.

"Fira why diem, son?" ask Umi wonder.

"Fira is wrong, yes Mi, forbidding Mas Izar from working at Fira's school" he said while hugging Umi.

Umi immediately grabbed her daughter's body, while occasionally kissing the girl's forehead.

"Fira should not be ashamed, instead Fira is proud to have a sister like Mas Izar." Umi gives advice to Fira.

"Fira is not ashamed Mi, for the sake of Allah Fira is not so," he said while looking at Umi.

"Then?"

"Fira does not allow it because Fira is ashamed of Mi, precisely because Fira does not have the heart to see Mas Izar work hard while Fira is in a comfortable class, Fira can not see Mi," obviously Fira to Umi while shedding tears.

"Your son, it's all over. Pray Mas Izar cepet dapet work so as not to stay up every mall so yes,"

"Yes, Umi." Fira nodded while wiping her tears.

After breakfast and prepare the two beautiful girls also say goodbye to go to school. After driving her daughter out of the house, Umi again approached her son who was still asleep. His face was so shady, looking very tired at the look of that handsome face. Sometimes Umi rubbed her hair while kissing her favorite son's forehead.

"Umi," said Izar woke up after a few times Umi kissed his forehead.

"I'm sorry Mas, Umi interrupted Mas Izar's rest," replied Umi with a smile.

"No Papa Mi,"

"Sleep again, son, while Umi pinched yes," said Umi still sticking her lips on Izar's forehead.

"The sisters have left Mi" he asked again.

"It's already a half-seven."

Izar fell asleep again after being massaged by Uminya. Umi's sincerity and affection are her biggest reasons for fighting for her little family.

True wise advice, everything that happens must have a silver lining. Likewise with Izar at this time, because he works in the afternoon more time is spent with Umi. Since he opened his eyes he had seen Umi and it was his own happiness for him.

Azan asar reverberated, Izar immediately took a bath and then took ablution after a day just spent joking laughter with Uminya.

After the prayer, he immediately prepared to leave for the martabak shop where his workplace was temporary. No matter what results he got he was always grateful, as well as Umi who never demanded the fortune given by his son, even though they were accustomed to living luxury before this.

Arriving at the store, he was so busy helping Faris who was preparing material materials for his trade. Slicing chives, making martabak dough to clean the place of sale he did with pleasure. Faris was so amazed to see the hard work of Izar which incidentally is from the middle to upper class. It makes Faris very curious what really happened to Izar, but the time is not right to ask.

At exactly 17.00 wib, some customers began to come, the longer the more crowded visitors even more visitors from the previous day, until they were forced to perform magrib prayers alternately. The night the martabak shop is getting crowded. Several times Izar massaged his own back that felt sore. Just as he had rested for a moment, his eyes were shocked by the arrival of the three customers he knew.

The closer, the clearer Izar's view of who came. Faris looked at Izar as if to explain something. The customer who came was Abi with his wife and child.

"Mas Faris, ask for help in the future, yes" he pleaded.

"Isn't that .." she answered hanging.

"Help, please" he asked once more, pleading.

Faris soon met the customer he knew, but Faris was surprised the man came with an unusual woman. He was sure if the one who came was Izar's father but according to his memory it was not his mother. After taking down the order, Faris returned with a million questions in mind.

"Mas now know why Izar is like this?" tanyanya while making martabak with Faris.

"So that's your father, but that woman isn't your mother and sister?" guess Faris while looking at Izar's eyes that seemed to hold back her tears.

"Yes, it's Mas,"

"If you want to cry, you don't need to be held," said Faris could not bear to see the view of Izar so empty. Many times his eyes stole a glance towards his father.

Many times he said, his heart was not because he saw their laughter. At the time he had to slam bones for Umi and her sisters precisely his father was happy with his new life.

"Yes Allah ... I never thought I was this sick," Izar said, wiping away the tears that had suddenly dripped.

At the same time, there were some customers who also came to make Faris confused and finally Izar came out from behind the store where he was selling.

His heart thumped as his father looked at him. While enjoying martabak with his wife and son, the father also watched Izar who was recording a visitor order.

Izar tried to smile in front of his father.

"Abi," he called slowly.

"You do it here" said the father, continuing to enjoy his favorite martabak. Bella and her mother were silent as if they did not care about the presence of her husband's son.

"Bi's business here" he replied politely but held all the feelings in his heart.

"Work? Where your Umi is not the responsibility of his son in telling this work," said his wife haughty.

"Sorry Mom, don't bring my Umi. The issue of responsibility myself and my brothers, Abi must be more understanding. Excuse me for work again" said Izar.

He could no longer hold back his tears. He ran away from the martabak shop. He sat there sobbing under a tree some distance from his shop. Faris also let, he tried to stop all the customers who came. About 15 minutes Izar cried sobbing under the tree, he tried to get up, wipe his tears and came back to Faris who looked busy processing martabak.

"Izar came home first did not papa really," said Faris saw the eyes of Izar pembab.

"No, I'm sorry Izar stayed for a while. Can Izar help you?" he asked, closing his eyes for a moment.

His father was still in that place but he was sure he could stand up to the reality.

"Please intercede this for mbak that blue hijab can be? Total Rp. 45,000" said Faris giving martabak in cardboard.

He also walked up to the customer intended by Faris, several times he walked in front of his parents. Izar always walked quickly as he passed the father who was joking with laughter with his new family.

Faris was really moved to see the fortitude of Izar, he even shed tears to see what happened to his partner.

"What's strong is Umi and the sisters at home" Faris told Izar after seeing his father leave the store.

"Yes Mas, God willing, this pain in the heart will soon pass when you see Umi later at home," replied Izar as he continued to take part and rubbed his chest that felt so tight.

