Episode 9

Although Yanto knew that the five people who beat him up were the Geng Salam, he had no choice but to let this matter pass. Fortunately, the five did not seriously injure Yanto. The man who had hired Yanto to transport the sand had taken him to the hospital, where he underwent an examination before receiving some money as a sign of his grief.

The day was sunny, with a warm breeze giving an added touch of warmth. The school is packed with people as it prepares for its 23rd annual sports festival. The campus is decorated with lights and full of excitement.

Tomorrow is the day of the sports festival, so everyone is of course happy. The temporary class was suspended due to the event.

Night fell in the city, and some street lights illuminated the area that had actually prospered in a simple manner. That dim light created a long shadow of pedestrians walking through the streets.

At the time, the only nightclub in town, "Temptation Dance Cafe," was open for business. Although it is called a nightclub, it is actually a discotheque with some other activities in it. Everyone knows what those activities are.

Although it was not too late at night, the place was already crowded, signifying an irresistible attraction.

From a distance, catchy music from the Cafe Dance of Temptation is heard. The rhythm is so inviting that it tempts everyone to dance. Albert felt a bit uneasy but kept his spirits up and headed to the nightclub.

Albert dressed casual, even somewhat shabby, as the local thugs on the street usually wore cheap clothes and looked dirty.

Since tomorrow is the day of the sports festival, afternoon classes are eliminated. Albert hasn't told his parents about this, so they still think he's taking lessons. This allowed Albert to go to the discotheque without any worries.

Before getting into the discotheque, Albert noticed two muscular men standing at the entrance. They are clearly strong and exceed the definition of average male strength. The two men surrounded the discotheque, guarding the surroundings.

Albert, as an intelligent person, soon realizes that the two men are there to keep the security. As Albert approached the entrance, the two men glanced at him, and one of them casually said, "Well, this kid doesn't look like a troublemaker. What's he doing here?"

"Sst, lower your voice! Why are you saying such absurd things? Focus on your own duties, why interfere in the affairs of others? To be honest, if we were outside, someone would've hit you, you know?"

The other man looked at her sharply and scolded her. It seems like one of them is a new member while the other is an old member when viewed their interaction.

After getting into the discotheque, Albert looked for an empty chair and sat down. Soon, a young man with bleached hair approached him, carrying what appeared to be a notebook, perhaps a book to record orders.

The young man with the bleached hair stood beside Albert and asked, "Master, what do you want to order?"

Albert shook his hand and replied, "Sorry, I don't want anything."

"Hmm," the young man's expression instantly became sour, and he resolutely said to Albert, "Little sister, do you not know the rules here, or do you pretend not to know?"

"What rules?" ask Albert.

"Everyone who enters must spend at least fifty thousand. Understood?"

Albert did not want to start a confrontation with this security guard from the start, so he reluctantly took out his last fifty thousand and bought a bottle of cheap red wine.

Albert sat on a chair, holding a glass of red wine. Inside, many men and women danced and shook their heads following the music. Not long after Albert sat down, he heard a delicate voice coming from behind him.

"Duh, why is this young man drinking alone here?" With those words, a woman wearing black stockings, dressed openly, and with a firm chest approached.

This woman had an amazing body and a smooth face, no less beautiful than Lina. At this time, Albert understood the meaning of the saying "above the sky, there is still the sky".

"Hey, young man, are you waiting for someone or just enjoying the solitude?" The woman gently placed her jewel-like hand on Albert's shoulder.
