CHAPTER 16 - I Lose

Right now their meeting after 3 years of closed-door practice has finally met each other. Lin Zhou who missed Lin Chen came directly to his residence.

Lin Zhou was very surprised to see Lin Chen's incredible development, as well as his body's growth was extremely extreme.

"Chen'er what have you done so like this?" Asked Lin Zhou who was still astonished.

"Sister Zhou, Chen'er trained for these 3 years," Lin Chen recounted for 3 years of closed-door training and Lin Chen told him all sorts of physical exercises he did.

Lin Zhou was surprised and proud of what Lin Chen was doing but Lin Zhou seemed to be unable to believe that a 1-year-old was already thinking about training because usually a 1-year-old just thought about playing but it was different with Lin Chen who was like not having asked to play like a child his age but instead trained to become a swordsman.

Lin Hu who saw the potential of his nephew was also proud to see that the younger generation was now able to reach the level of swordsman 2 at the age of 10.

As the leader of the Lin clan, Lin Hu often gave resources to his nephew in order to develop his potential and talent for the sake of the Lin clan.

So if Lin Zhou's development speed was spelled out as a genius it was also thanks to the resources of the Lin clan.

"Alright big brother Zhou, Chen'er accepted brother Zhou's sparing invitation!" Said Lin Chen then they went to the courtyard of Lin Chen's residence.

Lin Chen picked up the sword normally whereas Lin Zhou was wondering why Lin Chen used the sword?

"Sister Zhou why? Is something wrong?" Asked Lin Chen astonishedly looking at Lin Zhou.

"Chen'er, this brother of yours invites you to spar in using force, using a sword is too dangerous for you," said Lin Zhou who did not want to see Lin Chen who was 4 years old using weapons let alone sharp weapons.

"There's no way he can worry about me, brother Zhou," said Lin Chen, who was used to being spoiled by Lin Zhou.

"Sister Zhou, take it easy I won't lose that easily hehe," said Lin Chen making Lin Zhou sigh.

"Alright but just be careful!" Lin Chen then slid his sword quickly towards Lin Zhou.

Lin Zhou was surprised to see the running speed of Lin Chen was extremely fast. It was fortunate that Lin Zhou fended off an attack from Lin Chen had Lin Zhou not been wary of the possibility that Lin Chen could hit him.

Everyone in the Lin Chen residence was watching the dueling fight between Lin Chen and Lin Zhou. They were amazed at the first time they saw the results of the closed-door training of their young master.

Lin Chen had tremendous power and speed almost even matched the speed of Lin Zhou.

The two swords clashed together and the sound of the two swords pounding filled the courtyard.

Lin Chen who only capitalized on an ordinary technique in the sword overwhelmed Lin Zhou.

"Why can Chen'er be this strong!" Lin Chen who was in front of him suddenly appeared behind him. It was a basic sword technique that tricked his opponent from the front and went straight to the back with an attack.

Fortunately Lin Zhou was conscious and reflexive towards that speed and fended off the attack from behind that was launched by Lin Chen.

"Who taught Chen'er to be this strong almost matched my strength, no! It seems that in terms of physicality and strength he is a bit more above me!" Lin Zhou saw that even though the difference in height of their bodies made Lin Chen always bounce back from resisting the attacks from Lin Zhou, Lin Chen still had incredible strength and endurance.

"Is it because of the pool of a thousand lightning bolts? Or did Lin Chen naturally have this kind of strength?" Bathin Lin Zhou was extremely astonished by the development of Lin Chen.

"Had Chen'er been surprised that I didn't use a sword, he had already prepared this! Haha," said Lin Zhou who was happy because this was a fun fight and made him this happy especially his own brother, Lin Chen.

"I can't lose to Chen'er!" Bathin Lin Zhou then exerted his profound qi power throughout his sword in order to strengthen his attack.

Lin Chen who realized that Lin Zhou was going to try to improve even a little bit of his ability realized that Lin Zhou was already starting to get serious.

But what Lin Chen did was "I lost.."

"Huh?" Lin Zhou stopped his attack from hearing and saw Lin Chen throw his sword at the ground.

"I gave up brother Zhou, I can't continue it anymore, I've reached my limit.." said Lin Chen who was pura to immediately sit down from exhaustion when in fact Lin Chen could still continue but did not want to see Lin Zhou lose his spirit.

"Ta. but our Chen'er is not done yet." said Lin Zhou who was still not satisfied with the results.

"No big brother Zhou, big brother Zhou won, where maybe I can win against big brother, I actually forced myself and wanted to see to what extent my strength was still up to that much," lin Chen explained.
