Legend of the Mafia

Legend of the Mafia
Episode 7's

Albert, who was quite injured, was eventually taken to the hospital by Rina. The cost of basic care and bandages costs a certain amount. Upon returning home, Albert's mother, Suci, was shocked to see the condition of her son and stormed him with questions.

However, Albert looks relaxed and says that he fell into a ditch while riding his bike and that is why his face was injured. Saints had no choice but to trust him because he and everyone always saw Albert as a good boy. At least until now, she had always been one of the best students in her class.

The next day was Saturday, which meant there was no school. Albert took advantage of the rare opportunity to sleep soundly. Because Albert's father, Yanto, was working out of town, he had no time to keep an eye on Albert at this time. In Yanto's eyes, Albert was an obedient and accomplished child at school, so he didn't have to worry about it.

To his surprise, Yanto returned home before noon. After almost a year of not coming home, the sudden arrival of his father made Albert excited. Although he plans to sleep for a while longer, Albert wakes up at the sight of his father's arrival. They had a short conversation, and Albert went back to learning.

Not long after returning home, a rich man from their village came to take Yanto to work. He wants Yanto to come to his house the day after tomorrow to help transport sand, offer payment and food. Of course, Yanto did not refuse. Earning money is not easy in the countryside, and even though they are familiar, when it comes to work, people still expect pay.

The day after tomorrow was Monday, school day, and Albert went to school early. Today, there are no afternoon study sessions, and Albert can go home during the day.

At school, Albert can't avoid meeting Benny, Dino, and the others. Benny, Dino, and the others did not denounce him or look for trouble with him. However, their view of Albert now seemed to contain a hint of disgust and disdain.

Albert was well aware that he had no money or influence. It's only natural that he doesn't have close friends at school, because he's just focused on learning. When it comes to fighting, he has to face it himself. How could one person stand against several people or even dozens of people?

Benny's power and influence in school is growing, something that is clearly seen by Albert. Unfortunately, Albert cannot compare himself to Benny in that regard. Nothing can be compared.

After school, Albert packed his bag and pedaled his bike home. However, as soon as he arrived, he witnessed a heart-wrenching sight that made him feel miserable.

His father was lying in their little grass hut, where they cooked food. He was wearing shabby clothes, filled with blood stains, and his face swelled up.

Albert's heart was broken. He put down his bag and immediately hugged his father, asking what happened. When his father recounted the incident, Albert's anger intensified.

Apparently, Yanto was driving a tractor, hauling sand. As he approached their village, one van suddenly blocked his path. Five young men with light-colored hair came out from the van with suspicious attitudes. From their attitude, Yanto knew that these young men were local thugs, so he politely asked what they wanted. However, without any explanation, they brutally directly beat Yanto up.

Unfortunately Yanto was not even given a chance to understand what was going on as they continued to beat him to death. Yanto is a person who never messes around and never hurts others. He thinks they're wrong to catch people.

Although it might be so, these thugs did not give him the opportunity to speak and explain. They beat him without mercy. A few passers-by witnessed the scene, but no one cared or showed any concern. No one even called the police.

That is the hatred in society. Even if they see someone being mauled to death, they won't call the police!

Therefore, he could only survive by not fighting back.

Five little thugs had beaten Yanto until he lay on the ground, barely able to move. Just then, one of them suddenly threatened, "Lift him and throw him into the river near here, to drown to death."

Someone else said, "Boss, let it go. It's not good to kill like that." Finally, the five little thugs stopped.

As they left, the leader among the five thugs shouted at Yanto lying on the ground, "We Geng Salam. If you are not satisfied, meet us in Salam Village. We're ready to face you anytime."

After saying those words, Geng Salam confidently got into the van and left quietly.

Salam Village is a village, a village in this city. The five little thugs were the "Five Kings" in Salam Village, each with their own nicknames: "Bodi," "Rodi," "Modi," "Dodi," and "Kodi." Each of these five individuals has a tattoo.

Bodi is the leader, a little over 30 years old, while Kodi is the youngest, in his early twenties.

Geng Salam was known for the atrocities and riots they caused. Due to their good relationship with some leaders at the local police station, the police ignored their activities. One of the principles they followed was that as long as there were no casualties, the police station would ignore them.

Of course, to make the police station ignore him, the Five Kings did not hesitate to bribe those officials. They have raised protection money from the market and various other stalls.

Yanto remained on the street for almost half an hour. Finally, he weakly stood up and painstakingly drove the tractor back.

After returning home, Yanto intends to hide this incident, at least from his wife. But in the end, he couldn't hide it.

Seeing his father's bloodied face and a torn coat and bloodstains, Albert clasped his fist. He made a strong determination - he would achieve success and make sure the Five Kings paid for what they did.

In this society, everything depends on money and power.

With wealth and strong fists, one would not be bullied by others. As ordinary poor people, money may not be abundant, but we still have our fists. Even a person trapped in poverty who does not value his life can still create a path, a path to wealth and influence.

That night, Albert pondered a lot of things. And from that night, Albert's mind and character underwent a remarkable change.
