CHAPTER 37 - Special Elements
At the palace residence, Lin Chen was currently walking towards the training ground where Jing Shan had been waiting for him there, but an unexpected thing happened where Lin Chen suddenly passed by Jing Ling who was now normal again.
"Sir, where are you?" Asked Lin Chen made Jing Ling breathe a lot of air and exhale it.
"What are you looking for me for?" Asked Jing Ling who already controlled herself.
"Thank God that he wasn't like that before," Lin Chen's heart stared into Jing Ling's eyes making Jing Ling suddenly flushed red but still able to control herself.
"I'm looking for you because your father told me to take you to the training ground" Lin Chen told Jing Ling.
"Alright," Jing Ling said without much ado directly confirming Lin Chen's words.
"Usually this child is chatty, why can it be more mature like this?" Bathin Lin Chen who was unwilling to think too much about it and continued walking towards the training ground.
On the way, Jing Ling just kept silent as she looked at Lin Chen's back from behind, I don't know what made Jing Ling like so strange looking at someone from behind for so long.
"When I'm just apologizing, why do I feel this way?" Bathin Jing Ling was already able to control herself.
"Lin Chen," Jing Ling said making Lin Chen stop his steps.
"What's the princess?" Asked Lin Chen curiously.
"Anu don't call me princess, just call me Jing Ling or LingLing" Jing Ling told Lin Chen.
"Alright LingLing, what do you want to say to me?" Ask Lin Chen.
"What do you think love is?" Asked Jing Ling to Lin Chen made Lin Chen's expression become confused as the question was strange.
"Why do you ask such a thing? Are you in love with someone?" Said Lin Chen to Jing Ling.
"No no, sorry I shouldn't have asked such unnecessary things," said Jing Ling who felt guilty for asking what Lin Chen seemed to dislike.
"Hmm love yeah? When you feel comfortable being around people it means it's called love, love cannot be described as what it is because true love is a word created because indeed the origin of love is comfort, compassion, security, and whatever makes you happy is love," said Lin Chen explaining to Jing Ling.
"But there was someone who said that love was painful, was that really Lin Chen?" Asked Jing Ling curiously.
"The feeling of love is indeed hateful, too loving and excessive is wrong because the end of the pain and hatred arises." Lin Chen explained.
"So like that, thank you very much for answering my question," said Jing Ling thanking Lin Chen for enlightening what love is to Jing Ling.
"No need to thank me, I will answer the question with my knowledge," Lin Chen said then they walked towards the training ground.
"Good."
After a few minutes Lin Chen and Jing Ling finally reached the training ground where Jing Shan had been waiting for him.
"Ho you guys look like you're getting along? What happened this time? Haha," said Jing Shan looking at the ferocity between Lin Chen and Jing Ling.
"Dad, what did you call Ling'er here?" Jing Ling asked her father.
"I want you to help Lin Chen train so that Lin Chen can fully master his natural energy" Jing Shan said.
"No no, rather you will become his sams and let him attack you," Jing Shan said making Jing Ling frown, but suddenly her frown suddenly disappeared and agreed to her father's request.
"Well dad, I will do what you say" said Jing Ling, who was able to control herself and was more mature than ever.
"It turns out that the presence of Nak Chen here brought a change for Ling'er, I am very grateful that Lin Chen's presence was able to make a big change from Ling'er's selfish nature to be more mature according to his age," bathin Jing Shan smiled at her more mature child and was able to control herself and her emotions.
"Well, son Chen, before you practice, I want to check your body first and see what the special elements are like inside your body," jing Shan said he took out an artifact where it was an element checker.
"What is Uncle Shan?" Asked Lin Chen curiously.
"This is an ancient artifact to check what special elements are inside you" Jing Shan explained.
"As you know that we Elves have a special element, the wind element, but we can still use common elements such as fire, air, earth, water and so on use qi but its strength is not as strong as the special elements we have" Jing Shan explained.
"But the wind element is a common element" said Lin Chen, curious because the wind element is also a common element.
"We Elf races are different, we are endowed with natural energy and the power of the hereditary wind element where this element is from the power of the wind god." Jing Shan explained that the special element he possessed was a stronger element because it came from the descendant of the wind god.
"So like that, well I want to try to see what special elements I have," said Lin Chen.
"Give my hand to this artifact, and you don't need to flow it with qi because this artifact can already scan someone" Jing Shan explained.
"Good."
Lin Chen then placed his hand on the place of the ancient artifact and checked what kind of element was inside its body.
Jing Ling was also curious about what kind of special element Lin Chen would have.

Lin Chen realized that this darkness must be in his subconscious because Lin Chen could still move and think like a general.
Lin Chen could not see what, but the road that Lin Chen was treading was flat and there were no obstructions at all.
"Where am I?" Said Lin Chen but his voice echoed like inside a cave.
"Hello?" His voice always resonated like in a cave.
"How do I get out of my subconscious?" Bathin Lin Chen who felt something was strange.
"Maha." Lin Chen heard from a distance there was a sound of laughter from a grandfather making Lin Chen alert and frowning.
"Who are you?!" Said Lin Chen approaching and continued to approach towards the origin of the sound.
The longer Lin Chen walked, Lin Chen found a white dot where it was a light.
Lin Chen approached the little light bit by bit slowly walking over. The more it goes, the greater the light.
Until finally Lin Chen was free from the darkness and it seemed that Lin Chen had entered a very bright light even his eyes could not resist the light and closed it while walking.