Izar went home with extreme pain in witnessing the happiness of his Abinya with other women in front of his eyes. The sadness seemed to carry over until the day changed.

"Mas," called Umi slowly as she watched her son fall silent on the floor covered in mats.

Izar just kept quiet. He didn't answer, or maybe because he didn't listen. Umi repeated her greeting.

Again he did not hear a call from Umi, making him worried and immediately walked up to his son.

"Muhammad Nadhif Abizar, Umi's favorite," he said, touching his shoulder.

"Umi made Izar shocked," he replied while turning his head.

"Umi's son why daydream? Can't say no papa," said Umi gently while continuing to wipe his son's forehead.

"Wow, Izar has to answer what dong Mi is, it's not papa really," he said smiling.

"Look at it." Umi held her son's chin to lift the face that had seemed to be bowed but as fast as lightning she put away her soft hand.

"Son," called Umi trying to look Izar in the eye but failed.

Umi grabbed his son's body and leaned Izar's head on his shoulders.

"Let's see Umi's eyes, son." Umi asks her son again but still does not want to.

His eyes were swollen, there was no way he could show that awareness to his beloved Umi.

"Izzar's crying?" ask Umi to guess.

"No Mi," he answered while playing his finger.

"Take a look at Umi" he asked again.

Izar fell silent again, indeed he did not have the talent to lie especially to Uminya.

Izar instantly changed his position, he hugged Umi so tightly. No tears came back, again and again after the incident last night.

"Umi's son why are you crying?" umi asked as she wiped the tears on her son's cheek.

"Sorry Mi, Izar cengeng. It should not be a weak man like this," he said now looking into Umi's eyes with tears.

"Son, listen to Umi .. crying is not a sign of weakness. Sometimes, if the mouth is no longer able to express the will of the heart, then the water will show how we feel now" he said while continuing to wipe Izar's tears.

Izar hugged Uminya so tightly, there was calm there while in the arms of the mother.

"Izar is tired, son?" asked Umi while rubbing her hair.

He shook. Makes Umi more confused exactly what happened to Izar.

"Kalo Izar is tired, already yes Nak do not be forced. Let Umi alone work," said Umi concluded himself because since his parents separated his son who became the backbone of the family.

"No, Izar will continue to work for Umi and our family."

"But why did Mas Izar cry, the same story Umi, son."

"I'm sorry Mi, Izar has made Umi worried," he said now he has not shed tears again.

"Umi can know, Mas Izar Umi's favorite is why?" tanyanya gently.

"Fira, Mi."

"What's the same with Fira? Why is Izar crying so?" tanya Umi now changed her expression.

"Sorry Mi, if Izar's story makes Umi sad,"

"Look's story, now," said Umi impatiently knowing what really happened.

"Izar can not imagine how Fira feels every day to meet Abi," explained izar to Umi.

"Why did Mas Izar suddenly talk about Abi?" ask Umi wonder.

Izar took a deep breath before telling Uminya, he made sure that his tears did not fall again when telling Umi.

"Night Abi bought martabak in Izar's place,"

"Continue?" Umi was curious.

"His wife even in fact Umi why Izar let work, he alluded to the responsibility of Umi but Abi just diem aja see his wife so to Izar. Abi should be offended by Mi, Izar and the younger siblings should be Abi's responsibility, Mi. Even if the parents are separated, the child remains the responsibility of his parents until later marriage, Abi who teaches us about religious obedience, but Abi himself who denies." said Izar while staring at the teary-eyed Umi.

Before replying, Umi wiped away the teardrops that had almost dripped on her face. She must be a strong woman in front of children even though her heart is not closed so painful to hear the story of the child.

"Here you are, my son, who is clear. May God one day awaken Abi, forgive Abi, son." said Umi, wiping her son's chest.

Izar kissed Uminya's cheek, what a glorious heart. Despite being hurt, Umi still forgives. Even though it was left alone Umi remained this fresh through every day.

"But it's true that my son, Izar shouldn't work so hard. Umi should work for you, not Izar who should work for Umi" he said again.

"No. Umi can't work. Umi can not fix it just like that, if she is a good woman, she should understand what she did wrong. The women's good times seduce people's husbands," she said full of anger.

"Had son, yes already .. The more we discuss about it later the more hurtful Izar. As Mas Izar said, if Abi can be happy without us, we must be happy without Abi. We start from the beginning, son. God tests us because God believes we can get through it." Umi kissed her son repeatedly.

"Yes Mi, thank you Umi has taught real science to Izar. Science that Izar never got during Izar's education."

"We strengthen each other, son. No need to find out who is right who is wrong, just enjoy the flow that God has set for us, do not complain much."

"Yes Umiku dear," he said he was now smiling in Umi's arms.

"No more crying, right?" tease Umi in the interlude of laughter.

"No, no, Mi,"

Izar still hugged Uminya tightly. He looks very spoiled in the deck of Umi.

"Mas Izar you know, what Umi was most afraid of when little Mas Izar first?" asked Umi while occasionally kissing her son.

"What Mi?"

"When Mas Izar cried," he said with a smile.

"Umi, Izar ngeledekin yes," he replied with a frown.

"Dearnest, Umi was really most afraid if Mas Izar cry,"

"Why is that Mi?" tanyanya is now curious about her childhood.

"If you cry, you must ask for pizza with ice cream, then you can buy it. Therefore, Umi was afraid not to end this Mas Izar also so. Kan Umi has no money," she replied with a laugh.

"Umiiii .. really did not bother me Izar," he said spoiled while staring at Umi.

They also laughed together, although it was painful in the depths of his heart.
