Episode 8

Albert walked alone, on a small street leading to the school playground. The flowers on both sides of the road started to wither, but the fragrance still felt tight. The scenery was beautiful, but Albert did not have the mood to appreciate it, nor did he have the mood to enjoy the fragrance of the flower.

"Hey, Albert, wait for me," a soft voice sounded not far from behind. The one speaking was a girl, and the girl was none other than Rina.

With a petite body, graceful style, a pretty face, and a melodious voice, that was Lina, the girl who had captured the hearts of more than half of the boys in school.

Rina quickly chased after Albert and said, "By the way, Albert, tomorrow is school sports day. You must come! I thought you could join a long distance running or a fast running match. You can definitely win the championship, just like always."

Rina continued speaking unconsciously, but unfortunately, Albert did not seem to be listening at all. His expression remained flat, as if he had no interest in the school sports day, as if he did not care at all.

Albert's unusual behavior made Rina feel a little confused, and she couldn't help but feel uneasy.

Suddenly, a familiar face suddenly appeared before Albert and Lina's eyes. Yeah, that's Benny.

"Hey, little couple, what are you doing here, having a conversation?" Benny looked at Lina with a flirtatious look and slowly walked over to her.

"Omong empty, go!" Lina looked at Benny sharply and shouted furiously.

"Oh, oh, oh, did I offend you? Should you be angry like this?" Benny paused for a moment and continued mischievously, "Tell me, you two better find a secluded little inn if you want to kiss someday. Because it wouldn't be nice if I met you guys again, would it? Is that right, Albert? Right, right?"

Albert kept his head bowed, walking slowly as if he had not heard what Benny had said, showing no reaction at all. Rina looks at Albert, hoping secretly that he will say something, despite having to rebuke Benny. But alas, Albert remained silent.

Maybe he was still scared after Benny and his friends beat him up some time ago, Rina thought inwardly. When that thought came up, he suddenly heard a loud shout, or rather, a swearing.

"Benny, sleep with your mother!"

Albert, who was always polite and calm, suddenly let out a rude swearing and made Lina surprised. He could hardly believe his hearing and wondered if he heard it properly. According to his memory, Albert had never uttered a curse before. He was always a good student.

"You little boy, do you feel good?" Benny suddenly approached, pulling Albert's collar, his right hand clenched into a fist, as if he was about to hit Albert.

"Don't think I'm afraid of you!" Albert suddenly pointed a finger at Benny. Even though his hand was trembling slightly, he still stretched it out. At the very least, Albert's face showed anger, courage, and a determined expression.

"What the hell? What is the sunrise from the west today?" Benny opened his mouth wide, staring at Albert ferociously. However, in his heart, Benny felt a touch of fear. He was afraid Albert would insult him for real. If that happened, his reputation would be ruined.

In fact, in a one-on-one fight, Benny might not be comparable to Albert. In addition, Benny's plump body couldn't move quickly, and the only thing to be proud of was probably just that he didn't feel much pain when hit, as his fat absorbed most of the impact.

They are all friends of Benny, friends who are always loyal together in joy and sorrow. Seeing that Benny might be in trouble, how could they just shut up? Dino was the first to arrive next to Benny.

Glancing at Albert, Dino asked Benny, "Benny, what did this little boy do to you?"

After hearing Dino's words, Benny's other friends also gathered one by one. When Albert saw the crowd growing, he still showed a reasonable expression, but he lowered the hand that had been pointed towards Benny.

"What is this, how dare you bother Benny? Wanna die?" said a bespectacled person cynically, pointing and whispering.

Albert ignored the bespectacled man, because he knew the man always liked to look for trouble. After a while, the glasses guy yelled again, "Hey, Albert, are you going to apologize to Benny and lower your head, or are we going to finish it outside after school?"

Albert's expression remained calm, as if nothing had happened. As he was about to speak, they saw three school guards approaching.

"Hey, what are you doing there?" shouted the guard from a distance, while raising the voice.

It was better to avoid unnecessary trouble, let alone there being some school guards. Seeing the guards approaching, Benny released Albert's grip.

"Albert, let's see. One day, I'll make you beg for mercy on your knees."

"Sure, I'll wait for you to make me beg for mercy on my knees. But until that time comes, I will make you beg for mercy by kneeling down as well" Albert replied.

"Come, we're going."

Benny, Dino, and the others brandished their heads and slowly left.

Albert knew the importance of strength in large numbers. He realized that he was alone and could not make a big impact. If he wanted Benny to kneel before him, he needed to have a great influence as well. Doing everything alone is not enough.

Then, Albert suddenly remembered the discotheque.

He thought about going to the discotheque. Maybe he can get a shortcut, establish a relationship with some trouble-maker, and soon enough, he will have some leverage.

With this in mind, Albert secretly decided to go to the discotheque tonight and see what happened.
