CHAPTER 40 - Roasted Meat

In a dark night, in a deep and mysterious forest, the body of a 7-year-old man is 4 years old, he was lying and fainting in the middle of the forest.

He was Lin Chen who was teleported by the dark god towards the exit of the Elf tribe territory.

"Luckily you're fine, you're making big brother so panicked," said Lin Zhou very pleased that Lin Chen had already regained consciousness from his stupor.

"Sister Zhou what has happened? Why am I here?" Lin Chen asked puzzled as his memory last time was chasing the forest bird.

Lin Zhou explained that Lin Chen was chasing after the huge bird that even Lin Zhou first saw into the middle of the deepest forest.

Lin Zhou chased after Lin Chen the deeper Lin Chen got away and lost track.

As Lin Zhou searched for Lin Chen's whereabouts it was fortunate that Lin Zhou found Lin Chen's body still alive and well despite fainting lying on the ground.

"Ohh so it's like that, brother, ouch!" Lin Chen felt a pain in his head but the pain suddenly disappeared instantly.

"What happened sister? Are you okay?" Lin Zhou asked very worried about Lin Chen's condition.

"I'm fine with big brother Zhou, it's probably because I fainted and I don't remember why I fainted and lay here" Lin Chen told Lin Zhou.

"Alright, let's go back to the resting place, chances are Qionlin has returned from looking for firewood," Lin Zhou told Lin Chen to take Lin Chen back to his place to build a tent to rest.

"Alright big brother Zhou," Lin Chen then helped up and walked with Lin Zhou away towards his resting place.

At the resting place Qionlin was already waiting for the arrival of Lin Zhou and Lin Chen. The Qionlin who had been waiting for a long time was worried because his young master did not return.

"Are you worried about your young master's state?" Tang Rui asked Qionlin who looked worried about Lin Chen's condition.

"Yes, Mr. Tang, it has been a few minutes that the young master has not returned with Mr. Lin Zhou, I am worried about their circumstances" said a worried Qionlin.

"Hahaha it turns out they haven't returned well, don't they get killed by the beasts in this forest? I'd better go and check it out and see it with my own eyes," bathin Tang Rui was delighted that Lin Chen and the old Lin Zhou were back with a bad premonition regarding the condition of the two of them.

"Young master!" Qionlin walked over to Lin Chen who looked exhausted.

"Currently, I think they've been killed by wild animals!" Bathin Tang Rui was approaching towards Lin Chen and Lin Zhou.

"Young master what happened to you? What's going on with you?" Qionlin asked worried about his young master.

"It's okay, I'm just exhausted from putting in a lot of energy, I just need a rest tonight" Lin Chen explained to Qionlin.

"Young master Lin Chen, what is going on inside the forest?" Tang Rui asked curiously by what happened to Lin Chen which made Lin Chen exhausted.

"I was.." Lin Chen explained that Lin Chen was chasing wild animals for food tonight, but Lin Chen did not know and did not remember what had happened to cause him to have fallen unconscious on the ground.

"So like that, it looks like you got bumped and fainted while chasing after the animal" Tang Rui said with a somewhat annoyed smile as his expectations did not match reality.

Lin Chen went to his tent and sat down.

Lin Chen tried to remember something but when he remembered about the events in the forest suddenly his head hurt and could not remember anything.
